ਨਾਨਕ ਹਰਿ ਨਾਮੁ ਜਿਨੀ ਆਰਾਧਿਆ ਅਨਦਿਨੁ ਹਰਿ ਲਿਵ ਤਾਰ ॥ नानक हरि नामु जिनी आराधिआ अनदिनु हरि लिव तार ॥ Nānak har nām jinī ārāḏẖi▫ā an▫ḏin har liv ṯār. O Nanak, those who worship and adore the Lord's Name night and day, vibrate the String of the Lord's Love. ਮਃ ੩ ॥ मः ३ ॥ Mėhlā 3. Third Mehl: ਮਾਇਆ ਬੰਦੀ ਖਸਮ ਕੀ ਤਿਨ ਅਗੈ ਕਮਾਵੈ ਕਾਰ ॥ माइआ बंदी खसम की तिन अगै कमावै कार ॥ Mā▫i▫ā banḏī kẖasam kī ṯin agai kamāvai kār. Maya, the maid-servant of our Lord and Master, serves them. ਪੂਰੈ ਪੂਰਾ ਕਰਿ ਛੋਡਿਆ ਹੁਕਮਿ ਸਵਾਰਣਹਾਰ ॥ पूरै पूरा करि छोडिआ हुकमि सवारणहार ॥ Pūrai pūrā kar cẖẖodi▫ā hukam savāraṇhār. The Perfect One has made them perfect; by the Hukam of His Command, they are embellished. ਗੁਰ ਪਰਸਾਦੀ ਜਿਨਿ ਬੁਝਿਆ ਤਿਨਿ ਪਾਇਆ ਮੋਖ ਦੁਆਰੁ ॥ गुर परसादी जिनि बुझिआ तिनि पाइआ मोख दुआरु ॥ Gur parsādī jin bujẖi▫ā ṯin pā▫i▫ā mokẖ ḏu▫ār. By Guru's Grace, they understand Him, and they find the gate of salvation. ਮਨਮੁਖ ਹੁਕਮੁ ਨ ਜਾਣਨੀ ਤਿਨ ਮਾਰੇ ਜਮ ਜੰਦਾਰੁ ॥ मनमुख हुकमु न जाणनी तिन मारे जम जंदारु ॥ Manmukẖ hukam na jāṇnī ṯin māre jam janḏār. The self-willed manmukhs do not know the Lord's Command; they are beaten down by the Messenger of Death. ਗੁਰਮੁਖਿ ਜਿਨੀ ਅਰਾਧਿਆ ਤਿਨੀ ਤਰਿਆ ਭਉਜਲੁ ਸੰਸਾਰੁ ॥ गुरमुखि जिनी अराधिआ तिनी तरिआ भउजलु संसारु ॥ Gurmukẖ jinī arāḏẖi▫ā ṯinī ṯari▫ā bẖa▫ojal sansār. But the Gurmukhs, who worship and adore the Lord, cross over the terrifying world-ocean. ਸਭਿ ਅਉਗਣ ਗੁਣੀ ਮਿਟਾਇਆ ਗੁਰੁ ਆਪੇ ਬਖਸਣਹਾਰੁ ॥੨॥ सभि अउगण गुणी मिटाइआ गुरु आपे बखसणहारु ॥२॥ Sabẖ a▫ugaṇ guṇī mitā▫i▫ā gur āpe bakẖsaṇhār. ||2|| All their demerits are erased, and replaced with merits. The Guru Himself is their Forgiver. ||2||
