ਘਰ ਮਹਿ ਨਿਜ ਘਰੁ ਪਾਇਆ ਸਤਿਗੁਰੁ ਦੇਇ ਵਡਾਈ ॥
घर महि निज घरु पाइआ सतिगुरु देइ वडाई ॥
Gʰar mėh nij gʰar paa▫i▫aa saṫgur ḋé▫é vadaa▫ee.
Within his home, he finds the home of his own being; the True Guru blesses him with glorious greatness.

ਨਾਨਕ ਜੋ ਨਾਮਿ ਰਤੇ ਸੇਈ ਮਹਲੁ ਪਾਇਨਿ ਮਤਿ ਪਰਵਾਣੁ ਸਚੁ ਸਾਈ ॥੪॥੬॥
नानक जो नामि रते सेई महलु पाइनि मति परवाणु सचु साई ॥४॥६॥
Naanak jo naam raṫé sé▫ee mahal paa▫in maṫ parvaaṇ sach saa▫ee. ||4||6||
O Nanak! Those who are attuned to the Naam find the Mansion of the Lord’s Presence; their understanding is true, and approved. ||4||6||

मेरै मनि मेरै मनि सतिगुरि प्रीति लगाई राम ॥
Méræ man méræ man saṫgur pareeṫ lagaa▫ee raam.
My mind, my mind - the True Guru has blessed it with the Lord’s Love.

ਹਰਿ ਹਰਿ ਹਰਿ ਹਰਿ ਨਾਮੁ ਮੇਰੈ ਮੰਨਿ ਵਸਾਈ ਰਾਮ ॥
हरि हरि हरि हरि नामु मेरै मंनि वसाई राम ॥
Har har har har naam méræ man vasaa▫ee raam.
He has enshrined the Name of the Lord, Har, Har, Har, Har, within my mind.

ਹਰਿ ਹਰਿ ਨਾਮੁ ਮੇਰੈ ਮੰਨਿ ਵਸਾਈ ਸਭਿ ਦੂਖ ਵਿਸਾਰਣਹਾਰਾ ॥
हरि हरि नामु मेरै मंनि वसाई सभि दूख विसारणहारा ॥
Har har naam méræ man vasaa▫ee sabʰ ḋookʰ visaaraṇhaaraa.
The Name of the Lord, Har, Har, dwells within my mind; He is the Destroyer of all pain.

ਵਡਭਾਗੀ ਗੁਰ ਦਰਸਨੁ ਪਾਇਆ ਧਨੁ ਧਨੁ ਸਤਿਗੁਰੂ ਹਮਾਰਾ ॥
वडभागी गुर दरसनु पाइआ धनु धनु सतिगुरू हमारा ॥
vadbʰaagee gur ḋarsan paa▫i▫aa ḋʰan ḋʰan saṫguroo hamaaraa.
By great good fortune, I have obtained the Blessed Vision of the Guru’s Darshan; blessed, blessed is my True Guru.

ਊਠਤ ਬੈਠਤ ਸਤਿਗੁਰੁ ਸੇਵਹ ਜਿਤੁ ਸੇਵਿਐ ਸਾਂਤਿ ਪਾਈ ॥
ऊठत बैठत सतिगुरु सेवह जितु सेविऐ सांति पाई ॥
Ootʰaṫ bætʰaṫ saṫgur sévah jiṫ sévi▫æ saaⁿṫ paa▫ee.
While standing up and sitting down, I serve the True Guru; serving Him, I have found peace.

ਮੇਰੈ ਮਨਿ ਮੇਰੈ ਮਨਿ ਸਤਿਗੁਰ ਪ੍ਰੀਤਿ ਲਗਾਈ ॥੧॥
मेरै मनि मेरै मनि सतिगुर प्रीति लगाई ॥१॥
Méræ man méræ man saṫgur pareeṫ lagaa▫ee. ||1||
My mind, my mind - the True Guru has blessed it with the Lord’s Love. ||1||

ਹਉ ਜੀਵਾ ਹਉ ਜੀਵਾ ਸਤਿਗੁਰ ਦੇਖਿ ਸਰਸੇ ਰਾਮ ॥
हउ जीवा हउ जीवा सतिगुर देखि सरसे राम ॥
Ha▫o jeevaa ha▫o jeevaa saṫgur ḋékʰ sarsé raam.
I live, I live, and I blossom forth, beholding the True Guru.

ਹਰਿ ਨਾਮੋ ਹਰਿ ਨਾਮੁ ਦ੍ਰਿੜਾਏ ਜਪਿ ਹਰਿ ਹਰਿ ਨਾਮੁ ਵਿਗਸੇ ਰਾਮ ॥
हरि नामो हरि नामु द्रिड़ाए जपि हरि हरि नामु विगसे राम ॥
Har naamo har naam driṛ▫aa▫é jap har har naam vigsé raam.
The Name of the Lord, the Name of the Lord, He has implanted within me; chanting the Name of the Lord, Har, Har, I blossom forth.

ਜਪਿ ਹਰਿ ਹਰਿ ਨਾਮੁ ਕਮਲ ਪਰਗਾਸੇ ਹਰਿ ਨਾਮੁ ਨਵੰ ਨਿਧਿ ਪਾਈ ॥
जपि हरि हरि नामु कमल परगासे हरि नामु नवं निधि पाई ॥
Jap har har naam kamal pargaasé har naam navaⁿ niḋʰ paa▫ee.
Chanting the Name of the Lord, Har, Har, the heart-lotus blossoms forth, and through the Name of the Lord, I have obtained the nine treasures.

ਹਉਮੈ ਰੋਗੁ ਗਇਆ ਦੁਖੁ ਲਾਥਾ ਹਰਿ ਸਹਜਿ ਸਮਾਧਿ ਲਗਾਈ ॥
हउमै रोगु गइआ दुखु लाथा हरि सहजि समाधि लगाई ॥
Ha▫umæ rog ga▫i▫aa ḋukʰ laaṫʰaa har sahj samaaḋʰ lagaa▫ee.
The disease of egotism has been eradicated, suffering has been eliminated, and I have entered the Lord’s state of celestial Samadhi.

ਹਰਿ ਨਾਮੁ ਵਡਾਈ ਸਤਿਗੁਰ ਤੇ ਪਾਈ ਸੁਖੁ ਸਤਿਗੁਰ ਦੇਵ ਮਨੁ ਪਰਸੇ ॥
हरि नामु वडाई सतिगुर ते पाई सुखु सतिगुर देव मनु परसे ॥
Har naam vadaa▫ee saṫgur ṫé paa▫ee sukʰ saṫgur ḋév man parsé.
I have obtained the glorious greatness of the Name of the Lord from the True Guru; beholding the Divine True Guru, my mind is at peace.

ਹਉ ਜੀਵਾ ਹਉ ਜੀਵਾ ਸਤਿਗੁਰ ਦੇਖਿ ਸਰਸੇ ॥੨॥
हउ जीवा हउ जीवा सतिगुर देखि सरसे ॥२॥
Ha▫o jeevaa ha▫o jeevaa saṫgur ḋékʰ sarsé. ||2||
I live, I live, and I blossom forth, beholding the True Guru. ||2||

ਕੋਈ ਆਣਿ ਕੋਈ ਆਣਿ ਮਿਲਾਵੈ ਮੇਰਾ ਸਤਿਗੁਰੁ ਪੂਰਾ ਰਾਮ ॥
कोई आणि कोई आणि मिलावै मेरा सतिगुरु पूरा राम ॥
Ko▫ee aaṇ ko▫ee aaṇ milaavæ méraa saṫgur pooraa raam.
If only someone would come, if only someone would come, and lead me to meet my Perfect True Guru.

ਹਉ ਮਨੁ ਤਨੁ ਹਉ ਮਨੁ ਤਨੁ ਦੇਵਾ ਤਿਸੁ ਕਾਟਿ ਸਰੀਰਾ ਰਾਮ ॥
हउ मनु तनु हउ मनु तनु देवा तिसु काटि सरीरा राम ॥
Ha▫o man ṫan ha▫o man ṫan ḋévaa ṫis kaat sareeraa raam.
My mind and body, my mind and body - I cut my body into pieces, and I dedicate these to Him.

ਹਉ ਮਨੁ ਤਨੁ ਕਾਟਿ ਕਾਟਿ ਤਿਸੁ ਦੇਈ ਜੋ ਸਤਿਗੁਰ ਬਚਨ ਸੁਣਾਏ ॥
हउ मनु तनु काटि काटि तिसु देई जो सतिगुर बचन सुणाए ॥
Ha▫o man ṫan kaat kaat ṫis ḋé▫ee jo saṫgur bachan suṇaa▫é.
Cutting my mind and body apart, cutting them into pieces, I offer these to the one, who recites to me the Words of the True Guru.

ਮੇਰੈ ਮਨਿ ਬੈਰਾਗੁ ਭਇਆ ਬੈਰਾਗੀ ਮਿਲਿ ਗੁਰ ਦਰਸਨਿ ਸੁਖੁ ਪਾਏ ॥
मेरै मनि बैरागु भइआ बैरागी मिलि गुर दरसनि सुखु पाए ॥
Méræ man bæraag bʰa▫i▫aa bæraagee mil gur ḋarsan sukʰ paa▫é.
My unattached mind has renounced the world; obtaining the Blessed Vision of the Guru’s Darshan, it has found peace.

ਹਰਿ ਹਰਿ ਕ੍ਰਿਪਾ ਕਰਹੁ ਸੁਖਦਾਤੇ ਦੇਹੁ ਸਤਿਗੁਰ ਚਰਨ ਹਮ ਧੂਰਾ ॥
हरि हरि क्रिपा करहु सुखदाते देहु सतिगुर चरन हम धूरा ॥
Har har kirpaa karahu sukʰ▫ḋaaṫé ḋéh saṫgur charan ham ḋʰooraa.
O Lord, Har, Har, O Giver of Peace, please, grant Your Grace, and bless me with the dust of the feet of the True Guru.

ਕੋਈ ਆਣਿ ਕੋਈ ਆਣਿ ਮਿਲਾਵੈ ਮੇਰਾ ਸਤਿਗੁਰੁ ਪੂਰਾ ॥੩॥
कोई आणि कोई आणि मिलावै मेरा सतिगुरु पूरा ॥३॥
Ko▫ee aaṇ ko▫ee aaṇ milaavæ méraa saṫgur pooraa. ||3||
If only someone would come, if only someone would come, and lead me to meet my Perfect True Guru. ||3||

ਗੁਰ ਜੇਵਡੁ ਗੁਰ ਜੇਵਡੁ ਦਾਤਾ ਮੈ ਅਵਰੁ ਨ ਕੋਈ ਰਾਮ ॥
गुर जेवडु गुर जेवडु दाता मै अवरु न कोई राम ॥
Gur jévad gur jévad ḋaaṫaa mæ avar na ko▫ee raam.
A Giver as great as the Guru, as great as the Guru - I cannot see any other.

ਹਰਿ ਦਾਨੋ ਹਰਿ ਦਾਨੁ ਦੇਵੈ ਹਰਿ ਪੁਰਖੁ ਨਿਰੰਜਨੁ ਸੋਈ ਰਾਮ ॥
हरि दानो हरि दानु देवै हरि पुरखु निरंजनु सोई राम ॥
Har ḋaano har ḋaan ḋévæ har purakʰ niranjan so▫ee raam.
He blesses me with the gift of the Lord’s Name, the gift of the Lord’s Name; He is the Immaculate Lord God.

ਹਰਿ ਹਰਿ ਨਾਮੁ ਜਿਨੀ ਆਰਾਧਿਆ ਤਿਨ ਕਾ ਦੁਖੁ ਭਰਮੁ ਭਉ ਭਾਗਾ ॥
हरि हरि नामु जिनी आराधिआ तिन का दुखु भरमु भउ भागा ॥
Har har naam jinee aaraaḋʰi▫aa ṫin kaa ḋukʰ bʰaram bʰa▫o bʰaagaa.
Those who worship in adoration the Name of the Lord, Har, Har - their pain, doubts and fears are dispelled.

ਸੇਵਕ ਭਾਇ ਮਿਲੇ ਵਡਭਾਗੀ ਜਿਨ ਗੁਰ ਚਰਨੀ ਮਨੁ ਲਾਗਾ ॥
सेवक भाइ मिले वडभागी जिन गुर चरनी मनु लागा ॥
Sévak bʰaa▫é milé vadbʰaagee jin gur charnee man laagaa.
Through their loving service, those very fortunate ones, whose minds are attached to the Guru’s Feet, meet Him.

ਕਹੁ ਨਾਨਕ ਹਰਿ ਆਪਿ ਮਿਲਾਏ ਮਿਲਿ ਸਤਿਗੁਰ ਪੁਰਖ ਸੁਖੁ ਹੋਈ ॥
कहु नानक हरि आपि मिलाए मिलि सतिगुर पुरख सुखु होई ॥
Kaho Naanak har aap milaa▫é mil saṫgur purakʰ sukʰ ho▫ee.
Says Nanak, the Lord Himself causes us to meet the Guru; meeting the Almighty True Guru, peace is obtained.

ਗੁਰ ਜੇਵਡੁ ਗੁਰ ਜੇਵਡੁ ਦਾਤਾ ਮੈ ਅਵਰੁ ਨ ਕੋਈ ॥੪॥੧॥
गुर जेवडु गुर जेवडु दाता मै अवरु न कोई ॥४॥१॥
Gur jévad gur jévad ḋaaṫaa mæ avar na ko▫ee. ||4||1||
A Giver as great as the Guru, as great as the Guru - I cannot see any other. ||4||1||

ਹੰਉ ਗੁਰ ਬਿਨੁ ਹੰਉ ਗੁਰ ਬਿਨੁ ਖਰੀ ਨਿਮਾਣੀ ਰਾਮ ॥
हंउ गुर बिनु हंउ गुर बिनु खरी निमाणी राम ॥
Haⁿ▫u gur bin haⁿ▫u gur bin kʰaree nimaaṇee raam.
Without the Guru, I am - without the Guru, I am totally dishonored.

ਜਗਜੀਵਨੁ ਜਗਜੀਵਨੁ ਦਾਤਾ ਗੁਰ ਮੇਲਿ ਸਮਾਣੀ ਰਾਮ ॥
जगजीवनु जगजीवनु दाता गुर मेलि समाणी राम ॥
Jagjeevan jagjeevan ḋaaṫaa gur mél samaaṇee raam.
The Life of the World, the Life of the World, the Great Giver has led me to meet and merge with the Guru.

ਸਤਿਗੁਰੁ ਮੇਲਿ ਹਰਿ ਨਾਮਿ ਸਮਾਣੀ ਜਪਿ ਹਰਿ ਹਰਿ ਨਾਮੁ ਧਿਆਇਆ ॥
सतिगुरु मेलि हरि नामि समाणी जपि हरि हरि नामु धिआइआ ॥
Saṫgur mél har naam samaaṇee jap har har naam ḋʰi▫aa▫i▫aa.
Meeting with the True Guru, I have merged into the Naam, the Name of the Lord. I chant the Name of the Lord, Har, Har, and meditate on it.

ਜਿਸੁ ਕਾਰਣਿ ਹੰਉ ਢੂੰਢਿ ਢੂਢੇਦੀ ਸੋ ਸਜਣੁ ਹਰਿ ਘਰਿ ਪਾਇਆ ॥
जिसु कारणि हंउ ढूंढि ढूढेदी सो सजणु हरि घरि पाइआ ॥
Jis kaaraṇ haⁿ▫u dʰoondʰ dʰoodʰéḋee so sajaṇ har gʰar paa▫i▫aa.
I was seeking and searching for Him, the Lord, my best friend, and I have found Him within the home of my own being.
