ਨਾਦ ਭ੍ਰਮੇ ਜੈਸੇ ਮਿਰਗਾਏ ॥ नाद भ्रमे जैसे मिरगाए ॥ Nāḏ bẖarame jaise mirgā▫e. The deer is lured by the sound of the hunter's bell; ਗੋਂਡ ॥ गोंड ॥ Gond. Gond: ਐਸੇ ਰਾਮਾ ਐਸੇ ਹੇਰਉ ॥ ऐसे रामा ऐसे हेरउ ॥ Aise rāmā aise hera▫o. In the same way, I look upon my Lord. ਪ੍ਰਾਨ ਤਜੇ ਵਾ ਕੋ ਧਿਆਨੁ ਨ ਜਾਏ ॥੧॥ प्रान तजे वा को धिआनु न जाए ॥१॥ Parān ṯaje vā ko ḏẖi▫ān na jā▫e. ||1|| it loses its life, but it cannot stop thinking about it. ||1|| ਰਾਮੁ ਛੋਡਿ ਚਿਤੁ ਅਨਤ ਨ ਫੇਰਉ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥ रामु छोडि चितु अनत न फेरउ ॥१॥ रहाउ ॥ Rām cẖẖod cẖiṯ anaṯ na fera▫o. ||1|| rahā▫o. I will not abandon my Lord, and turn my thoughts to another. ||1||Pause|| ਜਿਉ ਮੀਨਾ ਹੇਰੈ ਪਸੂਆਰਾ ॥ जिउ मीना हेरै पसूआरा ॥ Ji▫o mīnā herai pasū▫ārā. As the fisherman looks upon the fish, ਸੋਨਾ ਗਢਤੇ ਹਿਰੈ ਸੁਨਾਰਾ ॥੨॥ सोना गढते हिरै सुनारा ॥२॥ Sonā gadẖ▫ṯe hirai sunārā. ||2|| and the goldsmith looks upon the gold he fashions;||2|| ਜਿਉ ਬਿਖਈ ਹੇਰੈ ਪਰ ਨਾਰੀ ॥ जिउ बिखई हेरै पर नारी ॥ Ji▫o bikẖ▫ī herai par nārī. As the man driven by sex looks upon another man's wife, ਕਉਡਾ ਡਾਰਤ ਹਿਰੈ ਜੁਆਰੀ ॥੩॥ कउडा डारत हिरै जुआरी ॥३॥ Ka▫udā dāraṯ hirai ju▫ārī. ||3|| and the gambler looks upon the throwing of the dice -||3|| ਜਹ ਜਹ ਦੇਖਉ ਤਹ ਤਹ ਰਾਮਾ ॥ जह जह देखउ तह तह रामा ॥ Jah jah ḏekẖ▫a▫u ṯah ṯah rāmā. In the same way, wherever Naam Dayv looks, he sees the Lord.
