ਇਹੁ ਤਨੁ ਸਭੋ ਰਤੁ ਹੈ ਰਤੁ ਬਿਨੁ ਤੰਨੁ ਨ ਹੋਇ ॥ इहु तनु सभो रतु है रतु बिनु तंनु न होइ ॥ Ih ṯan sabẖo raṯ hai raṯ bin ṯann na ho▫e. This body is all blood; without blood, the body cannot exist. ਸਲੋਕ ਮਃ ੩ ॥ सलोक मः ३ ॥ Salok mėhlā 3. Shalok, Third Mehl: ਭੈ ਪਇਐ ਤਨੁ ਖੀਣੁ ਹੋਇ ਲੋਭ ਰਤੁ ਵਿਚਹੁ ਜਾਇ ॥ भै पइऐ तनु खीणु होइ लोभ रतु विचहु जाइ ॥ Bẖai pa▫i▫ai ṯan kẖīṇ ho▫e lobẖ raṯ vicẖahu jā▫e. In the Fear of God, the body becomes thin, and the blood of greed passes out of the body. ਜੋ ਸਹਿ ਰਤੇ ਆਪਣੈ ਤਿਨ ਤਨਿ ਲੋਭ ਰਤੁ ਨ ਹੋਇ ॥ जो सहि रते आपणै तिन तनि लोभ रतु न होइ ॥ Jo sėh raṯe āpṇai ṯin ṯan lobẖ raṯ na ho▫e. Those who are attuned to their Lord - their bodies are not filled with the blood of greed. ਜਿਉ ਬੈਸੰਤਰਿ ਧਾਤੁ ਸੁਧੁ ਹੋਇ ਤਿਉ ਹਰਿ ਕਾ ਭਉ ਦੁਰਮਤਿ ਮੈਲੁ ਗਵਾਇ ॥ जिउ बैसंतरि धातु सुधु होइ तिउ हरि का भउ दुरमति मैलु गवाइ ॥ Ji▫o baisanṯar ḏẖāṯ suḏẖ ho▫e ṯi▫o har kā bẖa▫o ḏurmaṯ mail gavā▫e. As fire purifies metal, so does the Fear of the Lord eradicate the filth of evil-mindedness. ਨਾਨਕ ਤੇ ਜਨ ਸੋਹਣੇ ਜੋ ਰਤੇ ਹਰਿ ਰੰਗੁ ਲਾਇ ॥੧॥ नानक ते जन सोहणे जो रते हरि रंगु लाइ ॥१॥ Nānak ṯe jan sohṇe jo raṯe har rang lā▫e. ||1|| O Nanak, beautiful are those humble beings, who are imbued with the Lord's Love. ||1||
