ਆਪੇ ਹੀ ਸੂਤਧਾਰੁ ਹੈ ਪਿਆਰਾ ਸੂਤੁ ਖਿੰਚੇ ਢਹਿ ਢੇਰੀ ਹੋਇ ॥੧॥
आपे ही सूतधारु है पिआरा सूतु खिंचे ढहि ढेरी होइ ॥१॥
Āpe hī sūṯ▫ḏẖār hai pi▫ārā sūṯ kẖincẖe dẖėh dẖerī ho▫e. ||1||
He holds the thread, and when He withdraws the thread, the beads scatter into heaps. ||1||

ਮੇਰੇ ਮਨ ਮੈ ਹਰਿ ਬਿਨੁ ਅਵਰੁ ਕੋਇ
मेरे मन मै हरि बिनु अवरु न कोइ ॥
Mere man mai har bin avar na ko▫e.
O my mind, there is no other than the Lord for me.

ਸਤਿਗੁਰ ਵਿਚਿ ਨਾਮੁ ਨਿਧਾਨੁ ਹੈ ਪਿਆਰਾ ਕਰਿ ਦਇਆ ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤੁ ਮੁਖਿ ਚੋਇ ਰਹਾਉ
सतिगुर विचि नामु निधानु है पिआरा करि दइआ अम्रितु मुखि चोइ ॥ रहाउ ॥
Saṯgur vicẖ nām niḏẖān hai pi▫ārā kar ḏa▫i▫ā amriṯ mukẖ cẖo▫e. Rahā▫o.
The treasure of the Beloved Naam is within the True Guru; in His Mercy, he pours the Ambrosial Nectar into my mouth. ||Pause||

ਆਪੇ ਜਲ ਥਲਿ ਸਭਤੁ ਹੈ ਪਿਆਰਾ ਪ੍ਰਭੁ ਆਪੇ ਕਰੇ ਸੁ ਹੋਇ
आपे जल थलि सभतु है पिआरा प्रभु आपे करे सु होइ ॥
Āpe jal thal sabẖaṯ hai pi▫ārā parabẖ āpe kare so ho▫e.
The Beloved Himself is in all the oceans and lands; whatever God does, comes to pass.

ਸਭਨਾ ਰਿਜਕੁ ਸਮਾਹਦਾ ਪਿਆਰਾ ਦੂਜਾ ਅਵਰੁ ਕੋਇ
सभना रिजकु समाहदा पिआरा दूजा अवरु न कोइ ॥
Sabẖnā rijak samāhaḏā pi▫ārā ḏūjā avar na ko▫e.
The Beloved brings nourishment to all; there is no other than Him.

ਆਪੇ ਖੇਲ ਖੇਲਾਇਦਾ ਪਿਆਰਾ ਆਪੇ ਕਰੇ ਸੁ ਹੋਇ ॥੨॥
आपे खेल खेलाइदा पिआरा आपे करे सु होइ ॥२॥
Āpe kẖel kẖelā▫iḏā pi▫ārā āpe kare so ho▫e. ||2||
The Beloved Himself plays, and whatever He Himself does, comes to pass. ||2||

ਆਪੇ ਹੀ ਆਪਿ ਨਿਰਮਲਾ ਪਿਆਰਾ ਆਪੇ ਨਿਰਮਲ ਸੋਇ
आपे ही आपि निरमला पिआरा आपे निरमल सोइ ॥
Āpe hī āp nirmalā pi▫ārā āpe nirmal so▫e.
The Beloved Himself, all by Himself, is immaculate and pure; He Himself is immaculate and pure.

ਆਪੇ ਕੀਮਤਿ ਪਾਇਦਾ ਪਿਆਰਾ ਆਪੇ ਕਰੇ ਸੁ ਹੋਇ
आपे कीमति पाइदा पिआरा आपे करे सु होइ ॥
Āpe kīmaṯ pā▫iḏā pi▫ārā āpe kare so ho▫e.
The Beloved Himself determines the value of all; whatever He does comes to pass.

ਆਪੇ ਅਲਖੁ ਲਖੀਐ ਪਿਆਰਾ ਆਪਿ ਲਖਾਵੈ ਸੋਇ ॥੩॥
आपे अलखु न लखीऐ पिआरा आपि लखावै सोइ ॥३॥
Āpe alakẖ na lakẖī▫ai pi▫ārā āp lakẖāvai so▫e. ||3||
The Beloved Himself is unseen - He cannot be seen; He Himself causes us to see. ||3||

ਆਪੇ ਗਹਿਰ ਗੰਭੀਰੁ ਹੈ ਪਿਆਰਾ ਤਿਸੁ ਜੇਵਡੁ ਅਵਰੁ ਕੋਇ
आपे गहिर ग्मभीरु है पिआरा तिसु जेवडु अवरु न कोइ ॥
Āpe gahir gambẖīr hai pi▫ārā ṯis jevad avar na ko▫e.
The Beloved Himself is deep and profound and unfathomable; there is no other as great as He.

ਸਭਿ ਘਟ ਆਪੇ ਭੋਗਵੈ ਪਿਆਰਾ ਵਿਚਿ ਨਾਰੀ ਪੁਰਖ ਸਭੁ ਸੋਇ
सभि घट आपे भोगवै पिआरा विचि नारी पुरख सभु सोइ ॥
Sabẖ gẖat āpe bẖogvai pi▫ārā vicẖ nārī purakẖ sabẖ so▫e.
The Beloved Himself enjoys every heart; He is contained within every woman and man.

ਨਾਨਕ ਗੁਪਤੁ ਵਰਤਦਾ ਪਿਆਰਾ ਗੁਰਮੁਖਿ ਪਰਗਟੁ ਹੋਇ ॥੪॥੨॥
नानक गुपतु वरतदा पिआरा गुरमुखि परगटु होइ ॥४॥२॥
Nānak gupaṯ varaṯḏā pi▫ārā gurmukẖ pargat ho▫e. ||4||2||
O Nanak, the Beloved is pervading everywhere, but He is hidden; through the Guru, He is revealed. ||4||2||

ਸੋਰਠਿ ਮਹਲਾ
सोरठि महला ४ ॥
Soraṯẖ mėhlā 4.
Sorat'h, Fourth Mehl:

ਆਪੇ ਹੀ ਸਭੁ ਆਪਿ ਹੈ ਪਿਆਰਾ ਆਪੇ ਥਾਪਿ ਉਥਾਪੈ
आपे ही सभु आपि है पिआरा आपे थापि उथापै ॥
Āpe hī sabẖ āp hai pi▫ārā āpe thāp uthāpai.
He Himself, the Beloved, is Himself all-in-all; He Himself establishes and disestablishes.

ਆਪੇ ਵੇਖਿ ਵਿਗਸਦਾ ਪਿਆਰਾ ਕਰਿ ਚੋਜ ਵੇਖੈ ਪ੍ਰਭੁ ਆਪੈ
आपे वेखि विगसदा पिआरा करि चोज वेखै प्रभु आपै ॥
Āpe vekẖ vigsaḏā pi▫ārā kar cẖoj vekẖai parabẖ āpai.
The Beloved Himself beholds, and rejoices; God Himself works wonders, and beholds them.

ਆਪੇ ਵਣਿ ਤਿਣਿ ਸਭਤੁ ਹੈ ਪਿਆਰਾ ਆਪੇ ਗੁਰਮੁਖਿ ਜਾਪੈ ॥੧॥
आपे वणि तिणि सभतु है पिआरा आपे गुरमुखि जापै ॥१॥
Āpe vaṇ ṯiṇ sabẖaṯ hai pi▫ārā āpe gurmukẖ jāpai. ||1||
The Beloved Himself is contained in all the woods and meadows; as Gurmukh, He reveals Himself. ||1||

ਜਪਿ ਮਨ ਹਰਿ ਹਰਿ ਨਾਮ ਰਸਿ ਧ੍ਰਾਪੈ
जपि मन हरि हरि नाम रसि ध्रापै ॥
Jap man har har nām ras ḏẖarāpai.
Meditate, O mind, on the Lord, Har, Har; through the sublime essence of Lord's Name, you shall be satisfied.

ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤ ਨਾਮੁ ਮਹਾ ਰਸੁ ਮੀਠਾ ਗੁਰ ਸਬਦੀ ਚਖਿ ਜਾਪੈ ਰਹਾਉ
अम्रित नामु महा रसु मीठा गुर सबदी चखि जापै ॥ रहाउ ॥
Amriṯ nām mahā ras mīṯẖā gur sabḏī cẖakẖ jāpai. Rahā▫o.
The Ambrosial Nectar of the Naam, is the sweetest juice; through the Word of the Guru's Shabad, its taste is revealed. ||Pause||

ਆਪੇ ਤੀਰਥੁ ਤੁਲਹੜਾ ਪਿਆਰਾ ਆਪਿ ਤਰੈ ਪ੍ਰਭੁ ਆਪੈ
आपे तीरथु तुलहड़ा पिआरा आपि तरै प्रभु आपै ॥
Āpe ṯirath ṯulhaṛā pi▫ārā āp ṯarai parabẖ āpai.
The Beloved is Himself the place of pilgrimage and the raft; God Himself ferries Himself across.

ਆਪੇ ਜਾਲੁ ਵਤਾਇਦਾ ਪਿਆਰਾ ਸਭੁ ਜਗੁ ਮਛੁਲੀ ਹਰਿ ਆਪੈ
आपे जालु वताइदा पिआरा सभु जगु मछुली हरि आपै ॥
Āpe jāl vaṯā▫iḏā pi▫ārā sabẖ jag macẖẖulī har āpai.
The Beloved Himself casts the net over all the world; the Lord Himself is the fish.

ਆਪਿ ਅਭੁਲੁ ਭੁਲਈ ਪਿਆਰਾ ਅਵਰੁ ਦੂਜਾ ਜਾਪੈ ॥੨॥
आपि अभुलु न भुलई पिआरा अवरु न दूजा जापै ॥२॥
Āp abẖul na bẖul▫ī pi▫ārā avar na ḏūjā jāpai. ||2||
The Beloved Himself is infallible; He makes no mistakes. There is no other like Him to be seen. ||2||

ਆਪੇ ਸਿੰਙੀ ਨਾਦੁ ਹੈ ਪਿਆਰਾ ਧੁਨਿ ਆਪਿ ਵਜਾਏ ਆਪੈ
आपे सिंङी नादु है पिआरा धुनि आपि वजाए आपै ॥
Āpe sińī nāḏ hai pi▫ārā ḏẖun āp vajā▫e āpai.
The Beloved Himself is the Yogi's horn, and the sound current of the Naad; He Himself plays the tune.

ਆਪੇ ਜੋਗੀ ਪੁਰਖੁ ਹੈ ਪਿਆਰਾ ਆਪੇ ਹੀ ਤਪੁ ਤਾਪੈ
आपे जोगी पुरखु है पिआरा आपे ही तपु तापै ॥
Āpe jogī purakẖ hai pi▫ārā āpe hī ṯap ṯāpai.
The Beloved Himself is the Yogi, the Primal Being; He Himself practices intense meditation.

ਆਪੇ ਸਤਿਗੁਰੁ ਆਪਿ ਹੈ ਚੇਲਾ ਉਪਦੇਸੁ ਕਰੈ ਪ੍ਰਭੁ ਆਪੈ ॥੩॥
आपे सतिगुरु आपि है चेला उपदेसु करै प्रभु आपै ॥३॥
Āpe saṯgur āp hai cẖelā upḏes karai parabẖ āpai. ||3||
He Himself is the True Guru, and He Himself is the disciple; God Himself imparts the Teachings. ||3||

ਆਪੇ ਨਾਉ ਜਪਾਇਦਾ ਪਿਆਰਾ ਆਪੇ ਹੀ ਜਪੁ ਜਾਪੈ
आपे नाउ जपाइदा पिआरा आपे ही जपु जापै ॥
Āpe nā▫o japā▫iḏā pi▫ārā āpe hī jap jāpai.
The Beloved Himself inspires us to chant His Name, and He Himself practices meditation.

ਆਪੇ ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤੁ ਆਪਿ ਹੈ ਪਿਆਰਾ ਆਪੇ ਹੀ ਰਸੁ ਆਪੈ
आपे अम्रितु आपि है पिआरा आपे ही रसु आपै ॥
Āpe amriṯ āp hai pi▫ārā āpe hī ras āpai.
The Beloved Himself is the Ambrosial Nectar; He Himself is the juice of it.

ਆਪੇ ਆਪਿ ਸਲਾਹਦਾ ਪਿਆਰਾ ਜਨ ਨਾਨਕ ਹਰਿ ਰਸਿ ਧ੍ਰਾਪੈ ॥੪॥੩॥
आपे आपि सलाहदा पिआरा जन नानक हरि रसि ध्रापै ॥४॥३॥
Āpe āp salāhaḏā pi▫ārā jan Nānak har ras ḏẖarāpai. ||4||3||
The Beloved Himself praises Himself; servant Nanak is satisfied, with the sublime essence of the Lord. ||4||3||

ਸੋਰਠਿ ਮਹਲਾ

ਆਪੇ ਕੰਡਾ ਆਪਿ ਤਰਾਜੀ ਪ੍ਰਭਿ ਆਪੇ ਤੋਲਿ ਤੋਲਾਇਆ
आपे कंडा आपि तराजी प्रभि आपे तोलि तोलाइआ ॥
Āpe kandā āp ṯarājī parabẖ āpe ṯol ṯolā▫i▫ā.
God Himself is the balance scale, He Himself is the weigher, and He Himself weighs with the weights.

ਆਪੇ ਸਾਹੁ ਆਪੇ ਵਣਜਾਰਾ ਆਪੇ ਵਣਜੁ ਕਰਾਇਆ
आपे साहु आपे वणजारा आपे वणजु कराइआ ॥
Āpe sāhu āpe vaṇjārā āpe vaṇaj karā▫i▫ā.
He Himself is the banker, He Himself is the trader, and He Himself makes the trades.

ਆਪੇ ਧਰਤੀ ਸਾਜੀਅਨੁ ਪਿਆਰੈ ਪਿਛੈ ਟੰਕੁ ਚੜਾਇਆ ॥੧॥
आपे धरती साजीअनु पिआरै पिछै टंकु चड़ाइआ ॥१॥
Āpe ḏẖarṯī sājī▫an pi▫ārai picẖẖai tank cẖaṛā▫i▫ā. ||1||
The Beloved Himself fashioned the world, and He Himself counter-balances it with a gram. ||1||

ਮੇਰੇ ਮਨ ਹਰਿ ਹਰਿ ਧਿਆਇ ਸੁਖੁ ਪਾਇਆ
मेरे मन हरि हरि धिआइ सुखु पाइआ ॥
Mere man har har ḏẖi▫ā▫e sukẖ pā▫i▫ā.
My mind meditates on the Lord, Har, Har, and finds peace.

ਹਰਿ ਹਰਿ ਨਾਮੁ ਨਿਧਾਨੁ ਹੈ ਪਿਆਰਾ ਗੁਰਿ ਪੂਰੈ ਮੀਠਾ ਲਾਇਆ ਰਹਾਉ
हरि हरि नामु निधानु है पिआरा गुरि पूरै मीठा लाइआ ॥ रहाउ ॥
Har har nām niḏẖān hai pi▫ārā gur pūrai mīṯẖā lā▫i▫ā. Rahā▫o.
The Name of the Beloved Lord, Har, Har, is a treasure; the Perfect Guru has made it seem sweet to me. ||Pause||

ਆਪੇ ਧਰਤੀ ਆਪਿ ਜਲੁ ਪਿਆਰਾ ਆਪੇ ਕਰੇ ਕਰਾਇਆ
आपे धरती आपि जलु पिआरा आपे करे कराइआ ॥
Āpe ḏẖarṯī āp jal pi▫ārā āpe kare karā▫i▫ā.
The Beloved Himself is the earth, and He Himself is the water; He Himself acts, and causes others to act.

ਆਪੇ ਹੁਕਮਿ ਵਰਤਦਾ ਪਿਆਰਾ ਜਲੁ ਮਾਟੀ ਬੰਧਿ ਰਖਾਇਆ
आपे हुकमि वरतदा पिआरा जलु माटी बंधि रखाइआ ॥
Āpe hukam varaṯḏā pi▫ārā jal mātī banḏẖ rakẖā▫i▫ā.
The Beloved Himself issues His Commands, and keeps the water and the land bound down.

ਆਪੇ ਹੀ ਭਉ ਪਾਇਦਾ ਪਿਆਰਾ ਬੰਨਿ ਬਕਰੀ ਸੀਹੁ ਹਢਾਇਆ ॥੨॥
आपे ही भउ पाइदा पिआरा बंनि बकरी सीहु हढाइआ ॥२॥
Āpe hī bẖa▫o pā▫iḏā pi▫ārā bann bakrī sīhu hadẖā▫i▫ā. ||2||
The Beloved Himself instills the Fear of God; He binds the tiger and the goat together. ||2||
