ਪ੍ਰਾਨੀ ਨਾਰਾਇਨ ਸੁਧਿ ਲੇਹਿ ॥ प्रानी नाराइन सुधि लेहि ॥ Parānī nārā▫in suḏẖ lehi. O mortal, focus your thoughts on the Lord. ਰਾਮਕਲੀ ਮਹਲਾ ੯ ॥ रामकली महला ९ ॥ Rāmkalī mėhlā 9. Raamkalee, Ninth Mehl: ਛਿਨੁ ਛਿਨੁ ਅਉਧ ਘਟੈ ਨਿਸਿ ਬਾਸੁਰ ਬ੍ਰਿਥਾ ਜਾਤੁ ਹੈ ਦੇਹ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥ छिनु छिनु अउध घटै निसि बासुर ब्रिथा जातु है देह ॥१॥ रहाउ ॥ Cẖẖin cẖẖin a▫oḏẖ gẖatai nis bāsur baritha jāṯ hai ḏeh. ||1|| rahā▫o. Moment by moment, your life is running out; night and day, your body is passing away in vain. ||1||Pause|| ਤਰਨਾਪੋ ਬਿਖਿਅਨ ਸਿਉ ਖੋਇਓ ਬਾਲਪਨੁ ਅਗਿਆਨਾ ॥ तरनापो बिखिअन सिउ खोइओ बालपनु अगिआना ॥ Ŧarnāpo bikẖi▫an si▫o kẖo▫i▫o bālpan agi▫ānā. You have wasted your youth in corrupt pleasures, and your childhood in ignorance. ਬਿਰਧਿ ਭਇਓ ਅਜਹੂ ਨਹੀ ਸਮਝੈ ਕਉਨ ਕੁਮਤਿ ਉਰਝਾਨਾ ॥੧॥ बिरधि भइओ अजहू नही समझै कउन कुमति उरझाना ॥१॥ Biraḏẖ bẖa▫i▫o ajhū nahī samjẖai ka▫un kumaṯ urjẖānā. ||1|| You have grown old, and even now, you do not understand, the evil-mindedness in which you are entangled. ||1|| ਮਾਨਸ ਜਨਮੁ ਦੀਓ ਜਿਹ ਠਾਕੁਰਿ ਸੋ ਤੈ ਕਿਉ ਬਿਸਰਾਇਓ ॥ मानस जनमु दीओ जिह ठाकुरि सो तै किउ बिसराइओ ॥ Mānas janam ḏī▫o jih ṯẖākur so ṯai ki▫o bisrā▫i▫o. Why have you forgotten your Lord and Master, who blessed you with this human life? ਮੁਕਤੁ ਹੋਤ ਨਰ ਜਾ ਕੈ ਸਿਮਰੈ ਨਿਮਖ ਨ ਤਾ ਕਉ ਗਾਇਓ ॥੨॥ मुकतु होत नर जा कै सिमरै निमख न ता कउ गाइओ ॥२॥ Mukaṯ hoṯ nar jā kai simrai nimakẖ na ṯā ka▫o gā▫i▫o. ||2|| Remembering Him in meditation, one is liberated. And yet, you do not sing His Praises, even for an instant. ||2|| ਮਾਇਆ ਕੋ ਮਦੁ ਕਹਾ ਕਰਤੁ ਹੈ ਸੰਗਿ ਨ ਕਾਹੂ ਜਾਈ ॥ माइआ को मदु कहा करतु है संगि न काहू जाई ॥ Mā▫i▫ā ko maḏ kahā karaṯ hai sang na kāhū jā▫ī. Why are you intoxicated with Maya? It will not go along with you. ਨਾਨਕੁ ਕਹਤੁ ਚੇਤਿ ਚਿੰਤਾਮਨਿ ਹੋਇ ਹੈ ਅੰਤਿ ਸਹਾਈ ॥੩॥੩॥੮੧॥ नानकु कहतु चेति चिंतामनि होइ है अंति सहाई ॥३॥३॥८१॥ Nānak kahaṯ cẖeṯ cẖinṯāman ho▫e hai anṯ sahā▫ī. ||3||3||81|| Says Nanak, think of Him, remember Him in your mind. He is the Fulfiller of desires, who will be your help and support in the end. ||3||3||81||
