ਨਾਨਕ ਰੰਗਿ ਰਵੈ ਰੰਗਿ ਰਾਤੀ ਜਿਨਿ ਹਰਿ ਸੇਤੀ ਚਿਤੁ ਲਾਇਆ ॥੩॥
नानक रंगि रवै रंगि राती जिनि हरि सेती चितु लाइआ ॥३॥
Naanak rang ravæ rang raaṫee jin har séṫee chiṫ laa▫i▫aa. ||3||
O Nanak! She revels in joy, imbued with His Love; she focuses her consciousness on the Lord. ||3||

ਕਾਮਣਿ ਮਨਿ ਸੋਹਿਲੜਾ ਸਾਜਨ ਮਿਲੇ ਪਿਆਰੇ ਰਾਮ ॥
कामणि मनि सोहिलड़ा साजन मिले पिआरे राम ॥
Kaamaṇ man sohilṛaa saajan milé pi▫aaré raam.
The mind of the soul bride is very happy, when she meets her Friend, her Beloved Lord.

ਗੁਰਮਤੀ ਮਨੁ ਨਿਰਮਲੁ ਹੋਆ ਹਰਿ ਰਾਖਿਆ ਉਰਿ ਧਾਰੇ ਰਾਮ ॥
गुरमती मनु निरमलु होआ हरि राखिआ उरि धारे राम ॥
Gurmaṫee man nirmal ho▫aa har raakʰi▫aa ur ḋʰaaré raam.
Through the Guru’s Teachings, her mind becomes immaculate; she enshrines the Lord within her heart.

ਹਰਿ ਰਾਖਿਆ ਉਰਿ ਧਾਰੇ ਅਪਨਾ ਕਾਰਜੁ ਸਵਾਰੇ ਗੁਰਮਤੀ ਹਰਿ ਜਾਤਾ ॥
हरि राखिआ उरि धारे अपना कारजु सवारे गुरमती हरि जाता ॥
Har raakʰi▫aa ur ḋʰaaré apnaa kaaraj savaaré gurmaṫee har jaaṫaa.
Keeping the Lord enshrined within her heart, her affairs are arranged and resolved; through the Guru’s Teachings, she knows her Lord.

ਪ੍ਰੀਤਮਿ ਮੋਹਿ ਲਇਆ ਮਨੁ ਮੇਰਾ ਪਾਇਆ ਕਰਮ ਬਿਧਾਤਾ ॥
प्रीतमि मोहि लइआ मनु मेरा पाइआ करम बिधाता ॥
Pareeṫam mohi la▫i▫aa man méraa paa▫i▫aa karam biḋʰaaṫaa.
My Beloved has enticed my mind; I have obtained the Lord, the Architect of Destiny.

ਸਤਿਗੁਰੁ ਸੇਵਿ ਸਦਾ ਸੁਖੁ ਪਾਇਆ ਹਰਿ ਵਸਿਆ ਮੰਨਿ ਮੁਰਾਰੇ ॥
सतिगुरु सेवि सदा सुखु पाइआ हरि वसिआ मंनि मुरारे ॥
Saṫgur sév saḋaa sukʰ paa▫i▫aa har vasi▫aa man muraaré.
Serving the True Guru, she finds lasting peace and the Lord, the Destroyer of pride, dwells in her mind.

ਨਾਨਕ ਮੇਲਿ ਲਈ ਗੁਰਿ ਅਪੁਨੈ ਗੁਰ ਕੈ ਸਬਦਿ ਸਵਾਰੇ ॥੪॥੫॥੬॥
नानक मेलि लई गुरि अपुनै गुर कै सबदि सवारे ॥४॥५॥६॥
Naanak mél la▫ee gur apunæ gur kæ sabaḋ savaaré. ||4||5||6||
O Nanak! She merges with her Guru, embellished and adorned with the Word of the Guru’s Shabad. ||4||5||6||

सोहिलड़ा हरि राम नामु गुर सबदी वीचारे राम ॥
Sohilṛaa har raam naam gur sabḋee veechaaré raam.
The song of joy is the Naam, the Name of the Lord; contemplate it, through the Word of the Guru’s Shabad.

ਹਰਿ ਮਨੁ ਤਨੋ ਗੁਰਮੁਖਿ ਭੀਜੈ ਰਾਮ ਨਾਮੁ ਪਿਆਰੇ ਰਾਮ ॥
हरि मनु तनो गुरमुखि भीजै राम नामु पिआरे राम ॥
Har man ṫano gurmukʰ bʰeejæ raam naam pi▫aaré raam.
The mind and body of the Gurmukh is drenched with the Lord, the Beloved Lord.

ਰਾਮ ਨਾਮੁ ਪਿਆਰੇ ਸਭਿ ਕੁਲ ਉਧਾਰੇ ਰਾਮ ਨਾਮੁ ਮੁਖਿ ਬਾਣੀ ॥
राम नामु पिआरे सभि कुल उधारे राम नामु मुखि बाणी ॥
Raam naam pi▫aaré sabʰ kul uḋʰaaré raam naam mukʰ baṇee.
Through the Name of the Beloved Lord, all one’s ancestors and generations are redeemed; chant the Lord’s Name with your mouth.

ਆਵਣ ਜਾਣ ਰਹੇ ਸੁਖੁ ਪਾਇਆ ਘਰਿ ਅਨਹਦ ਸੁਰਤਿ ਸਮਾਣੀ ॥
आवण जाण रहे सुखु पाइआ घरि अनहद सुरति समाणी ॥
Aavaṇ jaaṇ rahé sukʰ paa▫i▫aa gʰar anhaḋ suraṫ samaaṇee.
Comings and goings cease, peace is obtained, and in the home of the heart, one’s awareness is absorbed in the unstruck melody of the sound current.

ਹਰਿ ਹਰਿ ਏਕੋ ਪਾਇਆ ਹਰਿ ਪ੍ਰਭੁ ਨਾਨਕ ਕਿਰਪਾ ਧਾਰੇ ॥
हरि हरि एको पाइआ हरि प्रभु नानक किरपा धारे ॥
Har har éko paa▫i▫aa har parabʰ Naanak kirpaa ḋʰaaré.
I have found the One and only Lord, Har, Har. The Lord God has showered His Mercy upon Nanak.

ਹਮ ਨੀਵੀ ਪ੍ਰਭੁ ਅਤਿ ਊਚਾ ਕਿਉ ਕਰਿ ਮਿਲਿਆ ਜਾਏ ਰਾਮ ॥
हम नीवी प्रभु अति ऊचा किउ करि मिलिआ जाए राम ॥
Ham neevee parabʰ aṫ oochaa ki▫o kar mili▫aa jaa▫é raam.
I am lowly, and God is lofty and exalted. How will I ever meet Him?

ਗੁਰਿ ਮੇਲੀ ਬਹੁ ਕਿਰਪਾ ਧਾਰੀ ਹਰਿ ਕੈ ਸਬਦਿ ਸੁਭਾਏ ਰਾਮ ॥
गुरि मेली बहु किरपा धारी हरि कै सबदि सुभाए राम ॥
Gur mélee baho kirpaa ḋʰaaree har kæ sabaḋ subʰaa▫é raam.
The Guru has very mercifully blessed me and united me with the Lord; through the Shabad, the Word of the Lord, I am lovingly embellished.

ਮਿਲੁ ਸਬਦਿ ਸੁਭਾਏ ਆਪੁ ਗਵਾਏ ਰੰਗ ਸਿਉ ਰਲੀਆ ਮਾਣੇ ॥
मिलु सबदि सुभाए आपु गवाए रंग सिउ रलीआ माणे ॥
Mil sabaḋ subʰaa▫é aap gavaa▫é rang si▫o ralee▫aa maaṇé.
Merging in the Word of the Shabad, I am lovingly embellished; my ego is eradicated, and I revel in joyous love.

ਸੇਜ ਸੁਖਾਲੀ ਜਾ ਪ੍ਰਭੁ ਭਾਇਆ ਹਰਿ ਹਰਿ ਨਾਮਿ ਸਮਾਣੇ ॥
सेज सुखाली जा प्रभु भाइआ हरि हरि नामि समाणे ॥
Séj sukʰaalee jaa parabʰ bʰaa▫i▫aa har har naam samaaṇé.
My bed is so comfortable, since I became pleasing to God; I am absorbed in the Name of the Lord, Har, Har.

ਨਾਨਕ ਸੋਹਾਗਣਿ ਸਾ ਵਡਭਾਗੀ ਜੇ ਚਲੈ ਸਤਿਗੁਰ ਭਾਏ ॥
नानक सोहागणि सा वडभागी जे चलै सतिगुर भाए ॥
Naanak sohagaṇ saa vadbʰaagee jé chalæ saṫgur bʰaa▫é.
O Nanak! That soul bride is so very blessed, who walks in harmony with the True Guru’s Will.

ਹਮ ਨੀਵੀ ਪ੍ਰਭੁ ਅਤਿ ਊਚਾ ਕਿਉ ਕਰਿ ਮਿਲਿਆ ਜਾਏ ਰਾਮ ॥੨॥
हम नीवी प्रभु अति ऊचा किउ करि मिलिआ जाए राम ॥२॥
Ham neevee parabʰ aṫ oochaa ki▫o kar mili▫aa jaa▫é raam. ||2||
I am lowly, and God is lofty and exalted. How will I ever meet Him? ||2||

ਘਟਿ ਘਟੇ ਸਭਨਾ ਵਿਚਿ ਏਕੋ ਏਕੋ ਰਾਮ ਭਤਾਰੋ ਰਾਮ ॥
घटि घटे सभना विचि एको एको राम भतारो राम ॥
Gʰat gʰaté sabʰnaa vich éko éko raam bʰaṫaaro raam.
In each and every heart, and deep within all, is the One Lord, the Husband Lord of all.

ਇਕਨਾ ਪ੍ਰਭੁ ਦੂਰਿ ਵਸੈ ਇਕਨਾ ਮਨਿ ਆਧਾਰੋ ਰਾਮ ॥
इकना प्रभु दूरि वसै इकना मनि आधारो राम ॥
Iknaa parabʰ ḋoor vasæ iknaa man aaḋʰaaro raam.
God dwells far away from some, while for others, He is the Support of the mind.
|
ਇਕਨਾ ਮਨ ਆਧਾਰੋ ਸਿਰਜਣਹਾਰੋ ਵਡਭਾਗੀ ਗੁਰੁ ਪਾਇਆ ॥
इकना मन आधारो सिरजणहारो वडभागी गुरु पाइआ ॥
Iknaa man aaḋʰaaro sirjaṇhaaro vadbʰaagee gur paa▫i▫aa.
For some, the Creator Lord is the Support of the mind; He is obtained by great good fortune, through the Guru.

ਘਟਿ ਘਟਿ ਹਰਿ ਪ੍ਰਭੁ ਏਕੋ ਸੁਆਮੀ ਗੁਰਮੁਖਿ ਅਲਖੁ ਲਖਾਇਆ ॥
घटि घटि हरि प्रभु एको सुआमी गुरमुखि अलखु लखाइआ ॥
Gʰat gʰat har parabʰ éko su▫aamee gurmukʰ alakʰ lakʰaa▫i▫aa.
The One Lord God, the Master, is in each and every heart; the Gurmukh sees the unseen.

ਸਹਜੇ ਅਨਦੁ ਹੋਆ ਮਨੁ ਮਾਨਿਆ ਨਾਨਕ ਬ੍ਰਹਮ ਬੀਚਾਰੋ ॥
सहजे अनदु होआ मनु मानिआ नानक ब्रहम बीचारो ॥
Sėhjé anaḋ ho▫aa man maani▫aa Naanak barahm beechaaro.
The mind is satisfied, in natural ecstasy, O Nanak! Contemplating God.

ਘਟਿ ਘਟੇ ਸਭਨਾ ਵਿਚਿ ਏਕੋ ਏਕੋ ਰਾਮ ਭਤਾਰੋ ਰਾਮ ॥੩॥

In each and every heart, and deep within all, is the One Lord, the Husband Lord of all. ||3||

गुरु सेवनि सतिगुरु दाता हरि हरि नामि समाइआ राम ॥
Gur sévan saṫgur ḋaaṫaa har har naam samaa▫i▫aa raam.
Those who serve the Guru, the True Guru, the Giver, merge in the Name of the Lord, Har, Har.

ਹਰਿ ਧੂੜਿ ਦੇਵਹੁ ਮੈ ਪੂਰੇ ਗੁਰ ਕੀ ਹਮ ਪਾਪੀ ਮੁਕਤੁ ਕਰਾਇਆ ਰਾਮ ॥
हरि धूड़ि देवहु मै पूरे गुर की हम पापी मुकतु कराइआ राम ॥
Har ḋʰooṛ ḋévhu mæ pooré gur kee ham paapee mukaṫ karaa▫i▫aa raam.
O Lord, please bless me with the dust of the feet of the Perfect Guru, so that I, a sinner, may be liberated.

ਪਾਪੀ ਮੁਕਤੁ ਕਰਾਏ ਆਪੁ ਗਵਾਏ ਨਿਜ ਘਰਿ ਪਾਇਆ ਵਾਸਾ ॥
पापी मुकतु कराए आपु गवाए निज घरि पाइआ वासा ॥
Paapee mukaṫ karaa▫é aap gavaa▫é nij gʰar paa▫i▫aa vaasaa.
Even sinners are liberated, by eradicating their egotism; they obtain a home within their own heart.
|
ਬਿਬੇਕ ਬੁਧੀ ਸੁਖਿ ਰੈਣਿ ਵਿਹਾਣੀ ਗੁਰਮਤਿ ਨਾਮਿ ਪ੍ਰਗਾਸਾ ॥
बिबेक बुधी सुखि रैणि विहाणी गुरमति नामि प्रगासा ॥
Bibék buḋʰee sukʰ ræṇ vihaaṇee gurmaṫ naam pargaasaa.
With clear understanding, the night of their lives passes peacefully; through the Guru’s Teachings, the Naam is revealed to them.

ਹਰਿ ਹਰਿ ਅਨਦੁ ਭਇਆ ਦਿਨੁ ਰਾਤੀ ਨਾਨਕ ਹਰਿ ਮੀਠ ਲਗਾਏ ॥
हरि हरि अनदु भइआ दिनु राती नानक हरि मीठ लगाए ॥
Har har anaḋ bʰa▫i▫aa ḋin raaṫee Naanak har meetʰ lagaa▫é.
Through the Lord, Har, Har, I am in ecstasy, day and night. O Nanak! The Lord seems sweet.

ਗੁਰੁ ਸੇਵਨਿ ਸਤਿਗੁਰੁ ਦਾਤਾ ਹਰਿ ਹਰਿ ਨਾਮਿ ਸਮਾਏ ॥੪॥੬॥੭॥੫॥੭॥੧੨॥
गुरु सेवनि सतिगुरु दाता हरि हरि नामि समाए ॥४॥६॥७॥५॥७॥१२॥
Gur sévan saṫgur ḋaaṫaa har har naam samaa▫é. ||4||6||7||5||7||12||
Those who serve the Guru, the True Guru, the Giver, merge in the Name of the Lord, Har, Har. ||4||6||7||5||7||12||
