ਪੰਨਾ 244, ਸਤਰ 19 ਪਾਣੀ ਅੰਨੁ ਨ ਭਾਵੈ ਮਰੀਐ ਹਾਵੈ ਬਿਨੁ ਪਿਰ ਕਿਉ ਸੁਖੁ ਪਾਈਐ ॥ पाणी अंनु न भावै मरीऐ हावै बिनु पिर किउ सुखु पाईऐ ॥ Pāṇī ann na bẖāvai marī▫ai hāvai bin pir ki▫o sukẖ pā▫ī▫ai. ਪੰਨਾ 245, ਸਤਰ 17 ਸਬਦੁ ਖੇਵਟੁ ਵਿਚਿ ਪਾਏ ਹਰਿ ਆਪਿ ਲਘਾਏ ਇਨ ਬਿਧਿ ਦੁਤਰੁ ਤਰੀਐ ॥ सबदु खेवटु विचि पाए हरि आपि लघाए इन बिधि दुतरु तरीऐ ॥ Sabaḏ kẖevat vicẖ pā▫e har āp lagẖā▫e in biḏẖ ḏuṯar ṯarī▫ai. ਪੰਨਾ 245, ਸਤਰ 18 ਗੁਰਮੁਖਿ ਭਗਤਿ ਪਰਾਪਤਿ ਹੋਵੈ ਜੀਵਤਿਆ ਇਉ ਮਰੀਐ ॥ गुरमुखि भगति परापति होवै जीवतिआ इउ मरीऐ ॥ Gurmukẖ bẖagaṯ parāpaṯ hovai jīvṯi▫ā i▫o marī▫ai. The Gurmukh obtains devotional worship of the Lord, and thus remains dead while yet alive. ਮਃ 3   -  view Shabad/Paurhi/Salok

ਪੰਨਾ 246, ਸਤਰ 2 ਡੂਬਿ ਮੁਏ ਬਿਨੁ ਪਾਣੀ ਗਤਿ ਨਹੀ ਜਾਣੀ ਹਉਮੈ ਧਾਤੁ ਸੰਸਾਰੇ ॥ डूबि मुए बिनु पाणी गति नही जाणी हउमै धातु संसारे ॥ Dūb mu▫e bin pāṇī gaṯ nahī jāṇī ha▫umai ḏẖāṯ sansāre. ਪੰਨਾ 246, ਸਤਰ 3 ਗੁਰਮੁਖਿ ਹੋਵੈ ਰਾਮ ਨਾਮੁ ਵਖਾਣੈ ਆਪਿ ਤਰੈ ਕੁਲ ਤਾਰੇ ॥ गुरमुखि होवै राम नामु वखाणै आपि तरै कुल तारे ॥ Gurmukẖ hovai rām nām vakẖāṇai āp ṯarai kul ṯāre. Those who become Gurmukh and chant the Lord's Name, save themselves and save their families as well. ਮਃ 3   -  view Shabad/Paurhi/Salok

ਪੰਨਾ 246, ਸਤਰ 4 ਰਾਮ ਨਾਮ ਬਿਨੁ ਕੋ ਥਿਰੁ ਨਾਹੀ ਜੀਉ ਬਾਜੀ ਹੈ ਸੰਸਾਰਾ ॥ राम नाम बिनु को थिरु नाही जीउ बाजी है संसारा ॥ Rām nām bin ko thir nāhī jī▫o bājī hai sansārā. Without the Lord's Name, nothing is stable. This world is just a drama. ਮਃ 3   -  view Shabad/Paurhi/Salok

ਪੰਨਾ 246, ਸਤਰ 6 ਹਮ ਮਤਿ ਹੀਣ ਮੂਰਖ ਮੁਗਧ ਅੰਧੇ ਸਤਿਗੁਰਿ ਮਾਰਗਿ ਪਾਏ ॥ हम मति हीण मूरख मुगध अंधे सतिगुरि मारगि पाए ॥ Ham maṯ hīṇ mūrakẖ mugaḏẖ anḏẖe saṯgur mārag pā▫e. I am senseless, foolish, idiotic and blind, but the True Guru has placed me on the Path. ਮਃ 3   -  view Shabad/Paurhi/Salok

ਪੰਨਾ 246, ਸਤਰ 7 ਨਾਨਕ ਗੁਰਮੁਖਿ ਸਬਦਿ ਸੁਹਾਵੇ ਅਨਦਿਨੁ ਹਰਿ ਗੁਣ ਗਾਏ ॥੩॥ नानक गुरमुखि सबदि सुहावे अनदिनु हरि गुण गाए ॥३॥ Nānak gurmukẖ sabaḏ suhāve an▫ḏin har guṇ gā▫e. ||3|| O Nanak, the Gurmukhs are adorned with the Shabad; night and day, they sing the Glorious Praises of the Lord. ||3|| ਮਃ 3   -  view Shabad/Paurhi/Salok

ਪੰਨਾ 246, ਸਤਰ 9 ਜੁਗੁ ਜੁਗੁ ਭਗਤ ਪਿਆਰੇ ਹਰਿ ਆਪਿ ਸਵਾਰੇ ਆਪੇ ਭਗਤੀ ਲਾਏ ॥ जुगु जुगु भगत पिआरे हरि आपि सवारे आपे भगती लाए ॥ Jug jug bẖagaṯ pi▫āre har āp savāre āpe bẖagṯī lā▫e. ਪੰਨਾ 246, ਸਤਰ 10 ਆਪੇ ਗੁਣਦਾਤਾ ਅਵਗੁਣ ਕਾਟੇ ਹਿਰਦੈ ਨਾਮੁ ਵਸਾਏ ॥ आपे गुणदाता अवगुण काटे हिरदै नामु वसाए ॥ Āpe guṇḏāṯā avguṇ kāte hirḏai nām vasā▫e. He Himself is the Giver of merits, and the Destroyer of demerits; He causes His Name to dwell within our hearts. ਮਃ 3   -  view Shabad/Paurhi/Salok

ਪੰਨਾ 246, ਸਤਰ 11 ਮੰਞਹੁ ਦੂਰਿ ਨ ਜਾਹਿ ਪਿਰਾ ਜੀਉ ਘਰਿ ਬੈਠਿਆ ਹਰਿ ਪਾਏ ॥ मंञहु दूरि न जाहि पिरा जीउ घरि बैठिआ हरि पाए ॥ Mañahu ḏūr na jāhi pirā jī▫o gẖar baiṯẖi▫ā har pā▫e. ਪੰਨਾ 246, ਸਤਰ 12 ਘਰਿ ਬੈਠਿਆ ਹਰਿ ਪਾਏ ਸਦਾ ਚਿਤੁ ਲਾਏ ਸਹਜੇ ਸਤਿ ਸੁਭਾਏ ॥ घरि बैठिआ हरि पाए सदा चितु लाए सहजे सति सुभाए ॥ Gẖar baiṯẖi▫ā har pā▫e saḏā cẖiṯ lā▫e sėhje saṯ subẖā▫e. ਪੰਨਾ 246, ਸਤਰ 14 ਹਰਿ ਕਾ ਨਾਮੁ ਮੀਠਾ ਪਿਰਾ ਜੀਉ ਜਾ ਚਾਖਹਿ ਚਿਤੁ ਲਾਏ ॥ हरि का नामु मीठा पिरा जीउ जा चाखहि चितु लाए ॥ Har kā nām mīṯẖā pirā jī▫o jā cẖākẖahi cẖiṯ lā▫e. The Name of the Lord is so sweet, O my dear; taste it, and focus your consciousness on it. ਮਃ 3   -  view Shabad/Paurhi/Salok

ਪੰਨਾ 246, ਸਤਰ 15 ਰਸਨਾ ਹਰਿ ਰਸੁ ਚਾਖੁ ਮੁਯੇ ਜੀਉ ਅਨ ਰਸ ਸਾਦ ਗਵਾਏ ॥ रसना हरि रसु चाखु मुये जीउ अन रस साद गवाए ॥ Rasnā har ras cẖākẖ muye jī▫o an ras sāḏ gavā▫e. Taste the sublime essence of the Lord with your tongue, my dear, and renounce the pleasures of other tastes. ਮਃ 3   -  view Shabad/Paurhi/Salok

ਪੰਨਾ 246, ਸਤਰ 15 ਸਦਾ ਹਰਿ ਰਸੁ ਪਾਏ ਜਾ ਹਰਿ ਭਾਏ ਰਸਨਾ ਸਬਦਿ ਸੁਹਾਏ ॥ सदा हरि रसु पाए जा हरि भाए रसना सबदि सुहाए ॥ Saḏā har ras pā▫e jā har bẖā▫e rasnā sabaḏ suhā▫e. ਪੰਨਾ 247, ਸਤਰ 2 ਮਾਇਆ ਕਾ ਭ੍ਰਮੁ ਅੰਧੁ ਪਿਰਾ ਜੀਉ ਹਰਿ ਮਾਰਗੁ ਕਿਉ ਪਾਏ ॥ माइआ का भ्रमु अंधु पिरा जीउ हरि मारगु किउ पाए ॥ Mā▫i▫ā kā bẖaram anḏẖ pirā jī▫o har mārag ki▫o pā▫e. The delusion of Maya has made them blind, O my dear; how can they find the Way of the Lord? ਮਃ 3   -  view Shabad/Paurhi/Salok

ਪੰਨਾ 247, ਸਤਰ 4 ਹਰਿ ਕੇ ਚਾਕਰ ਸਦਾ ਸੁਹੇਲੇ ਗੁਰ ਚਰਣੀ ਚਿਤੁ ਲਾਏ ॥ हरि के चाकर सदा सुहेले गुर चरणी चितु लाए ॥ Har ke cẖākar saḏā suhele gur cẖarṇī cẖiṯ lā▫e. The Lord's servants are forever comfortable. They focus their consciousness on the Guru's Feet. ਮਃ 3   -  view Shabad/Paurhi/Salok

ਪੰਨਾ 247, ਸਤਰ 4 ਜਿਸ ਨੋ ਹਰਿ ਜੀਉ ਕਰੇ ਕਿਰਪਾ ਸਦਾ ਹਰਿ ਕੇ ਗੁਣ ਗਾਏ ॥ जिस नो हरि जीउ करे किरपा सदा हरि के गुण गाए ॥ Jis no har jī▫o kare kirpā saḏā har ke guṇ gā▫e. Those unto whom the Lord shows His Mercy, sing the Glorious Praises of the Lord forever. ਮਃ 3   -  view Shabad/Paurhi/Salok

ਪੰਨਾ 247, ਸਤਰ 7 ਮੇਰੇ ਮੀਤ ਸਖਾ ਹਰਿ ਜੀਉ ਗੁਰ ਪੁਰਖ ਬਿਧਾਤੇ ॥ मेरे मीत सखा हरि जीउ गुर पुरख बिधाते ॥ Mere mīṯ sakẖā har jī▫o gur purakẖ biḏẖāṯe. My Friend and Companion is the Dear Lord, the Guru, the Architect of Destiny. ਮਃ 5   -  view Shabad/Paurhi/Salok

ਪੰਨਾ 247, ਸਤਰ 12 ਪਿਰ ਦੋਸੁ ਨਾਹੀ ਸੁਖਹ ਦਾਤੇ ਹਉ ਵਿਛੁੜੀ ਬੁਰਿਆਰੇ ॥ पिर दोसु नाही सुखह दाते हउ विछुड़ी बुरिआरे ॥ Pir ḏos nāhī sukẖah ḏāṯe ha▫o vicẖẖuṛī buri▫āre. The fault is not with my Husband Lord, the Giver of peace; I am separated from Him by my own mistakes. ਮਃ 5   -  view Shabad/Paurhi/Salok

ਪੰਨਾ 247, ਸਤਰ 18 ਸਭ ਮੀਤ ਬੰਧਪ ਹਰਖੁ ਉਪਜਿਆ ਦੂਤ ਥਾਉ ਗਵਾਇਆ ॥ सभ मीत बंधप हरखु उपजिआ दूत थाउ गवाइआ ॥ Sabẖ mīṯ banḏẖap harakẖ upji▫ā ḏūṯ thā▫o gavā▫i▫ā. All my friends and relatives are happy, and all traces of my enemies have been removed. ਮਃ 5   -  view Shabad/Paurhi/Salok

ਪੰਨਾ 247, ਸਤਰ 19 ਬਿਨਵੰਤਿ ਨਾਨਕੁ ਸਹਜਿ ਰਹੈ ਹਰਿ ਮਿਲਿਆ ਕੰਤੁ ਸੁਖਦਾਈ ॥੪॥੧॥ बिनवंति नानकु सहजि रहै हरि मिलिआ कंतु सुखदाई ॥४॥१॥ Binvanṯ Nānak sahj rahai har mili▫ā kanṯ sukẖ▫ḏā▫ī. ||4||1|| Prays Nanak, I am in celestial bliss. ਪੰਨਾ 248, ਸਤਰ 9 ਮਲ ਮੂਤ ਮੂੜ ਜਿ ਮੁਗਧ ਹੋਤੇ ਸਿ ਦੇਖਿ ਦਰਸੁ ਸੁਗਿਆਨਾ ॥ मल मूत मूड़ जि मुगध होते सि देखि दरसु सुगिआना ॥ Mal mūṯ mūṛ jė mugaḏẖ hoṯe sė ḏekẖ ḏaras sugi▫ānā.
