ਚਰਨ ਕਮਲ ਸਿਉ ਪ੍ਰੀਤਿ ਰੀਤਿ ਸੰਤਨ ਮਨਿ ਆਵਏ ਜੀਉ ॥ चरन कमल सिउ प्रीति रीति संतन मनि आवए जीउ ॥ Charan kamal si▫o pareeṫ reeṫ sanṫan man aav▫é jee▫o. To love the Lotus Feet of the Lord-this way of life has come into the minds of His Saints. ਛੰਤੁ ॥ छंतु ॥ Chʰanṫ. Chhant: ਦਾਸਾ ਨਹ ਭਾਵਏ ਬਿਨੁ ਦਰਸਾਵਏ ਇਕ ਖਿਨੁ ਧੀਰਜੁ ਕਿਉ ਕਰੈ ॥ दासा नह भावए बिनु दरसावए इक खिनु धीरजु किउ करै ॥ Ḋaasaa nah bʰaav▫é bin ḋarsaav▫é ik kʰin ḋʰeeraj ki▫o karæ. It is not pleasing to the Lord’s slaves; without the Blessed Vision of the Lord’s Darshan, how can they find peace, even for a moment? ਦੁਤੀਆ ਭਾਉ ਬਿਪਰੀਤਿ ਅਨੀਤਿ ਦਾਸਾ ਨਹ ਭਾਵਏ ਜੀਉ ॥ दुतीआ भाउ बिपरीति अनीति दासा नह भावए जीउ ॥ Ḋuṫee▫aa bʰaa▫o bipreeṫ aneeṫ ḋaasaa nah bʰaav▫é jee▫o. The love of duality, this evil practice, this bad habit, is not liked by the Lord’s slaves. ਨਾਮ ਬਿਹੂਨਾ ਤਨੁ ਮਨੁ ਹੀਨਾ ਜਲ ਬਿਨੁ ਮਛੁਲੀ ਜਿਉ ਮਰੈ ॥ नाम बिहूना तनु मनु हीना जल बिनु मछुली जिउ मरै ॥ Naam bihoonaa ṫan man heenaa jal bin machʰulee ji▫o maræ. Without the Naam, the Name of the Lord, the body and mind are empty; like fish out of water, they die. ਮਿਲੁ ਮੇਰੇ ਪਿਆਰੇ ਪ੍ਰਾਨ ਅਧਾਰੇ ਗੁਣ ਸਾਧਸੰਗਿ ਮਿਲਿ ਗਾਵਏ ॥ मिलु मेरे पिआरे प्रान अधारे गुण साधसंगि मिलि गावए ॥ Mil méré pi▫aaré paraan aḋʰaaré guṇ saaḋʰsang mil gaav▫é. Please meet with me, O my Beloved-You are the Support of my breath of life. Joining the Saadh Sangat, the Company of the Holy, I sing Your Glorious Praises. ਨਾਨਕ ਕੇ ਸੁਆਮੀ ਧਾਰਿ ਅਨੁਗ੍ਰਹੁ ਮਨਿ ਤਨਿ ਅੰਕਿ ਸਮਾਵਏ ॥੧॥ नानक के सुआमी धारि अनुग्रहु मनि तनि अंकि समावए ॥१॥ Naanak ké su▫aamee ḋʰaar anoograhu man ṫan ank samaav▫é. ||1|| O Lord and Master of Nanak, please grant Your Grace, and permeate my body, mind and being. ||1||
