ਪਉੜੀ ॥ पउड़ी ॥ Pa▫oṛī. Pauree: ਹਰਿ ਕੀ ਸੇਵਾ ਸਫਲ ਹੈ ਗੁਰਮੁਖਿ ਪਾਵੈ ਥਾਇ ॥ हरि की सेवा सफल है गुरमुखि पावै थाइ ॥ Har kī sevā safal hai gurmukẖ pāvai thā▫e. Service to the Lord is fruitful; through it, the Gurmukh is honored and approved. ਜਿਸੁ ਹਰਿ ਭਾਵੈ ਤਿਸੁ ਗੁਰੁ ਮਿਲੈ ਸੋ ਹਰਿ ਨਾਮੁ ਧਿਆਇ ॥ जिसु हरि भावै तिसु गुरु मिलै सो हरि नामु धिआइ ॥ Jis har bẖāvai ṯis gur milai so har nām ḏẖi▫ā▫e. That person, with whom the Lord is pleased, meets with the Guru, and meditates on the Name of the Lord. ਗੁਰ ਸਬਦੀ ਹਰਿ ਪਾਈਐ ਹਰਿ ਪਾਰਿ ਲਘਾਇ ॥ गुर सबदी हरि पाईऐ हरि पारि लघाइ ॥ Gur sabḏī har pā▫ī▫ai har pār lagẖā▫e. Through the Word of the Guru's Shabad, the Lord is found. The Lord carries us across. ਮਨਹਠਿ ਕਿਨੈ ਨ ਪਾਇਓ ਪੁਛਹੁ ਵੇਦਾ ਜਾਇ ॥ मनहठि किनै न पाइओ पुछहु वेदा जाइ ॥ Manhaṯẖ kinai na pā▫i▫o pucẖẖahu veḏā jā▫e. Through stubborn-mindedness, none have found Him; go and consult the Vedas on this. ਨਾਨਕ ਹਰਿ ਕੀ ਸੇਵਾ ਸੋ ਕਰੇ ਜਿਸੁ ਲਏ ਹਰਿ ਲਾਇ ॥੧੦॥ नानक हरि की सेवा सो करे जिसु लए हरि लाइ ॥१०॥ Nānak har kī sevā so kare jis la▫e har lā▫e. ||10|| O Nanak, he alone serves the Lord, whom the Lord attaches to Himself. ||10||
