ਜਉ ਗੁਰਦੇਉ ਬੁਰਾ ਭਲਾ ਏਕ
Ja▫o gurḏe▫o burā bẖalā ek.
When the Divine Guru grants His Grace, one looks upon good and bad as the same.

ਜਉ ਗੁਰਦੇਉ ਲਿਲਾਟਹਿ ਲੇਖ ॥੫॥
Ja▫o gurḏe▫o lilātėh lekẖ. ||5||
When the Divine Guru grants His Grace, one has good destiny written on his forehead. ||5||

ਜਉ ਗੁਰਦੇਉ ਕੰਧੁ ਨਹੀ ਹਿਰੈ
Ja▫o gurḏe▫o kanḏẖ nahī hirai.
When the Divine Guru grants His Grace, the wall of the body is not eroded.

ਜਉ ਗੁਰਦੇਉ ਦੇਹੁਰਾ ਫਿਰੈ
Ja▫o gurḏe▫o ḏehurā firai.
When the Divine Guru grants His Grace, the temple turns itself towards the mortal.

ਜਉ ਗੁਰਦੇਉ ਛਾਪਰਿ ਛਾਈ
Ja▫o gurḏe▫o ṯa cẖẖāpar cẖẖā▫ī.
When the Divine Guru grants His Grace, one's home is constructed.

ਜਉ ਗੁਰਦੇਉ ਸਿਹਜ ਨਿਕਸਾਈ ॥੬॥
Ja▫o gurḏe▫o sihaj niksā▫ī. ||6||
When the Divine Guru grants His Grace, one's bed is lifted up out of the water. ||6||

ਜਉ ਗੁਰਦੇਉ ਅਠਸਠਿ ਨਾਇਆ
Ja▫o gurḏe▫o ṯa aṯẖsaṯẖ nā▫i▫ā.
When the Divine Guru grants His Grace, one has bathed at the sixty-eight sacred shrines of pilgrimage.

ਜਉ ਗੁਰਦੇਉ ਤਨਿ ਚਕ੍ਰ ਲਗਾਇਆ
Ja▫o gurḏe▫o ṯan cẖakar lagā▫i▫ā.
When the Divine Guru grants His Grace, one's body is stamped with the sacred mark of Vishnu.

ਜਉ ਗੁਰਦੇਉ ਦੁਆਦਸ ਸੇਵਾ
Ja▫o gurḏe▫o ṯa ḏu▫āḏas sevā.
When the Divine Guru grants His Grace, one has performed the twelve devotional services.

ਜਉ ਗੁਰਦੇਉ ਸਭੈ ਬਿਖੁ ਮੇਵਾ ॥੭॥
Ja▫o gurḏe▫o sabẖai bikẖ mevā. ||7||
When the Divine Guru grants His Grace, all poison is transformed into fruit. ||7||

ਜਉ ਗੁਰਦੇਉ ਸੰਸਾ ਟੂਟੈ
Ja▫o gurḏe▫o ṯa sansā tūtai.
When the Divine Guru grants His Grace, skepticism is shattered.

ਜਉ ਗੁਰਦੇਉ ਜਮ ਤੇ ਛੂਟੈ
Ja▫o gurḏe▫o ṯa jam ṯe cẖẖūtai.
When the Divine Guru grants His Grace, one escapes from the Messenger of Death.

ਜਉ ਗੁਰਦੇਉ ਭਉਜਲ ਤਰੈ
Ja▫o gurḏe▫o ṯa bẖa▫ojal ṯarai.
When the Divine Guru grants His Grace, one crosses over the terrifying world-ocean.

ਜਉ ਗੁਰਦੇਉ ਜਨਮਿ ਮਰੈ ॥੮॥
Ja▫o gurḏe▫o ṯa janam na marai. ||8||
When the Divine Guru grants His Grace, one is not subject to the cycle of reincarnation. ||8||

ਜਉ ਗੁਰਦੇਉ ਅਠਦਸ ਬਿਉਹਾਰ
Ja▫o gurḏe▫o aṯẖ▫ḏas bi▫uhār.
When the Divine Guru grants His Grace, one understands the rituals of the eighteen Puraanas.

ਜਉ ਗੁਰਦੇਉ ਅਠਾਰਹ ਭਾਰ
Ja▫o gurḏe▫o aṯẖārah bẖār.
When the Divine Guru grants His Grace, it is as if one has made an offering of the eighteen loads of vegetation.

ਬਿਨੁ ਗੁਰਦੇਉ ਅਵਰ ਨਹੀ ਜਾਈ
Bin gurḏe▫o avar nahī jā▫ī.
When the Divine Guru grants His Grace, one needs no other place of rest.

ਨਾਮਦੇਉ ਗੁਰ ਕੀ ਸਰਣਾਈ ॥੯॥੧॥੨॥੧੧॥
Nāmḏe▫o gur kī sarṇā▫ī. ||9||1||2||11||
Naam Dayv has entered the Sanctuary of the Guru. ||9||1||2||11||

ਭੈਰਉ ਬਾਣੀ ਰਵਿਦਾਸ ਜੀਉ ਕੀ ਘਰੁ
Bẖairo baṇī Raviḏās jī▫o kī gẖar 2

ਸਤਿਗੁਰ ਪ੍ਰਸਾਦਿ
Ik▫oaʼnkār saṯgur parsāḏ.
One Universal Creator God. By The Grace Of The True Guru:

ਬਿਨੁ ਦੇਖੇ ਉਪਜੈ ਨਹੀ ਆਸਾ
Bin ḏekẖe upjai nahī āsā.
Without seeing something, the yearning for it does not arise.

ਜੋ ਦੀਸੈ ਸੋ ਹੋਇ ਬਿਨਾਸਾ
Jo ḏīsai so ho▫e bināsā.
Whatever is seen, shall pass away.

ਬਰਨ ਸਹਿਤ ਜੋ ਜਾਪੈ ਨਾਮੁ
Baran sahiṯ jo jāpai nām.
Whoever chants and praises the Naam, the Name of the Lord,

ਸੋ ਜੋਗੀ ਕੇਵਲ ਨਿਹਕਾਮੁ ॥੧॥
So jogī keval nihkām. ||1||
is the true Yogi, free of desire. ||1||

ਪਰਚੈ ਰਾਮੁ ਰਵੈ ਜਉ ਕੋਈ
Parcẖai rām ravai ja▫o ko▫ī.
When someone utters the Name of the Lord with love,

ਪਾਰਸੁ ਪਰਸੈ ਦੁਬਿਧਾ ਹੋਈ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ
Pāras parsai ḏubiḏẖā na ho▫ī. ||1|| rahā▫o.
it is as if he has touched the philosopher's stone; his sense of duality is eradicated. ||1||Pause||

ਸੋ ਮੁਨਿ ਮਨ ਕੀ ਦੁਬਿਧਾ ਖਾਇ
So mun man kī ḏubiḏẖā kẖā▫e.
He alone is a silent sage, who destroys the duality of his mind.

ਬਿਨੁ ਦੁਆਰੇ ਤ੍ਰੈ ਲੋਕ ਸਮਾਇ
Bin ḏu▫āre ṯarai lok samā▫e.
Keeping the doors of his body closed, he merges in the Lord of the three worlds.

ਮਨ ਕਾ ਸੁਭਾਉ ਸਭੁ ਕੋਈ ਕਰੈ
Man kā subẖā▫o sabẖ ko▫ī karai.
Everyone acts according to the inclinations of the mind.

ਕਰਤਾ ਹੋਇ ਸੁ ਅਨਭੈ ਰਹੈ ॥੨॥
Karṯā ho▫e so anbẖai rahai. ||2||
Attuned to the Creator Lord, one remains free of fear. ||2||

ਫਲ ਕਾਰਨ ਫੂਲੀ ਬਨਰਾਇ
Fal kāran fūlī banrā▫e.
Plants blossom forth to produce fruit.

ਫਲੁ ਲਾਗਾ ਤਬ ਫੂਲੁ ਬਿਲਾਇ
Fal lāgā ṯab fūl bilā▫e.
When the fruit is produced, the flowers wither away.

ਗਿਆਨੈ ਕਾਰਨ ਕਰਮ ਅਭਿਆਸੁ
Gi▫ānai kāran karam abẖi▫ās.
For the sake of spiritual wisdom, people act and practice rituals.

ਗਿਆਨੁ ਭਇਆ ਤਹ ਕਰਮਹ ਨਾਸੁ ॥੩॥
Gi▫ān bẖa▫i▫ā ṯah karmah nās. ||3||
When spiritual wisdom wells up, then actions are left behind. ||3||

ਘ੍ਰਿਤ ਕਾਰਨ ਦਧਿ ਮਥੈ ਸਇਆਨ
Gẖariṯ kāran ḏaḏẖ mathai sa▫i▫ān.
For the sake of ghee, wise people churn milk.

ਜੀਵਤ ਮੁਕਤ ਸਦਾ ਨਿਰਬਾਨ
Jīvaṯ mukaṯ saḏā nirbān.
Those who are Jivan-mukta, liberated while yet alive - are forever in the state of Nirvaanaa.

ਕਹਿ ਰਵਿਦਾਸ ਪਰਮ ਬੈਰਾਗ
Kahi Raviḏās param bairāg.
Says Ravi Daas, O you unfortunate people,

ਰਿਦੈ ਰਾਮੁ ਕੀ ਜਪਸਿ ਅਭਾਗ ॥੪॥੧॥
Riḏai rām kī na japas abẖāg. ||4||1||
why not meditate on the Lord with love in your heart? ||4||1||

Naam Dayv:

ਆਉ ਕਲੰਦਰ ਕੇਸਵਾ
Ā▫o kalanḏar kesvā.
Come, O Lord of beautiful hair,

ਕਰਿ ਅਬਦਾਲੀ ਭੇਸਵਾ ਰਹਾਉ
Kar abḏālī bẖesvā. Rahā▫o.
wearing the robes of a Sufi Saint. ||Pause||

ਜਿਨਿ ਆਕਾਸ ਕੁਲਹ ਸਿਰਿ ਕੀਨੀ ਕਉਸੈ ਸਪਤ ਪਯਾਲਾ
Jin ākās kulah sir kīnī ka▫usai sapaṯ pa▫yālā.
Your cap is the realm of the Akaashic ethers; the seven nether worlds are Your sandals.

ਚਮਰ ਪੋਸ ਕਾ ਮੰਦਰੁ ਤੇਰਾ ਇਹ ਬਿਧਿ ਬਨੇ ਗੁਪਾਲਾ ॥੧॥
Cẖamar pos kā manḏar ṯerā ih biḏẖ bane gupālā. ||1||
The body covered with skin is Your temple; You are so beautiful, O Lord of the World. ||1||

ਛਪਨ ਕੋਟਿ ਕਾ ਪੇਹਨੁ ਤੇਰਾ ਸੋਲਹ ਸਹਸ ਇਜਾਰਾ
Cẖẖapan kot kā pehan ṯerā solah sahas ijārā.
The fifty-six million clouds are Your gowns, the 16,000 milkmaids are your skirts.

ਭਾਰ ਅਠਾਰਹ ਮੁਦਗਰੁ ਤੇਰਾ ਸਹਨਕ ਸਭ ਸੰਸਾਰਾ ॥੨॥
Bẖār aṯẖārah muḏgar ṯerā sahnak sabẖ sansārā. ||2||
The eighteen loads of vegetation is Your stick, and all the world is Your plate. ||2||

ਦੇਹੀ ਮਹਜਿਦਿ ਮਨੁ ਮਉਲਾਨਾ ਸਹਜ ਨਿਵਾਜ ਗੁਜਾਰੈ
Ḏehī mėhjiḏ man ma▫ulānā sahj nivāj gujārai.
The human body is the mosque, and the mind is the priest, who peacefully leads the prayer.

ਬੀਬੀ ਕਉਲਾ ਸਉ ਕਾਇਨੁ ਤੇਰਾ ਨਿਰੰਕਾਰ ਆਕਾਰੈ ॥੩॥
Bībī ka▫ulā sa▫o kā▫in ṯerā nirankār ākārai. ||3||
You are married to Maya, O Formless Lord, and so You have taken form. ||3||

ਭਗਤਿ ਕਰਤ ਮੇਰੇ ਤਾਲ ਛਿਨਾਏ ਕਿਹ ਪਹਿ ਕਰਉ ਪੁਕਾਰਾ
Bẖagaṯ karaṯ mere ṯāl cẖẖinā▫e kih pėh kara▫o pukārā.
Performing devotional worship services to You, my cymbals were taken away; unto whom should I complain?

ਨਾਮੇ ਕਾ ਸੁਆਮੀ ਅੰਤਰਜਾਮੀ ਫਿਰੇ ਸਗਲ ਬੇਦੇਸਵਾ ॥੪॥੧॥
Nāme kā su▫āmī anṯarjāmī fire sagal beḏesvā. ||4||1||
Naam Dayv's Lord and Master, the Inner-knower, the Searcher of hearts, wanders everywhere; He has no specific home. ||4||1||
