ਜਿਸੁ ਊਪਰਿ ਹੋਵਤ ਦਇਆਲੁ ॥ जिसु ऊपरि होवत दइआलु ॥ Jis oopar hovaṫ ḋa▫i▫aal. One who is blessed by the Lord’s Mercy, ਬਿਲਾਵਲੁ ਮਹਲਾ ੫ ॥ बिलावलु महला ५ ॥ Bilaaval mėhlaa 5. Bilaaval, Fifth Mehl: ਹਰਿ ਸਿਮਰਤ ਕਾਟੈ ਸੋ ਕਾਲੁ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥ हरि सिमरत काटै सो कालु ॥१॥ रहाउ ॥ Har simraṫ kaatæ so kaal. ||1|| rahaa▫o. passes his time in contemplative meditation. ||1||Pause|| ਸਾਧਸੰਗਿ ਭਜੀਐ ਗੋਪਾਲੁ ॥ साधसंगि भजीऐ गोपालु ॥ Saaḋʰsang bʰajee▫æ gopaal. In the Saadh Sangat, the Company of the Holy, meditate, and vibrate upon the Lord of the Universe. ਨਾਨਕੁ ਜਾਚੈ ਸਾਧ ਰਵਾਲ ॥੨॥੬॥੨੪॥ नानकु जाचै साध रवाल ॥२॥६॥२४॥ Naanak jaachæ saaḋʰ ravaal. ||2||6||24|| Nanak begs for the dust of the feet of the Holy. ||2||6||24|| ਆਪੇ ਸਤਿਗੁਰੁ ਆਪੇ ਪ੍ਰਤਿਪਾਲ ॥ आपे सतिगुरु आपे प्रतिपाल ॥ Aapé saṫgur aapé parṫipaal. He Himself is the True Guru, and He Himself is the Cherisher. ਗੁਨ ਗਾਵਤ ਤੂਟੈ ਜਮ ਜਾਲੁ ॥੧॥ गुन गावत तूटै जम जालु ॥१॥ Gun gaavaṫ ṫootæ jam jaal. ||1|| Singing the Glorious Praises of the Lord, the noose of death is cut away. ||1||
