ਵਡੀ ਆਰਜਾ ਹਰਿ ਗੋਬਿੰਦ ਕੀ ਸੂਖ ਮੰਗਲ ਕਲਿਆਣ ਬੀਚਾਰਿਆ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
वडी आरजा हरि गोबिंद की सूख मंगल कलिआण बीचारिआ ॥१॥ रहाउ ॥
vadī ārjā har gobinḏ kī sūkẖ mangal kali▫āṇ bīcẖāri▫ā. ||1|| rahā▫o.
He has blessed Hargobind with long life, and taken care of my comfort, happiness and well-being. ||1||Pause||

ਵਣ ਤ੍ਰਿਣ ਤ੍ਰਿਭਵਣ ਹਰਿਆ ਹੋਏ ਸਗਲੇ ਜੀਅ ਸਾਧਾਰਿਆ ॥
वण त्रिण त्रिभवण हरिआ होए सगले जीअ साधारिआ ॥
vaṇ ṯariṇ ṯaribẖavaṇ hari▫ā ho▫e sagle jī▫a sāḏẖāri▫ā.
The forests, meadows and the three worlds have blossomed forth in greenery; He gives His Support to all beings.

ਮਨ ਇਛੇ ਨਾਨਕ ਫਲ ਪਾਏ ਪੂਰਨ ਇਛ ਪੁਜਾਰਿਆ ॥੨॥੫॥੨੩॥
मन इछे नानक फल पाए पूरन इछ पुजारिआ ॥२॥५॥२३॥
Man icẖẖe Nānak fal pā▫e pūran icẖẖ pujāri▫ā. ||2||5||23||
Nanak has obtained the fruits of his mind's desires; his desires are totally fulfilled. ||2||5||23||

ਜਿਸੁ ਊਪਰਿ ਹੋਵਤ ਦਇਆਲੁ ॥
जिसु ऊपरि होवत दइआलु ॥
Jis ūpar hovaṯ ḏa▫i▫āl.
One who is blessed by the Lord's Mercy,
|
ਹਰਿ ਸਿਮਰਤ ਕਾਟੈ ਸੋ ਕਾਲੁ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
हरि सिमरत काटै सो कालु ॥१॥ रहाउ ॥
Har simraṯ kātai so kāl. ||1|| rahā▫o.
passes his time in contemplative meditation. ||1||Pause||

ਸਾਧਸੰਗਿ ਭਜੀਐ ਗੋਪਾਲੁ ॥
साधसंगि भजीऐ गोपालु ॥
Sāḏẖsang bẖajī▫ai gopāl.
In the Saadh Sangat, the Company of the Holy, meditate, and vibrate upon the Lord of the Universe.

ਗੁਨ ਗਾਵਤ ਤੂਟੈ ਜਮ ਜਾਲੁ ॥੧॥
गुन गावत तूटै जम जालु ॥१॥
Gun gāvaṯ ṯūtai jam jāl. ||1||
Singing the Glorious Praises of the Lord, the noose of death is cut away. ||1||
|
ਆਪੇ ਸਤਿਗੁਰੁ ਆਪੇ ਪ੍ਰਤਿਪਾਲ ॥
आपे सतिगुरु आपे प्रतिपाल ॥
Āpe saṯgur āpe parṯipāl.
He Himself is the True Guru, and He Himself is the Cherisher.

ਨਾਨਕੁ ਜਾਚੈ ਸਾਧ ਰਵਾਲ ॥੨॥੬॥੨੪॥
नानकु जाचै साध रवाल ॥२॥६॥२४॥
Nānak jācẖai sāḏẖ ravāl. ||2||6||24||
Nanak begs for the dust of the feet of the Holy. ||2||6||24||

ਮਨ ਮਹਿ ਸਿੰਚਹੁ ਹਰਿ ਹਰਿ ਨਾਮ ॥
मन महि सिंचहु हरि हरि नाम ॥
Man mėh sincẖahu har har nām.
Irrigate your mind with the Name of the Lord, Har, Har.

ਅਨਦਿਨੁ ਕੀਰਤਨੁ ਹਰਿ ਗੁਣ ਗਾਮ ॥੧॥
अनदिनु कीरतनु हरि गुण गाम ॥१॥
An▫ḏin kīrṯan har guṇ gām. ||1||
Night and day, sing the Kirtan of the Lord's Praises. ||1||
|
ਐਸੀ ਪ੍ਰੀਤਿ ਕਰਹੁ ਮਨ ਮੇਰੇ ॥
ऐसी प्रीति करहु मन मेरे ॥
Aisī parīṯ karahu man mere.
Enshrine such love, O my mind,
|
ਆਠ ਪਹਰ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਜਾਨਹੁ ਨੇਰੇ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
आठ पहर प्रभ जानहु नेरे ॥१॥ रहाउ ॥
Āṯẖ pahar parabẖ jānhu nere. ||1|| rahā▫o.
that twenty-four hours a day, God will seem near to you. ||1||Pause||

ਕਹੁ ਨਾਨਕ ਜਾ ਕੇ ਨਿਰਮਲ ਭਾਗ ॥
कहु नानक जा के निरमल भाग ॥
Kaho Nānak jā ke nirmal bẖāg.
Says Nanak, one who has such immaculate destiny -

ਹਰਿ ਚਰਨੀ ਤਾ ਕਾ ਮਨੁ ਲਾਗ ॥੨॥੭॥੨੫॥
हरि चरनी ता का मनु लाग ॥२॥७॥२५॥
Har cẖarnī ṯā kā man lāg. ||2||7||25||
his mind is attached to the Lord's Feet. ||2||7||25||

ਰੋਗੁ ਗਇਆ ਪ੍ਰਭਿ ਆਪਿ ਗਵਾਇਆ ॥
रोगु गइआ प्रभि आपि गवाइआ ॥
Rog ga▫i▫ā parabẖ āp gavā▫i▫ā.
The disease is gone; God Himself took it away.

ਨੀਦ ਪਈ ਸੁਖ ਸਹਜ ਘਰੁ ਆਇਆ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
नीद पई सुख सहज घरु आइआ ॥१॥ रहाउ ॥
Nīḏ pa▫ī sukẖ sahj gẖar ā▫i▫ā. ||1|| rahā▫o.
I sleep in peace; peaceful poise has come to my home. ||1||Pause||

ਰਜਿ ਰਜਿ ਭੋਜਨੁ ਖਾਵਹੁ ਮੇਰੇ ਭਾਈ ॥
रजि रजि भोजनु खावहु मेरे भाई ॥
Raj raj bẖojan kāvahu mere bẖā▫ī.
Eat to your fill, O my Siblings of Destiny.

ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤ ਨਾਮੁ ਰਿਦ ਮਾਹਿ ਧਿਆਈ ॥੧॥
अम्रित नामु रिद माहि धिआई ॥१॥
Amriṯ nām riḏ māhi ḏẖi▫ā▫ī. ||1||
Meditate on the Ambrosial Naam, the Name of the Lord, within your heart. ||1||
|
ਨਾਨਕ ਗੁਰ ਪੂਰੇ ਸਰਨਾਈ ॥
नानक गुर पूरे सरनाई ॥
Nānak gur pūre sarnā▫ī.
Nanak has entered the Sanctuary of the Perfect Guru,
|
ਜਿਨਿ ਅਪਨੇ ਨਾਮ ਕੀ ਪੈਜ ਰਖਾਈ ॥੨॥੮॥੨੬॥
जिनि अपने नाम की पैज रखाई ॥२॥८॥२६॥
Jin apne nām kī paij rakẖā▫ī. ||2||8||26||
who has preserved the honor of His Name. ||2||8||26||

ਸਤਿਗੁਰ ਕਰਿ ਦੀਨੇ ਅਸਥਿਰ ਘਰ ਬਾਰ ॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
सतिगुर करि दीने असथिर घर बार ॥ रहाउ ॥
Saṯgur kar ḏīne asthir gẖar bār. Rahā▫o.
The True Guru has protected my hearth and home, and made them permanent. ||Pause||
|
ਜੋ ਜੋ ਨਿੰਦ ਕਰੈ ਇਨ ਗ੍ਰਿਹਨ ਕੀ ਤਿਸੁ ਆਗੈ ਹੀ ਮਾਰੈ ਕਰਤਾਰ ॥੧॥
जो जो निंद करै इन ग्रिहन की तिसु आगै ही मारै करतार ॥१॥
Jo jo ninḏ karai in garihan kī ṯis āgai hī mārai karṯār. ||1||
Whoever slanders these homes, is pre-destined by the Creator Lord to be destroyed. ||1||
|
ਨਾਨਕ ਦਾਸ ਤਾ ਕੀ ਸਰਨਾਈ ਜਾ ਕੋ ਸਬਦੁ ਅਖੰਡ ਅਪਾਰ ॥੨॥੯॥੨੭॥
नानक दास ता की सरनाई जा को सबदु अखंड अपार ॥२॥९॥२७॥
Nānak ḏās ṯā kī sarnā▫ī jā ko sabaḏ akẖand apār. ||2||9||27||
Slave Nanak seeks the Sanctuary of God; the Word of His Shabad is unbreakable and infinite. ||2||9||27||

ਤਾਪ ਸੰਤਾਪ ਸਗਲੇ ਗਏ ਬਿਨਸੇ ਤੇ ਰੋਗ ॥
ताप संताप सगले गए बिनसे ते रोग ॥
Ŧāp sanṯāp sagle ga▫e binse ṯe rog.
The fever and sickness are gone, and the diseases are all dispelled.

ਪਾਰਬ੍ਰਹਮਿ ਤੂ ਬਖਸਿਆ ਸੰਤਨ ਰਸ ਭੋਗ ॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
पारब्रहमि तू बखसिआ संतन रस भोग ॥ रहाउ ॥
Pārbarahm ṯū bakẖsi▫ā sanṯan ras bẖog. Rahā▫o.
The Supreme Lord God has forgiven you, so enjoy the happiness of the Saints. ||Pause||

ਸਰਬ ਸੁਖਾ ਤੇਰੀ ਮੰਡਲੀ ਤੇਰਾ ਮਨੁ ਤਨੁ ਆਰੋਗ ॥
सरब सुखा तेरी मंडली तेरा मनु तनु आरोग ॥
Sarab sukẖā ṯerī mandlī ṯerā man ṯan ārog.
All joys have entered your world, and your mind and body are free of disease.

ਗੁਨ ਗਾਵਹੁ ਨਿਤ ਰਾਮ ਕੇ ਇਹ ਅਵਖਦ ਜੋਗ ॥੧॥
गुन गावहु नित राम के इह अवखद जोग ॥१॥
Gun gāvhu niṯ rām ke ih avkẖaḏ jog. ||1||
So chant continuously the Glorious Praises of the Lord; this is the only potent medicine. ||1||
|
ਆਇ ਬਸਹੁ ਘਰ ਦੇਸ ਮਹਿ ਇਹ ਭਲੇ ਸੰਜੋਗ ॥
आइ बसहु घर देस महि इह भले संजोग ॥
Ā▫e bashu gẖar ḏes mėh ih bẖale sanjog.
So come, and dwell in your home and native land; this is such a blessed and auspicious occasion.

ਨਾਨਕ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਸੁਪ੍ਰਸੰਨ ਭਏ ਲਹਿ ਗਏ ਬਿਓਗ ॥੨॥੧੦॥੨੮॥
नानक प्रभ सुप्रसंन भए लहि गए बिओग ॥२॥१०॥२८॥
Nānak parabẖ suparsan bẖa▫e lėh ga▫e bi▫og. ||2||10||28||
O Nanak, God is totally pleased with you; your time of separation has come to an end. ||2||10||28||

ਕਾਹੂ ਸੰਗਿ ਨ ਚਾਲਹੀ ਮਾਇਆ ਜੰਜਾਲ ॥
काहू संगि न चालही माइआ जंजाल ॥
Kāhū sang na cẖālhī mā▫i▫ā janjāl.
The entanglements of Maya do not go along with anyone.

ਊਠਿ ਸਿਧਾਰੇ ਛਤ੍ਰਪਤਿ ਸੰਤਨ ਕੈ ਖਿਆਲ ॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
ऊठि सिधारे छत्रपति संतन कै खिआल ॥ रहाउ ॥
Ūṯẖ siḏẖāre cẖẖaṯarpaṯ sanṯan kai kẖi▫āl. Rahā▫o.
Even kings and rulers must arise and depart, according to the wisdom of the Saints. ||Pause||
|
ਅਹੰਬੁਧਿ ਕਉ ਬਿਨਸਨਾ ਇਹ ਧੁਰ ਕੀ ਢਾਲ ॥
अह्मबुधि कउ बिनसना इह धुर की ढाल ॥
Ahaʼn▫buḏẖ ka▫o binsanā ih ḏẖur kī dẖāl.
Pride goes before the fall - this is a primal law.

ਬਹੁ ਜੋਨੀ ਜਨਮਹਿ ਮਰਹਿ ਬਿਖਿਆ ਬਿਕਰਾਲ ॥੧॥
बहु जोनी जनमहि मरहि बिखिआ बिकराल ॥१॥
Baho jonī janmėh marėh bikẖi▫ā bikrāl. ||1||
Those who practice corruption and sin, are born into countless incarnations, only to die again. ||1||
|
ਸਤਿ ਬਚਨ ਸਾਧੂ ਕਹਹਿ ਨਿਤ ਜਪਹਿ ਗੁਪਾਲ ॥
सति बचन साधू कहहि नित जपहि गुपाल ॥
Saṯ bacẖan sāḏẖū kahėh niṯ jāpėh gupāl.
The Holy Saints chant Words of Truth; they meditate continually on the Lord of the Universe.

ਸਿਮਰਿ ਸਿਮਰਿ ਨਾਨਕ ਤਰੇ ਹਰਿ ਕੇ ਰੰਗ ਲਾਲ ॥੨॥੧੧॥੨੯॥
सिमरि सिमरि नानक तरे हरि के रंग लाल ॥२॥११॥२९॥
Simar simar Nānak ṯare har ke rang lāl. ||2||11||29||
Meditating, meditating in remembrance, O Nanak, those who are imbued with the color of the Lord's Love are carried across. ||2||11||29||

सहज समाधि अनंद सूख पूरे गुरि दीन ॥
Sahj samāḏẖ anand sūkẖ pūre gur ḏīn.
The Perfect Guru has blessed me with celestial Samaadhi, bliss and peace.

ਸਦਾ ਸਹਾਈ ਸੰਗਿ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤ ਗੁਣ ਚੀਨ ॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
सदा सहाई संगि प्रभ अम्रित गुण चीन ॥ रहाउ ॥
Saḏā sahā▫ī sang parabẖ amriṯ guṇ cẖīn. Rahā▫o.
God is always my Helper and Companion; I contemplate His Ambrosial Virtues. ||Pause||
