ਦੁਲਭ ਦੇਹ ਸਵਾਰਿ ॥ दुलभ देह सवारि ॥ Ḏulabẖ ḏeh savār. Make this invaluable human life fruitful. ਰਾਮਕਲੀ ਮਹਲਾ ੫ ॥ रामकली महला ५ ॥ Rāmkalī mėhlā 5. Raamkalee, Fifth Mehl: ਹਲਤਿ ਪਲਤਿ ਤੁਧੁ ਹੋਇ ਵਡਿਆਈ ॥ हलति पलति तुधु होइ वडिआई ॥ Halaṯ palaṯ ṯuḏẖ ho▫e vadi▫ā▫ī. In this world and the next, you shall obtain honor and glory. ਅੰਤ ਕੀ ਬੇਲਾ ਲਏ ਛਡਾਈ ॥੧॥ अंत की बेला लए छडाई ॥१॥ Anṯ kī belā la▫e cẖẖadā▫ī. ||1|| At the very last moment, He will save you. ||1|| ਜਾਹਿ ਨ ਦਰਗਹ ਹਾਰਿ ॥ जाहि न दरगह हारि ॥ Jāhi na ḏargėh hār. You shall not be destroyed when you go to the Lord's Court. ਰਾਮ ਕੇ ਗੁਨ ਗਾਉ ॥ राम के गुन गाउ ॥ Rām ke gun gā▫o. Sing the Glorious Praises of the Lord. ਹਲਤੁ ਪਲਤੁ ਹੋਹਿ ਦੋਵੈ ਸੁਹੇਲੇ ਅਚਰਜ ਪੁਰਖੁ ਧਿਆਉ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥ हलतु पलतु होहि दोवै सुहेले अचरज पुरखु धिआउ ॥१॥ रहाउ ॥ Halaṯ palaṯ hohi ḏovai suhele acẖraj purakẖ ḏẖi▫ā▫o. ||1|| rahā▫o. In both this world and the next, you shall be embellished with beauty, meditating on the wondrous Primal Lord God. ||1||Pause|| ਊਠਤ ਬੈਠਤ ਹਰਿ ਜਾਪੁ ॥ ऊठत बैठत हरि जापु ॥ Ūṯẖaṯ baiṯẖaṯ har jāp. While standing up and sitting down, meditate on the Lord, ਸਭ ਤੇ ਊਤਮ ਇਹੁ ਕਰਮੁ ॥ सभ ते ऊतम इहु करमु ॥ Sabẖ ṯe ūṯam ih karam. This is the most exalted deed. ਨਿਰਮਲੁ ਤੇਰਾ ਹੋਵੈ ਚੀਤ ॥੨॥ निरमलु तेरा होवै चीत ॥२॥ Nirmal ṯerā hovai cẖīṯ. ||2|| Your consciousness shall be immaculate and pure. ||2|| ਬੈਰੀ ਸਭਿ ਹੋਵਹਿ ਮੀਤ ॥ बैरी सभि होवहि मीत ॥ Bairī sabẖ hovėh mīṯ. All your enemies will become friends. ਬਿਨਸੈ ਸਗਲ ਸੰਤਾਪੁ ॥ बिनसै सगल संतापु ॥ Binsai sagal sanṯāp. and all your troubles shall depart. ਸਗਲ ਧਰਮ ਮਹਿ ਸ੍ਰੇਸਟ ਧਰਮੁ ॥ सगल धरम महि स्रेसट धरमु ॥ Sagal ḏẖaram mėh saresat ḏẖaram. Of all faiths, this is the most sublime and excellent faith. ਹਰਿ ਸਿਮਰਨਿ ਤੇਰਾ ਹੋਇ ਉਧਾਰੁ ॥ हरि सिमरनि तेरा होइ उधारु ॥ Har simran ṯerā ho▫e uḏẖār. Meditating in remembrance on the Lord, you shall be saved. ਜਨਮ ਜਨਮ ਕਾ ਉਤਰੈ ਭਾਰੁ ॥੩॥ जनम जनम का उतरै भारु ॥३॥ Janam janam kā uṯrai bẖār. ||3|| You shall be rid of the burden of countless incarnations. ||3|| ਪੂਰਨ ਤੇਰੀ ਹੋਵੈ ਆਸ ॥ पूरन तेरी होवै आस ॥ Pūran ṯerī hovai ās. Your hopes shall be fulfilled, ਜਮ ਕੀ ਕਟੀਐ ਤੇਰੀ ਫਾਸ ॥ जम की कटीऐ तेरी फास ॥ Jam kī katī▫ai ṯerī fās. and the noose of the Messenger of Death will be cut away. ਗੁਰ ਕਾ ਉਪਦੇਸੁ ਸੁਨੀਜੈ ॥ गुर का उपदेसु सुनीजै ॥ Gur kā upḏes sunījai. So listen to the Guru's Teachings. ਨਾਨਕ ਸੁਖਿ ਸਹਜਿ ਸਮੀਜੈ ॥੪॥੩੦॥੪੧॥ नानक सुखि सहजि समीजै ॥४॥३०॥४१॥ Nānak sukẖ sahj samījai. ||4||30||41|| O Nanak, you shall be absorbed in celestial peace. ||4||30||41|| ਆਪਨ ਲਾਹਿ ਗੁਮਾਨੁ ॥ आपन लाहि गुमानु ॥ Āpan lāhi gumān. Leave your egotistical pride behind. ਜਿਸ ਕੀ ਤਿਸ ਕੀ ਕਰਿ ਮਾਨੁ ॥ जिस की तिस की करि मानु ॥ Jis kī ṯis kī kar mān. Honor the One, to whom everything belongs.
