ਮਿਟੇ ਅੰਧਾਰੇ ਤਜੇ ਬਿਕਾਰੇ ਠਾਕੁਰ ਸਿਉ ਮਨੁ ਮਾਨਾ
मिटे अंधारे तजे बिकारे ठाकुर सिउ मनु माना ॥
Mite anḏẖāre ṯaje bikāre ṯẖākur si▫o man mānā.
darkness has been eliminated, and I have renounced corruption and sin. My mind is reconciled with my Lord and Master.

ਪ੍ਰਭ ਜੀ ਭਾਣੀ ਭਈ ਨਿਕਾਣੀ ਸਫਲ ਜਨਮੁ ਪਰਵਾਨਾ
प्रभ जी भाणी भई निकाणी सफल जनमु परवाना ॥
Parabẖ jī bẖāṇī bẖa▫ī nikāṇī safal janam parvānā.
I have become pleasing to my Dear God, and I have become carefree. My life is fulfilled and approved.

ਭਈ ਅਮੋਲੀ ਭਾਰਾ ਤੋਲੀ ਮੁਕਤਿ ਜੁਗਤਿ ਦਰੁ ਖੋਲ੍ਹ੍ਹਾ
भई अमोली भारा तोली मुकति जुगति दरु खोल्हा ॥
Bẖa▫ī amolī bẖārā ṯolī mukaṯ jugaṯ ḏar kẖolĥā.
I have become invaluable, of tremendous weight and value. The Door, and the Path of liberation are open to me now.

ਕਹੁ ਨਾਨਕ ਹਉ ਨਿਰਭਉ ਹੋਈ ਸੋ ਪ੍ਰਭੁ ਮੇਰਾ ਓਲ੍ਹ੍ਹਾ ॥੪॥੧॥੪॥
कहु नानक हउ निरभउ होई सो प्रभु मेरा ओल्हा ॥४॥१॥४॥
Kaho Nānak ha▫o nirbẖa▫o ho▫ī so parabẖ merā olĥā. ||4||1||4||
Says Nanak, I am fearless; God has become my Shelter and Shield. ||4||1||4||

ਸੂਹੀ ਮਹਲਾ
सूही महला ५ ॥
Sūhī mėhlā 5.
Soohee, Fifth Mehl:

ਸਾਜਨੁ ਪੁਰਖੁ ਸਤਿਗੁਰੁ ਮੇਰਾ ਪੂਰਾ ਤਿਸੁ ਬਿਨੁ ਅਵਰੁ ਜਾਣਾ ਰਾਮ
साजनु पुरखु सतिगुरु मेरा पूरा तिसु बिनु अवरु न जाणा राम ॥
Sājan purakẖ saṯgur merā pūrā ṯis bin avar na jāṇā rām.
My Perfect True Guru is my Best Friend, the Primal Being. I do not know any other than Him, Lord.

ਮਾਤ ਪਿਤਾ ਭਾਈ ਸੁਤ ਬੰਧਪ ਜੀਅ ਪ੍ਰਾਣ ਮਨਿ ਭਾਣਾ ਰਾਮ
मात पिता भाई सुत बंधप जीअ प्राण मनि भाणा राम ॥
Māṯ piṯā bẖā▫ī suṯ banḏẖap jī▫a parāṇ man bẖāṇā rām.
He is my mother, father, sibling, child, relative, soul and breath of life. He is so pleasing to my mind, O Lord.

ਜੀਉ ਪਿੰਡੁ ਸਭੁ ਤਿਸ ਕਾ ਦੀਆ ਸਰਬ ਗੁਣਾ ਭਰਪੂਰੇ
जीउ पिंडु सभु तिस का दीआ सरब गुणा भरपूरे ॥
Jī▫o pind sabẖ ṯis kā ḏī▫ā sarab guṇā bẖarpūre.
My body and soul are all His blessings. He is overflowing with every quality of virtue.

ਅੰਤਰਜਾਮੀ ਸੋ ਪ੍ਰਭੁ ਮੇਰਾ ਸਰਬ ਰਹਿਆ ਭਰਪੂਰੇ
अंतरजामी सो प्रभु मेरा सरब रहिआ भरपूरे ॥
Anṯarjāmī so parabẖ merā sarab rahi▫ā bẖarpūre.
My God is the Inner-knower, the Searcher of hearts. He is totally permeating and pervading everywhere.

ਤਾ ਕੀ ਸਰਣਿ ਸਰਬ ਸੁਖ ਪਾਏ ਹੋਏ ਸਰਬ ਕਲਿਆਣਾ
ता की सरणि सरब सुख पाए होए सरब कलिआणा ॥
Ŧā kī saraṇ sarab sukẖ pā▫e ho▫e sarab kali▫āṇā.
In His Sanctuary, I receive every comfort and pleasure. I am totally, completely happy.

ਸਦਾ ਸਦਾ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਕਉ ਬਲਿਹਾਰੈ ਨਾਨਕ ਸਦ ਕੁਰਬਾਣਾ ॥੧॥
सदा सदा प्रभ कउ बलिहारै नानक सद कुरबाणा ॥१॥
Saḏā saḏā parabẖ ka▫o balihārai Nānak saḏ kurbāṇā. ||1||
Forever and ever, Nanak is a sacrifice to God, forever, a devoted sacrifice. ||1||

ਐਸਾ ਗੁਰੁ ਵਡਭਾਗੀ ਪਾਈਐ ਜਿਤੁ ਮਿਲਿਐ ਪ੍ਰਭੁ ਜਾਪੈ ਰਾਮ
ऐसा गुरु वडभागी पाईऐ जितु मिलिऐ प्रभु जापै राम ॥
Aisā gur vadbẖāgī pā▫ī▫ai jiṯ mili▫ai parabẖ jāpai rām.
By great good fortune, one finds such a Guru, meeting whom, the Lord God is known.

ਜਨਮ ਜਨਮ ਕੇ ਕਿਲਵਿਖ ਉਤਰਹਿ ਹਰਿ ਸੰਤ ਧੂੜੀ ਨਿਤ ਨਾਪੈ ਰਾਮ
जनम जनम के किलविख उतरहि हरि संत धूड़ी नित नापै राम ॥
Janam janam ke kilvikẖ uṯrėh har sanṯ ḏẖūṛī niṯ nāpai rām.
The sins of countless lifetimes are erased, bathing continually in the dust of the feet of God's Saints.

ਹਰਿ ਧੂੜੀ ਨਾਈਐ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਧਿਆਈਐ ਬਾਹੁੜਿ ਜੋਨਿ ਆਈਐ
हरि धूड़ी नाईऐ प्रभू धिआईऐ बाहुड़ि जोनि न आईऐ ॥
Har ḏẖūṛī nā▫ī▫ai parabẖū ḏẖi▫ā▫ī▫ai bāhuṛ jon na ā▫ī▫ai.
Bathing in the dust of the feet of the Lord, and meditating on God, you shall not have to enter into the womb of reincarnation again.

ਗੁਰ ਚਰਣੀ ਲਾਗੇ ਭ੍ਰਮ ਭਉ ਭਾਗੇ ਮਨਿ ਚਿੰਦਿਆ ਫਲੁ ਪਾਈਐ
गुर चरणी लागे भ्रम भउ भागे मनि चिंदिआ फलु पाईऐ ॥
Gur cẖarṇī lāge bẖaram bẖa▫o bẖāge man cẖinḏi▫ā fal pā▫ī▫ai.
Grasping hold of the Guru's Feet, doubt and fear are dispelled, and you receive the fruits of your mind's desires.

ਹਰਿ ਗੁਣ ਨਿਤ ਗਾਏ ਨਾਮੁ ਧਿਆਏ ਫਿਰਿ ਸੋਗੁ ਨਾਹੀ ਸੰਤਾਪੈ
हरि गुण नित गाए नामु धिआए फिरि सोगु नाही संतापै ॥
Har guṇ niṯ gā▫e nām ḏẖi▫ā▫e fir sog nāhī sanṯāpai.
Continually singing the Glorious Praises of the Lord, and meditating on the Naam, the Name of the Lord, you shall no longer suffer in pain and sorrow.

ਨਾਨਕ ਸੋ ਪ੍ਰਭੁ ਜੀਅ ਕਾ ਦਾਤਾ ਪੂਰਾ ਜਿਸੁ ਪਰਤਾਪੈ ॥੨॥
नानक सो प्रभु जीअ का दाता पूरा जिसु परतापै ॥२॥
Nānak so parabẖ jī▫a kā ḏāṯā pūrā jis parṯāpai. ||2||
O Nanak, God is the Giver of all souls; His radiant glory is perfect! ||2||

ਹਰਿ ਹਰੇ ਹਰਿ ਗੁਣ ਨਿਧੇ ਹਰਿ ਸੰਤਨ ਕੈ ਵਸਿ ਆਏ ਰਾਮ
हरि हरे हरि गुण निधे हरि संतन कै वसि आए राम ॥
Har hare har guṇ niḏẖe har sanṯan kai vas ā▫e rām.
The Lord, Har, Har, is the treasure of virtue; the Lord is under the power of His Saints.

ਸੰਤ ਚਰਣ ਗੁਰ ਸੇਵਾ ਲਾਗੇ ਤਿਨੀ ਪਰਮ ਪਦ ਪਾਏ ਰਾਮ
संत चरण गुर सेवा लागे तिनी परम पद पाए राम ॥
Sanṯ cẖaraṇ gur sevā lāge ṯinī param paḏ pā▫e rām.
Those who are dedicated to the feet of the Saints, and to serving the Guru, obtain the supreme status, O Lord.

ਪਰਮ ਪਦੁ ਪਾਇਆ ਆਪੁ ਮਿਟਾਇਆ ਹਰਿ ਪੂਰਨ ਕਿਰਪਾ ਧਾਰੀ
परम पदु पाइआ आपु मिटाइआ हरि पूरन किरपा धारी ॥
Param paḏ pā▫i▫ā āp mitā▫i▫ā har pūran kirpā ḏẖārī.
They obtain the supreme status, and eradicate self-conceit; the Perfect Lord showers His Grace upon them.

ਸਫਲ ਜਨਮੁ ਹੋਆ ਭਉ ਭਾਗਾ ਹਰਿ ਭੇਟਿਆ ਏਕੁ ਮੁਰਾਰੀ
सफल जनमु होआ भउ भागा हरि भेटिआ एकु मुरारी ॥
Safal janam ho▫ā bẖa▫o bẖāgā har bẖeti▫ā ek murārī.
Their lives are fruitful, their fears are dispelled, and they meet the One Lord, the Destroyer of ego.

ਜਿਸ ਕਾ ਸਾ ਤਿਨ ਹੀ ਮੇਲਿ ਲੀਆ ਜੋਤੀ ਜੋਤਿ ਸਮਾਇਆ
जिस का सा तिन ही मेलि लीआ जोती जोति समाइआ ॥
Jis kā sā ṯin hī mel lī▫ā joṯī joṯ samā▫i▫ā.
He blends into the One, to whom he belongs; his light merges into the Light.

ਨਾਨਕ ਨਾਮੁ ਨਿਰੰਜਨ ਜਪੀਐ ਮਿਲਿ ਸਤਿਗੁਰ ਸੁਖੁ ਪਾਇਆ ॥੩॥
नानक नामु निरंजन जपीऐ मिलि सतिगुर सुखु पाइआ ॥३॥
Nānak nām niranjan japī▫ai mil saṯgur sukẖ pā▫i▫ā. ||3||
O Nanak, chant the Naam, the Name of the Immaculate Lord; meeting the True Guru, peace is obtained. ||3||

ਗਾਉ ਮੰਗਲੋ ਨਿਤ ਹਰਿ ਜਨਹੁ ਪੁੰਨੀ ਇਛ ਸਬਾਈ ਰਾਮ
गाउ मंगलो नित हरि जनहु पुंनी इछ सबाई राम ॥
Gā▫o manglo niṯ har janhu punnī icẖẖ sabā▫ī rām.
Sing continually the songs of joy, O humble beings of the Lord; all your desires shall be fulfilled.

ਰੰਗਿ ਰਤੇ ਅਪੁਨੇ ਸੁਆਮੀ ਸੇਤੀ ਮਰੈ ਆਵੈ ਜਾਈ ਰਾਮ
रंगि रते अपुने सुआमी सेती मरै न आवै जाई राम ॥
Rang raṯe apune su▫āmī seṯī marai na āvai jā▫ī rām.
Those who are imbued with the Love of their Lord and Master do not die, or come or go in reincarnation.

ਅਬਿਨਾਸੀ ਪਾਇਆ ਨਾਮੁ ਧਿਆਇਆ ਸਗਲ ਮਨੋਰਥ ਪਾਏ
अबिनासी पाइआ नामु धिआइआ सगल मनोरथ पाए ॥
Abẖināsī pā▫i▫ā nām ḏẖi▫ā▫i▫ā sagal manorath pā▫e.
The Imperishable Lord is obtained, meditating on the Naam, and all one's wishes are fulfilled.

ਸਾਂਤਿ ਸਹਜ ਆਨੰਦ ਘਨੇਰੇ ਗੁਰ ਚਰਣੀ ਮਨੁ ਲਾਏ
सांति सहज आनंद घनेरे गुर चरणी मनु लाए ॥
Sāʼnṯ sahj ānanḏ gẖanere gur cẖarṇī man lā▫e.
Peace, poise, and all ecstasy are obtained, attaching one's mind to the Guru's feet.

ਪੂਰਿ ਰਹਿਆ ਘਟਿ ਘਟਿ ਅਬਿਨਾਸੀ ਥਾਨ ਥਨੰਤਰਿ ਸਾਈ
पूरि रहिआ घटि घटि अबिनासी थान थनंतरि साई ॥
Pūr rahi▫ā gẖat gẖat abẖināsī thān thananṯar sā▫ī.
The Imperishable Lord is permeating and pervading each and every heart; He is in all places and interspaces.

ਕਹੁ ਨਾਨਕ ਕਾਰਜ ਸਗਲੇ ਪੂਰੇ ਗੁਰ ਚਰਣੀ ਮਨੁ ਲਾਈ ॥੪॥੨॥੫॥
कहु नानक कारज सगले पूरे गुर चरणी मनु लाई ॥४॥२॥५॥
Kaho Nānak kāraj sagle pūre gur cẖarṇī man lā▫ī. ||4||2||5||
Says Nanak, all affairs are perfectly resolved, focusing one's mind on the Guru's Feet. ||4||2||5||

ਸੂਹੀ ਮਹਲਾ
सूही महला ५ ॥
Sūhī mėhlā 5.
Soohee, Fifth Mehl:

ਕਰਿ ਕਿਰਪਾ ਮੇਰੇ ਪ੍ਰੀਤਮ ਸੁਆਮੀ ਨੇਤ੍ਰ ਦੇਖਹਿ ਦਰਸੁ ਤੇਰਾ ਰਾਮ
करि किरपा मेरे प्रीतम सुआमी नेत्र देखहि दरसु तेरा राम ॥
Kar kirpā mere parīṯam su▫āmī neṯar ḏekẖėh ḏaras ṯerā rām.
Be Merciful, O my Beloved Lord and Master, that I may behold the Blessed Vision of Your Darshan with my eyes.

ਲਾਖ ਜਿਹਵਾ ਦੇਹੁ ਮੇਰੇ ਪਿਆਰੇ ਮੁਖੁ ਹਰਿ ਆਰਾਧੇ ਮੇਰਾ ਰਾਮ
लाख जिहवा देहु मेरे पिआरे मुखु हरि आराधे मेरा राम ॥
Lākẖ jihvā ḏeh mere pi▫āre mukẖ har ārāḏẖe merā rām.
Please bless me, O my Beloved, with thousands of tongues, to worship and adore You with my mouth, O Lord.

ਹਰਿ ਆਰਾਧੇ ਜਮ ਪੰਥੁ ਸਾਧੇ ਦੂਖੁ ਵਿਆਪੈ ਕੋਈ
हरि आराधे जम पंथु साधे दूखु न विआपै कोई ॥
Har ārāḏẖe jam panth sāḏẖe ḏūkẖ na vi▫āpai ko▫ī.
Worshipping the Lord in adoration, the Path of Death is overcome, and no pain or suffering will afflict you.

ਜਲਿ ਥਲਿ ਮਹੀਅਲਿ ਪੂਰਨ ਸੁਆਮੀ ਜਤ ਦੇਖਾ ਤਤ ਸੋਈ
जलि थलि महीअलि पूरन सुआमी जत देखा तत सोई ॥
Jal thal mahī▫al pūran su▫āmī jaṯ ḏekẖā ṯaṯ so▫ī.
The Lord and Master is pervading and permeating the water, the land and the sky; wherever I look, there He is.

ਭਰਮ ਮੋਹ ਬਿਕਾਰ ਨਾਠੇ ਪ੍ਰਭੁ ਨੇਰ ਹੂ ਤੇ ਨੇਰਾ
भरम मोह बिकार नाठे प्रभु नेर हू ते नेरा ॥
Bẖaram moh bikār nāṯẖe parabẖ ner hū ṯe nerā.
Doubt, attachment and corruption are gone. God is the nearest of the near.
