ਪੰਨਾ 1092, ਸਤਰ 2 ਇਸੁ ਜਗ ਮਹਿ ਸੰਤੀ ਧਨੁ ਖਟਿਆ ਜਿਨਾ ਸਤਿਗੁਰੁ ਮਿਲਿਆ ਪ੍ਰਭੁ ਆਇ ॥ इसु जग महि संती धनु खटिआ जिना सतिगुरु मिलिआ प्रभु आइ ॥ Is jag mėh sanṯī ḏẖan kẖati▫ā jinā saṯgur mili▫ā parabẖ ā▫e. ਪੰਨਾ 1093, ਸਤਰ 1 ਬਿਨੁ ਗੁਰ ਤਤੁ ਨ ਪਾਈਐ ਅਲਖੁ ਵਸੈ ਸਭ ਮਾਹਿ ॥ बिनु गुर ततु न पाईऐ अलखु वसै सभ माहि ॥ Bin gur ṯaṯ na pā▫ī▫ai alakẖ vasai sabẖ māhi. Without the Guru, the essence of reality is not found; the Invisible Lord dwells everywhere. ਮਃ 1   -  view Shabad/Paurhi/Salok

ਪੰਨਾ 1097, ਸਤਰ 11 ਸੋ ਮੰਗਾ ਦਾਨੁ ਗੋੁਸਾਈਆ ਜਿਤੁ ਭੁਖ ਲਹਿ ਜਾਵੈ ॥ सो मंगा दानु गोसाईआ जितु भुख लहि जावै ॥ So mangā ḏān gosā▫ī▫ā jiṯ bẖukẖ lėh jāvai. I beg for that gift from the Lord of the World, which will satisfy my hunger. ਮਃ 5   -  view Shabad/Paurhi/Salok

ਪੰਨਾ 1098, ਸਤਰ 5 ਵਿਣੁ ਕਰਮਾ ਹਰਿ ਜੀਉ ਨ ਪਾਈਐ ਬਿਨੁ ਸਤਿਗੁਰ ਮਨੂਆ ਨ ਲਗੈ ॥ विणु करमा हरि जीउ न पाईऐ बिनु सतिगुर मनूआ न लगै ॥ viṇ karmā har jī▫o na pā▫ī▫ai bin saṯgur manū▫ā na lagai. ਪੰਨਾ 1098, ਸਤਰ 8 ਤਿਚਰੁ ਥਾਹ ਨ ਪਾਵਈ ਜਿਚਰੁ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਸਿਉ ਮਨ ਭੰਗੈ ॥ तिचरु थाह न पावई जिचरु साहिब सिउ मन भंगै ॥ Ŧicẖar thāh na pāv▫ī jicẖar sāhib si▫o man bẖangai. As long as one's mind is torn away from his Lord and Master, he finds no place of rest. ਮਃ 5   -  view Shabad/Paurhi/Salok

ਪੰਨਾ 1100, ਸਤਰ 6 ਸਜਣ ਮੁਖੁ ਅਨੂਪੁ ਅਠੇ ਪਹਰ ਨਿਹਾਲਸਾ ॥ सजण मुखु अनूपु अठे पहर निहालसा ॥ Sajaṇ mukẖ anūp aṯẖe pahar nihālsā. The face of my friend, the Lord, is incomparably beautiful; I would watch Him, twenty-four hours a day. ਮਃ 5   -  view Shabad/Paurhi/Salok
