One Universal Creator God. By The Grace Of The True Guru: ਚਾਰਿ ਪੁਕਾਰਹਿ ਨਾ ਤੂ ਮਾਨਹਿ ॥ चारि पुकारहि ना तू मानहि ॥ Cẖār pukārėh nā ṯū mānėh. The four Vedas proclaim it, but you don't believe them. ਖਟੁ ਭੀ ਏਕਾ ਬਾਤ ਵਖਾਨਹਿ ॥ खटु भी एका बात वखानहि ॥ Kẖat bẖī ekā bāṯ vakẖānėh. The six Shaastras also say one thing. ਦਸ ਅਸਟੀ ਮਿਲਿ ਏਕੋ ਕਹਿਆ ॥ दस असटी मिलि एको कहिआ ॥ Ḏas astī mil eko kahi▫ā. The eighteen Puraanas all speak of the One God. ਤਾ ਭੀ ਜੋਗੀ ਭੇਦੁ ਨ ਲਹਿਆ ॥੧॥ ता भी जोगी भेदु न लहिआ ॥१॥ Ŧā bẖī jogī bẖeḏ na lahi▫ā. ||1|| Even so, Yogi, you do not understand this mystery. ||1|| ਕਿੰਕੁਰੀ ਅਨੂਪ ਵਾਜੈ ॥ किंकुरी अनूप वाजै ॥ Kinkurī anūp vājai. The celestial harp plays the incomparable melody, ਜੋਗੀਆ ਮਤਵਾਰੋ ਰੇ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥ जोगीआ मतवारो रे ॥१॥ रहाउ ॥ Jogī▫ā maṯvāro re. ||1|| rahā▫o. but in your intoxication, you do not hear it, O Yogi. ||1||Pause|| ਪ੍ਰਥਮੇ ਵਸਿਆ ਸਤ ਕਾ ਖੇੜਾ ॥ प्रथमे वसिआ सत का खेड़ा ॥ Parathme vasi▫ā saṯ kā kẖeṛā. In the first age, the Golden Age, the village of truth was inhabited. ਤ੍ਰਿਤੀਏ ਮਹਿ ਕਿਛੁ ਭਇਆ ਦੁਤੇੜਾ ॥ त्रितीए महि किछु भइआ दुतेड़ा ॥ Ŧariṯī▫e mėh kicẖẖ bẖa▫i▫ā ḏuṯeṛā. In the Silver Age of Traytaa Yuga, things began to decline. ਦੁਤੀਆ ਅਰਧੋ ਅਰਧਿ ਸਮਾਇਆ ॥ दुतीआ अरधो अरधि समाइआ ॥ Ḏuṯī▫ā arḏẖo araḏẖ samā▫i▫ā. In the Brass Age of Dwaapur Yuga, half of it was gone. ਏਕੁ ਰਹਿਆ ਤਾ ਏਕੁ ਦਿਖਾਇਆ ॥੨॥ एकु रहिआ ता एकु दिखाइआ ॥२॥ Ėk rahi▫ā ṯā ek ḏikẖā▫i▫ā. ||2|| Now, only one leg of Truth remains, and the One Lord is revealed. ||2|| ਏਕੈ ਸੂਤਿ ਪਰੋਏ ਮਣੀਏ ॥ एकै सूति परोए मणीए ॥ Ėkai sūṯ paro▫e maṇī▫e. The beads are strung upon the one thread. ਗਾਠੀ ਭਿਨਿ ਭਿਨਿ ਭਿਨਿ ਭਿਨਿ ਤਣੀਏ ॥ गाठी भिनि भिनि भिनि भिनि तणीए ॥ Gāṯẖī bẖin bẖin bẖin bẖin ṯaṇī▫e. By means of many, various, diverse knots, they are tied, and kept separate on the string. ਫਿਰਤੀ ਮਾਲਾ ਬਹੁ ਬਿਧਿ ਭਾਇ ॥ फिरती माला बहु बिधि भाइ ॥ Firṯī mālā baho biḏẖ bẖā▫e. The beads of the mala are lovingly chanted upon in many ways. ਖਿੰਚਿਆ ਸੂਤੁ ਤ ਆਈ ਥਾਇ ॥੩॥ खिंचिआ सूतु त आई थाइ ॥३॥ Kẖincẖi▫ā sūṯ ṯa ā▫ī thā▫e. ||3|| When the thread is pulled out, the beads come together in one place. ||3|| ਚਹੁ ਮਹਿ ਏਕੈ ਮਟੁ ਹੈ ਕੀਆ ॥ चहु महि एकै मटु है कीआ ॥ Cẖahu mėh ekai mat hai kī▫ā. Throughout the four ages, the One Lord made the body His temple. ਤਹ ਬਿਖੜੇ ਥਾਨ ਅਨਿਕ ਖਿੜਕੀਆ ॥ तह बिखड़े थान अनिक खिड़कीआ ॥ Ŧah bikẖ▫ṛe thān anik kẖiṛkī▫ā. It is a treacherous place, with several windows. ਖੋਜਤ ਖੋਜਤ ਦੁਆਰੇ ਆਇਆ ॥ खोजत खोजत दुआरे आइआ ॥ Kẖojaṯ kẖojaṯ ḏu▫āre ā▫i▫ā. Searching and searching, one comes to the Lord's door. ਤਾ ਨਾਨਕ ਜੋਗੀ ਮਹਲੁ ਘਰੁ ਪਾਇਆ ॥੪॥ ता नानक जोगी महलु घरु पाइआ ॥४॥ Ŧā Nānak jogī mahal gẖar pā▫i▫ā. ||4|| Then, O Nanak, the Yogi attains a home in the Mansion of the Lord's Presence. ||4|| ਇਉ ਕਿੰਕੁਰੀ ਆਨੂਪ ਵਾਜੈ ॥ इउ किंकुरी आनूप वाजै ॥ I▫o kinkurī ānūp vājai. Thus, the celestial harp plays the incomparable melody; ਸੁਣਿ ਜੋਗੀ ਕੈ ਮਨਿ ਮੀਠੀ ਲਾਗੈ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ਦੂਜਾ ॥੧॥੧੨॥ सुणि जोगी कै मनि मीठी लागै ॥१॥ रहाउ दूजा ॥१॥१२॥ Suṇ jogī kai man mīṯẖī lāgai. ||1|| rahā▫o ḏūjā. ||1||12|| hearing it, the Yogi's mind finds it sweet. ||1||Second Pause||1||12||
