ਗੁਰਿ ਪੂਰੈ ਹਰਿ ਨਾਮੁ ਦਿੜਾਇਆ ਤਿਨਿ ਵਿਚਹੁ ਭਰਮੁ ਚੁਕਾਇਆ ॥ गुरि पूरै हरि नामु दिड़ाइआ तिनि विचहु भरमु चुकाइआ ॥ Gur pūrai har nām ḏiṛā▫i▫ā ṯin vicẖahu bẖaram cẖukā▫i▫ā. The Perfect Guru has implanted the Name of the Lord within me. It has dispelled my doubts from within. ਮਃ ੩ ॥ मः ३ ॥ Mėhlā 3. Third Mehl: ਹਉਮੈ ਮਾਰਿ ਏਕ ਲਿਵ ਲਾਗੀ ਅੰਤਰਿ ਨਾਮੁ ਵਸਾਇਆ ॥ हउमै मारि एक लिव लागी अंतरि नामु वसाइआ ॥ Ha▫umai mār ek liv lāgī anṯar nām vasā▫i▫ā. Conquering my ego, I am lovingly focused on the One Lord; the Naam has come to dwell within me. ਰਾਮ ਨਾਮੁ ਹਰਿ ਕੀਰਤਿ ਗਾਈ ਕਰਿ ਚਾਨਣੁ ਮਗੁ ਦਿਖਾਇਆ ॥ राम नामु हरि कीरति गाई करि चानणु मगु दिखाइआ ॥ Rām nām har kīraṯ gā▫ī kar cẖānaṇ mag ḏikẖā▫i▫ā. I sing the Lord's Name and the Kirtan of the Lord's Praises; the Divine Light shines, and now I see the Way. ਗੁਰਮਤੀ ਜਮੁ ਜੋਹਿ ਨ ਸਾਕੈ ਸਾਚੈ ਨਾਮਿ ਸਮਾਇਆ ॥ गुरमती जमु जोहि न साकै साचै नामि समाइआ ॥ Gurmaṯī jam johi na sākai sācẖai nām samā▫i▫ā. Following the Guru's Teachings, I cannot be touched by the Messenger of Death. I am absorbed in the True Name. ਸਭੁ ਆਪੇ ਆਪਿ ਵਰਤੈ ਕਰਤਾ ਜੋ ਭਾਵੈ ਸੋ ਨਾਇ ਲਾਇਆ ॥ सभु आपे आपि वरतै करता जो भावै सो नाइ लाइआ ॥ Sabẖ āpe āp varṯai karṯā jo bẖāvai so nā▫e lā▫i▫ā. The Creator Himself is All-pervading everywhere; He links those with whom He is pleased to His Name. ਜਨ ਨਾਨਕੁ ਨਾਮੁ ਲਏ ਤਾ ਜੀਵੈ ਬਿਨੁ ਨਾਵੈ ਖਿਨੁ ਮਰਿ ਜਾਇਆ ॥੨॥ जन नानकु नामु लए ता जीवै बिनु नावै खिनु मरि जाइआ ॥२॥ Jan Nānak nām la▫e ṯā jīvai bin nāvai kẖin mar jā▫i▫ā. ||2|| Servant Nanak chants the Naam, and so he lives. Without the Name, he would die in an instant. ||2||
