ਮਃ ੫ ॥ मः ५ ॥ Mėhlā 5. Fifth Mehl: ਕਾਹੇ ਮਨ ਤੂ ਡੋਲਤਾ ਹਰਿ ਮਨਸਾ ਪੂਰਣਹਾਰੁ ॥ काहे मन तू डोलता हरि मनसा पूरणहारु ॥ Kāhe man ṯū dolṯā har mansā pūraṇhār. Why do you waver, O my mind? The Lord is the Fulfiller of hopes and desires. ਸਤਿਗੁਰੁ ਪੁਰਖੁ ਧਿਆਇ ਤੂ ਸਭਿ ਦੁਖ ਵਿਸਾਰਣਹਾਰੁ ॥ सतिगुरु पुरखु धिआइ तू सभि दुख विसारणहारु ॥ Saṯgur purakẖ ḏẖi▫ā▫e ṯū sabẖ ḏukẖ visāraṇhār. Meditate on the True Guru, the Primal Being; He is the Destroyer of all pains. ਹਰਿ ਨਾਮਾ ਆਰਾਧਿ ਮਨ ਸਭਿ ਕਿਲਵਿਖ ਜਾਹਿ ਵਿਕਾਰ ॥ हरि नामा आराधि मन सभि किलविख जाहि विकार ॥ Har nāmā ārāḏẖ man sabẖ kilvikẖ jāhi vikār. Worship and adore the Lord's Name, O my mind; all sins and corruption shall be washed away. ਜਿਨ ਕਉ ਪੂਰਬਿ ਲਿਖਿਆ ਤਿਨ ਰੰਗੁ ਲਗਾ ਨਿਰੰਕਾਰ ॥ जिन कउ पूरबि लिखिआ तिन रंगु लगा निरंकार ॥ Jin ka▫o pūrab likẖi▫ā ṯin rang lagā nirankār. Those who are blessed with such pre-ordained destiny, are in love with the Formless Lord. ਓਨੀ ਛਡਿਆ ਮਾਇਆ ਸੁਆਵੜਾ ਧਨੁ ਸੰਚਿਆ ਨਾਮੁ ਅਪਾਰੁ ॥ ओनी छडिआ माइआ सुआवड़ा धनु संचिआ नामु अपारु ॥ Onī cẖẖadi▫ā mā▫i▫ā su▫āvaṛā ḏẖan sancẖi▫ā nām apār. They abandon the tastes of Maya, and gather in the infinite wealth of the Naam. ਅਠੇ ਪਹਰ ਇਕਤੈ ਲਿਵੈ ਮੰਨੇਨਿ ਹੁਕਮੁ ਅਪਾਰੁ ॥ अठे पहर इकतै लिवै मंनेनि हुकमु अपारु ॥ Aṯẖe pahar ikṯai livai mannen hukam apār. Twenty-four hours a day, they are lovingly absorbed in the One Lord; they surrender and accept the Will of the Infinite Lord. ਜਨੁ ਨਾਨਕੁ ਮੰਗੈ ਦਾਨੁ ਇਕੁ ਦੇਹੁ ਦਰਸੁ ਮਨਿ ਪਿਆਰੁ ॥੨॥ जनु नानकु मंगै दानु इकु देहु दरसु मनि पिआरु ॥२॥ Jan Nānak mangai ḏān ik ḏeh ḏaras man pi▫ār. ||2|| Servant Nanak begs for this one gift: please bless me, Lord, with the Blessed Vision of Your Darshan; my mind is in love with You. ||2||
