ਸਭਿ ਸਿਧ ਸਾਧਿਕ ਮੁਨਿ ਜਨਾ ਮਨਿ ਭਾਵਨੀ ਹਰਿ ਧਿਆਇਓ ॥
Sabẖ siḏẖ sāḏẖik mun janā man bẖāvnī har ḏẖi▫ā▫i▫o.
All the Siddhas, seekers and silent sages, with their minds full of love, meditate on the Lord.

ਅਪਰੰਪਰੋ ਪਾਰਬ੍ਰਹਮੁ ਸੁਆਮੀ ਹਰਿ ਅਲਖੁ ਗੁਰੂ ਲਖਾਇਓ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
Aprampro pārbarahm su▫āmī har alakẖ gurū lakẖā▫i▫o. ||1|| rahā▫o.
The Supreme Lord God, my Lord and Master, is limitless; the Guru has inspired me to know the unknowable Lord. ||1||Pause||

ਹਮ ਨੀਚ ਮਧਿਮ ਕਰਮ ਕੀਏ ਨਹੀ ਚੇਤਿਓ ਹਰਿ ਰਾਇਓ ॥
Ham nīcẖ maḏẖim karam kī▫e nahī cẖeṯi▫o har rā▫i▫o.
I am low, and I commit evil actions; I have not remembered my Sovereign Lord.

ਹਰਿ ਆਨਿ ਮੇਲਿਓ ਸਤਿਗੁਰੂ ਖਿਨੁ ਬੰਧ ਮੁਕਤਿ ਕਰਾਇਓ ॥੧॥
Har ān meli▫o saṯgurū kẖin banḏẖ mukaṯ karā▫i▫o. ||1||
The Lord has led me to meet the True Guru; in an instant, He liberated me from bondage. ||1||
|
ਪ੍ਰਭਿ ਮਸਤਕੇ ਧੁਰਿ ਲੀਖਿਆ ਗੁਰਮਤੀ ਹਰਿ ਲਿਵ ਲਾਇਓ ॥
Parabẖ masṯake ḏẖur līkẖi▫ā gurmaṯī har liv lā▫i▫o.
Such is the destiny God wrote on my forehead; following the Guru's Teachings, I enshrine love for the Lord.

ਪੰਚ ਸਬਦ ਦਰਗਹ ਬਾਜਿਆ ਹਰਿ ਮਿਲਿਓ ਮੰਗਲੁ ਗਾਇਓ ॥੨॥
Pancẖ sabaḏ ḏargėh bāji▫ā har mili▫o mangal gā▫i▫o. ||2||
The Panch Shabad, the five primal sounds, vibrate and resound in the Court of the Lord; meeting the Lord, I sing the songs of joy. ||2||

ਪਤਿਤ ਪਾਵਨੁ ਨਾਮੁ ਨਰਹਰਿ ਮੰਦਭਾਗੀਆਂ ਨਹੀ ਭਾਇਓ ॥
Paṯiṯ pāvan nām narhar manḏ▫bẖāgī▫āʼn nahī bẖā▫i▫o.
The Naam, the Name of the Lord, is the Purifier of sinners; the unfortunate wretches do not like this.

ਤੇ ਗਰਭ ਜੋਨੀ ਗਾਲੀਅਹਿ ਜਿਉ ਲੋਨੁ ਜਲਹਿ ਗਲਾਇਓ ॥੩॥
Ŧe garabẖ jonī gālī▫ah ji▫o lon jalėh galā▫i▫o. ||3||
They rot away in the womb of reincarnation; they fall apart like salt in water. ||3||
|
ਮਤਿ ਦੇਹਿ ਹਰਿ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਅਗਮ ਠਾਕੁਰ ਗੁਰ ਚਰਨ ਮਨੁ ਮੈ ਲਾਇਓ ॥
Maṯ ḏėh har parabẖ agam ṯẖākur gur cẖaran man mai lā▫i▫o.
Please bless me with such understanding, O Inaccessible Lord God, my Lord and Master, that my mind may remain attached to the Guru's feet.

ਹਰਿ ਰਾਮ ਨਾਮੈ ਰਹਉ ਲਾਗੋ ਜਨ ਨਾਨਕ ਨਾਮਿ ਸਮਾਇਓ ॥੪॥੩॥
Har rām nāmai raha▫o lāgo jan Nānak nām samā▫i▫o. ||4||3||
Servant Nanak remains attached to the Name of the Lord; he is merged in the Naam. ||4||3||

ਮੇਰਾ ਮਨੁ ਰਾਮ ਨਾਮਿ ਰਸਿ ਲਾਗਾ ॥
Merā man rām nām ras lāgā.
My mind is addicted to the juice of the Lord's Name.

ਕਮਲ ਪ੍ਰਗਾਸੁ ਭਇਆ ਗੁਰੁ ਪਾਇਆ ਹਰਿ ਜਪਿਓ ਭ੍ਰਮੁ ਭਉ ਭਾਗਾ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
Kamal pargās bẖa▫i▫ā gur pā▫i▫ā har japi▫o bẖaram bẖa▫o bẖāgā. ||1|| rahā▫o.
My heart-lotus has blossomed forth, and I have found the Guru. Meditating on the Lord, my doubts and fears have run away. ||1||Pause||

ਭੈ ਭਾਇ ਭਗਤਿ ਲਾਗੋ ਮੇਰਾ ਹੀਅਰਾ ਮਨੁ ਸੋਇਓ ਗੁਰਮਤਿ ਜਾਗਾ ॥
Bẖai bẖā▫e bẖagaṯ lāgo merā hī▫arā man so▫i▫o gurmaṯ jāgā.
In the Fear of God, my heart is committed in loving devotion to Him; following the Guru's Teachings, my sleeping mind has awakened.

ਕਿਲਬਿਖ ਖੀਨ ਭਏ ਸਾਂਤਿ ਆਈ ਹਰਿ ਉਰ ਧਾਰਿਓ ਵਡਭਾਗਾ ॥੧॥
Kilbikẖ kẖīn bẖa▫e sāʼnṯ ā▫ī har ur ḏẖāri▫o vadbẖāgā. ||1||
All my sins have been erased, and I have found peace and tranquility; I have enshrined the Lord within my heart, by great good fortune. ||1||
|
ਮਨਮੁਖੁ ਰੰਗੁ ਕਸੁੰਭੁ ਹੈ ਕਚੂਆ ਜਿਉ ਕੁਸਮ ਚਾਰਿ ਦਿਨ ਚਾਗਾ ॥
Manmukẖ rang kasumbẖ hai kacẖū▫ā ji▫o kusam cẖār ḏin cẖāgā.
The self-willed manmukh is like the false color of the safflower, which fades away; its color lasts for only a few days.

ਖਿਨ ਮਹਿ ਬਿਨਸਿ ਜਾਇ ਪਰਤਾਪੈ ਡੰਡੁ ਧਰਮ ਰਾਇ ਕਾ ਲਾਗਾ ॥੨॥
Kẖin mėh binas jā▫e parṯāpai dand ḏẖaram rā▫e kā lāgā. ||2||
He perishes in an instant; he is tormented, and punished by the Righteous Judge of Dharma. ||2||
|
ਸਤਸੰਗਤਿ ਪ੍ਰੀਤਿ ਸਾਧ ਅਤਿ ਗੂੜੀ ਜਿਉ ਰੰਗੁ ਮਜੀਠ ਬਹੁ ਲਾਗਾ ॥
Saṯsangaṯ parīṯ sāḏẖ aṯ gūṛī ji▫o rang majīṯẖ baho lāgā.
The Lord's Love, found in the Sat Sangat, the True Congregation, is absolutely permanent, and colorfast.

ਕਾਇਆ ਕਾਪਰੁ ਚੀਰ ਬਹੁ ਫਾਰੇ ਹਰਿ ਰੰਗੁ ਨ ਲਹੈ ਸਭਾਗਾ ॥੩॥
Kā▫i▫ā kāpar cẖīr baho fāre har rang na lahai sabẖāgā. ||3||
The cloth of the body may be torn to shreds, but still, this beautiful color of the Lord's Love does not fade away. ||3||
|
ਹਰਿ ਚਾਰ੍ਹਿਓ ਰੰਗੁ ਮਿਲੈ ਗੁਰੁ ਸੋਭਾ ਹਰਿ ਰੰਗਿ ਚਲੂਲੈ ਰਾਂਗਾ ॥
Har cẖārĥi▫o rang milai gur sobẖā har rang cẖalūlai rāʼngā.
Meeting with the Blessed Guru, one is dyed in the color of the Lord's Love, imbued with this deep crimson color.

ਜਨ ਨਾਨਕੁ ਤਿਨ ਕੇ ਚਰਨ ਪਖਾਰੈ ਜੋ ਹਰਿ ਚਰਨੀ ਜਨੁ ਲਾਗਾ ॥੪॥੪॥
Jan Nānak ṯin ke cẖaran pakẖārai jo har cẖarnī jan lāgā. ||4||4||
Servant Nanak washes the feet of that humble being, who is attached to the feet of the Lord. ||4||4||

ਮਾਲੀ ਗਉੜਾ ਮਹਲਾ ੪ ॥

ਮੇਰੇ ਮਨ ਭਜੁ ਹਰਿ ਹਰਿ ਨਾਮੁ ਗੁਪਾਲਾ ॥
Mere man bẖaj har har nām gupālā.
O my mind, meditate, vibrate upon the Name of the Lord, the Lord of the World, Har, Har.

ਮੇਰਾ ਮਨੁ ਤਨੁ ਲੀਨੁ ਭਇਆ ਰਾਮ ਨਾਮੈ ਮਤਿ ਗੁਰਮਤਿ ਰਾਮ ਰਸਾਲਾ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
Merā man ṯan līn bẖa▫i▫ā rām nāmai maṯ gurmaṯ rām rasālā. ||1|| rahā▫o.
My mind and body are merged in the Lord's Name, and through the Guru's Teachings, my intellect is imbued with the Lord, the source of nectar. ||1||Pause||

ਗੁਰਮਤਿ ਨਾਮੁ ਧਿਆਈਐ ਹਰਿ ਹਰਿ ਮਨਿ ਜਪੀਐ ਹਰਿ ਜਪਮਾਲਾ ॥
Gurmaṯ nām ḏẖi▫ā▫ī▫ai har har man japī▫ai har japmālā.
Follow the Guru's Teachings, and meditate on the Naam, the Name of the Lord, Har, Har. Chant, and meditate, on the beads of the mala of the Lord.

ਜਿਨ੍ਹ੍ਹ ਕੈ ਮਸਤਕਿ ਲੀਖਿਆ ਹਰਿ ਮਿਲਿਆ ਹਰਿ ਬਨਮਾਲਾ ॥੧॥
Jinĥ kai masṯak līkẖi▫ā har mili▫ā har banmālā. ||1||
Those who have such destiny inscribed upon their foreheads, meet with the Lord, adorned with garlands of flowers. ||1||
|
ਜਿਨ੍ਹ੍ਹ ਹਰਿ ਨਾਮੁ ਧਿਆਇਆ ਤਿਨ੍ਹ੍ਹ ਚੂਕੇ ਸਰਬ ਜੰਜਾਲਾ ॥
Jinĥ har nām ḏẖi▫ā▫i▫ā ṯinĥ cẖūke sarab janjālā.
Those who meditate on the Name of the Lord - all their entanglements are ended.

ਤਿਨ੍ਹ੍ਹ ਜਮੁ ਨੇੜਿ ਨ ਆਵਈ ਗੁਰਿ ਰਾਖੇ ਹਰਿ ਰਖਵਾਲਾ ॥੨॥
Ŧinĥ jam neṛ na āvī gur rākẖe har rakẖvālā. ||2||
The Messenger of Death does not even approach them; the Guru, the Savior Lord, saves them. ||2||
|
ਹਮ ਬਾਰਿਕ ਕਿਛੂ ਨ ਜਾਣਹੂ ਹਰਿ ਮਾਤ ਪਿਤਾ ਪ੍ਰਤਿਪਾਲਾ ॥
Ham bārik kicẖẖū na jāṇhū har māṯ piṯā parṯipālā.
I am a child; I know nothing at all. The Lord cherishes me, as my mother and father.

ਕਰੁ ਮਾਇਆ ਅਗਨਿ ਨਿਤ ਮੇਲਤੇ ਗੁਰਿ ਰਾਖੇ ਦੀਨ ਦਇਆਲਾ ॥੩॥
Kar mā▫i▫ā agan niṯ melṯe gur rākẖe ḏīn ḏa▫i▫ālā. ||3||
I continually put my hands into the fire of Maya, but the Guru saves me; He is merciful to the meek. ||3||
|
ਬਹੁ ਮੈਲੇ ਨਿਰਮਲ ਹੋਇਆ ਸਭ ਕਿਲਬਿਖ ਹਰਿ ਜਸਿ ਜਾਲਾ ॥
Baho maile nirmal ho▫i▫ā sabẖ kilbikẖ har jas jālā.
I was filthy, but I have become immaculate. Singing the Lord's Praises, all sins have been burnt to ashes.

ਮਨਿ ਅਨਦੁ ਭਇਆ ਗੁਰੁ ਪਾਇਆ ਜਨ ਨਾਨਕ ਸਬਦਿ ਨਿਹਾਲਾ ॥੪॥੫॥
Man anaḏ bẖa▫i▫ā gur pā▫i▫ā jan Nānak sabaḏ nihālā. ||4||5||
My mind is in ecstasy, having found the Guru; servant Nanak is enraptured through the Word of the Shabad. ||4||5||
