ੴ ਸਤਿਗੁਰ ਪ੍ਰਸਾਦਿ ॥

ਐਸੋ ਦਾਨੁ ਦੇਹੁ ਜੀ ਸੰਤਹੁ ਜਾਤ ਜੀਉ ਬਲਿਹਾਰਿ ॥
ऐसो दानु देहु जी संतहु जात जीउ बलिहारि ॥
Æso ḋaan ḋéh jee sanṫahu jaaṫ jee▫o balihaar.
Give me that blessing, O Dear Saints, for which my soul would be a sacrifice.

ਮਾਨ ਮੋਹੀ ਪੰਚ ਦੋਹੀ ਉਰਝਿ ਨਿਕਟਿ ਬਸਿਓ ਤਾਕੀ ਸਰਨਿ ਸਾਧੂਆ ਦੂਤ ਸੰਗੁ ਨਿਵਾਰਿ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
मान मोही पंच दोही उरझि निकटि बसिओ ताकी सरनि साधूआ दूत संगु निवारि ॥१॥ रहाउ ॥
Maan mohee panch ḋohee urajʰ nikat basi▫o ṫaakee saran saaḋʰoo▫aa ḋooṫ sang nivaar. ||1|| rahaa▫o.
Enticed by pride, entrapped and plundered by the five thieves, still, you live near them. I have come to the Sanctuary of the Holy, and I have been rescued from my association with those demons. ||1||Pause||

ਕੋਟਿ ਜਨਮ ਜੋਨਿ ਭ੍ਰਮਿਓ ਹਾਰਿ ਪਰਿਓ ਦੁਆਰਿ ॥੧॥
कोटि जनम जोनि भ्रमिओ हारि परिओ दुआरि ॥१॥
Kot janam jon bʰarmi▫o haar pari▫o ḋu▫aar. ||1||
I wandered through millions of lifetimes and incarnations. I am so very tired - I have fallen at God’s Door. ||1||

ਕਿਰਪਾ ਗੋਬਿੰਦ ਭਈ ਮਿਲਿਓ ਨਾਮੁ ਅਧਾਰੁ ॥
किरपा गोबिंद भई मिलिओ नामु अधारु ॥
Kirpaa gobinḋ bʰa▫ee mili▫o naam aḋʰaar.
The Lord of the Universe has become Kind to me; He has blessed me with the Support of the Naam.

ਦੁਲਭ ਜਨਮੁ ਸਫਲੁ ਨਾਨਕ ਭਵ ਉਤਾਰਿ ਪਾਰਿ ॥੨॥੧॥੪੫॥
दुलभ जनमु सफलु नानक भव उतारि पारि ॥२॥१॥४५॥
Ḋulabʰ janam safal Naanak bʰav uṫaar paar. ||2||1||45||
This precious human life has become fruitful and prosperous; O Nanak! I am carried across the terrifying world-ocean. ||2||1||45||

ੴ ਸਤਿਗੁਰ ਪ੍ਰਸਾਦਿ ॥

Ik▫oaⁿkaar saṫgur parsaaḋ.

ਸਹਜ ਸੁਭਾਏ ਆਪਨ ਆਏ ॥
सहज सुभाए आपन आए ॥
Sahj subʰaa▫é aapan aa▫é.
He Himself has come to me, in His Natural Way.
|
ਕਛੂ ਨ ਜਾਨੌ ਕਛੂ ਦਿਖਾਏ ॥
कछू न जानौ कछू दिखाए ॥
Kachʰoo na jaanou kachʰoo ḋikʰaa▫é.
I know nothing, and I show nothing.
|
ਪ੍ਰਭੁ ਮਿਲਿਓ ਸੁਖ ਬਾਲੇ ਭੋਲੇ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
प्रभु मिलिओ सुख बाले भोले ॥१॥ रहाउ ॥
Parabʰ mili▫o sukʰ baalé bʰolé. ||1|| rahaa▫o.
I have met God through innocent faith, and He has blessed me with peace. ||1||Pause||
|
ਸੰਜੋਗਿ ਮਿਲਾਏ ਸਾਧ ਸੰਗਾਏ ॥
संजोगि मिलाए साध संगाए ॥
Sanjog milaa▫é saaḋʰ sangaa▫é.
By the good fortune of my destiny, I have joined the Saadh Sangat, the Company of the Holy.

ਕਤਹੂ ਨ ਜਾਏ ਘਰਹਿ ਬਸਾਏ ॥
कतहू न जाए घरहि बसाए ॥
Kaṫhoo na jaa▫é gʰarėh basaa▫é.
I do not go out anywhere; I dwell in my own home.
|
ਗੁਨ ਨਿਧਾਨੁ ਪ੍ਰਗਟਿਓ ਇਹ ਚੋਲੈ ॥੧॥
गुन निधानु प्रगटिओ इह चोलै ॥१॥
Gun niḋʰaan pargati▫o ih cholæ. ||1||
God, the Treasure of Virtue, has been revealed in this body-robe. ||1||
|
ਚਰਨ ਲੁਭਾਏ ਆਨ ਤਜਾਏ ॥
चरन लुभाए आन तजाए ॥
Charan lubʰaa▫é aan ṫajaa▫é.
I have fallen in love with His Feet; I have abandoned everything else.
|
ਥਾਨ ਥਨਾਏ ਸਰਬ ਸਮਾਏ ॥
थान थनाए सरब समाए ॥
Ṫʰaan ṫʰanaa▫é sarab samaa▫é.
In the places and inter-spaces, He is All-pervading.
|
ਰਸਕਿ ਰਸਕਿ ਨਾਨਕੁ ਗੁਨ ਬੋਲੈ ॥੨॥੧॥੪੬॥
रसकि रसकि नानकु गुन बोलै ॥२॥१॥४६॥
Rasak rasak Naanak gun bolæ. ||2||1||46||
With loving joy and excitement, Nanak speaks His Praises. ||2||1||46||

ਗੋਬਿੰਦ ਠਾਕੁਰ ਮਿਲਨ ਦੁਰਾਈ ॥
गोबिंद ठाकुर मिलन दुराई ॥
Gobinḋ tʰaakur milan ḋuraa▫eeⁿ.
It is so hard to meet the Lord of the Universe, my Lord and Master.

ਪਰਮਿਤਿ ਰੂਪੁ ਅਗੰਮ ਅਗੋਚਰ ਰਹਿਓ ਸਰਬ ਸਮਾਈ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
परमिति रूपु अगंम अगोचर रहिओ सरब समाई ॥१॥ रहाउ ॥
Parmiṫ roop agamm agochar rahi▫o sarab samaa▫ee. ||1|| rahaa▫o.
His Form is Immeasurable, Inaccessible and Unfathomable; He is All-pervading everywhere. ||1||Pause||

ਕਹਨਿ ਭਵਨਿ ਨਾਹੀ ਪਾਇਓ ਪਾਇਓ ਅਨਿਕ ਉਕਤਿ ਚਤੁਰਾਈ ॥੧॥
कहनि भवनि नाही पाइओ पाइओ अनिक उकति चतुराई ॥१॥
Kahan bʰavan naahee paa▫i▫o paa▫i▫o anik ukaṫ chaṫuraa▫ee. ||1||
By speaking and wandering, nothing is gained; nothing is obtained by clever tricks and devices. ||1||
|
ਜਤਨ ਜਤਨ ਅਨਿਕ ਉਪਾਵ ਰੇ ਤਉ ਮਿਲਿਓ ਜਉ ਕਿਰਪਾਈ ॥
जतन जतन अनिक उपाव रे तउ मिलिओ जउ किरपाई ॥
Jaṫan jaṫan anik upaav ré ṫa▫o mili▫o ja▫o kirpaa▫ee.
People try all sorts of things, but the Lord is only met when He shows His Mercy.

ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦਇਆਰ ਕ੍ਰਿਪਾਰ ਕ੍ਰਿਪਾ ਨਿਧਿ ਜਨ ਨਾਨਕ ਸੰਤ ਰੇਨਾਈ ॥੨॥੨॥੪੭॥
प्रभू दइआर क्रिपार क्रिपा निधि जन नानक संत रेनाई ॥२॥२॥४७॥
Parabʰoo ḋa▫i▫aar kirpaar kirpaa niḋʰ jan Naanak sanṫ rénaa▫ee. ||2||2||47||
God is Kind and Compassionate, the Treasure of Mercy; servant Nanak is the dust of the feet of the Saints. ||2||2||47||

ਮਾਈ ਸਿਮਰਤ ਰਾਮ ਰਾਮ ਰਾਮ ॥
माई सिमरत राम राम राम ॥
Maa▫ee simraṫ raam raam raam.
O mother, I meditate on the Lord, Ram, Ram, Ram.
|
ਪ੍ਰਭ ਬਿਨਾ ਨਾਹੀ ਹੋਰੁ ॥
प्रभ बिना नाही होरु ॥
Parabʰ binaa naahee hor.
Without God, there is no other at all.
|
ਚਿਤਵਉ ਚਰਨਾਰਬਿੰਦ ਸਾਸਨ ਨਿਸਿ ਭੋਰ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
चितवउ चरनारबिंद सासन निसि भोर ॥१॥ रहाउ ॥
Chiṫva▫o charnaarbinḋ saasan nis bʰor. ||1|| rahaa▫o.
I remember His Lotus Feet with every breath, night and day. ||1||Pause||
|
ਲਾਇ ਪ੍ਰੀਤਿ ਕੀਨ ਆਪਨ ਤੂਟਤ ਨਹੀ ਜੋਰੁ ॥
लाइ प्रीति कीन आपन तूटत नही जोरु ॥
Laa▫é pareeṫ keen aapan ṫootaṫ nahee jor.
He loves me and makes me His Own; my union with Him shall never be broken.

ਪ੍ਰਾਨ ਮਨੁ ਧਨੁ ਸਰਬਸੋੁ ਹਰਿ ਗੁਨ ਨਿਧੇ ਸੁਖ ਮੋਰ ॥੧॥
प्रान मनु धनु सरबसुो हरि गुन निधे सुख मोर ॥१॥
Paraan man ḋʰan sarbaso har gun niḋʰé sukʰ mor. ||1||
He is my breath of life, mind, wealth and everything. The Lord is the Treasure of Virtue and Peace. ||1||
|
ਈਤ ਊਤ ਰਾਮ ਪੂਰਨੁ ਨਿਰਖਤ ਰਿਦ ਖੋਰਿ ॥
ईत ऊत राम पूरनु निरखत रिद खोरि ॥
Eeṫ ooṫ raam pooran nirkʰaṫ riḋ kʰor.
Here and hereafter, the Lord is perfectly pervading; He is seen deep within the heart.

ਸੰਤ ਸਰਨ ਤਰਨ ਨਾਨਕ ਬਿਨਸਿਓ ਦੁਖੁ ਘੋਰ ॥੨॥੩॥੪੮॥
संत सरन तरन नानक बिनसिओ दुखु घोर ॥२॥३॥४८॥
Sanṫ saran ṫaran Naanak binsi▫o ḋukʰ gʰor. ||2||3||48||
In the Sanctuary of the Saints, I am carried across; O Nanak! The terrible pain has been taken away. ||2||3||48||

ਜਨ ਕੋ ਪ੍ਰਭੁ ਸੰਗੇ ਅਸਨੇਹੁ ॥
जन को प्रभु संगे असनेहु ॥
Jan ko parabʰ sangé asnéhu.
God’s humble servant is in love with Him.
|
ਸਾਜਨੋ ਤੂ ਮੀਤੁ ਮੇਰਾ ਗ੍ਰਿਹਿ ਤੇਰੈ ਸਭੁ ਕੇਹੁ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
साजनो तू मीतु मेरा ग्रिहि तेरै सभु केहु ॥१॥ रहाउ ॥
Saajno ṫoo meeṫ méraa garihi ṫéræ sabʰ kéhu. ||1|| rahaa▫o.
You are my Friend, my very best Friend; everything is in Your Home. ||1||Pause||

ਮਾਨੁ ਮਾਂਗਉ ਤਾਨੁ ਮਾਂਗਉ ਧਨੁ ਲਖਮੀ ਸੁਤ ਦੇਹ ॥੧॥
मानु मांगउ तानु मांगउ धनु लखमी सुत देह ॥१॥
Maan maaⁿga▫o ṫaan maaⁿga▫o ḋʰan lakʰmee suṫ ḋéh. ||1||
I beg for honor, I beg for strength; please bless me with wealth, property and children. ||1||
|
ਮੁਕਤਿ ਜੁਗਤਿ ਭੁਗਤਿ ਪੂਰਨ ਪਰਮਾਨੰਦ ਪਰਮ ਨਿਧਾਨ ॥
मुकति जुगति भुगति पूरन परमानंद परम निधान ॥
Mukaṫ jugaṫ bʰugaṫ pooran parmaananḋ param niḋʰaan.
You are the Technology of liberation, the Way to worldly success, the Perfect Lord of Supreme Bliss, the Transcendent Treasure.
