ਸੂਹੈ ਵੇਸਿ ਦੋਹਾਗਣੀ ਪਰ ਪਿਰੁ ਰਾਵਣ ਜਾਇ ॥ सूहै वेसि दोहागणी पर पिरु रावण जाइ ॥ Sūhai ves ḏuhāgaṇī par pir rāvaṇ jā▫e. In her red robes, the discarded bride goes out, seeking enjoyment with another's husband. ਸਲੋਕੁ ਮਃ ੩ ॥ सलोकु मः ३ ॥ Salok mėhlā 3. Shalok, Third Mehl: ਮਿਠਾ ਕਰਿ ਕੈ ਖਾਇਆ ਬਹੁ ਸਾਦਹੁ ਵਧਿਆ ਰੋਗੁ ॥ मिठा करि कै खाइआ बहु सादहु वधिआ रोगु ॥ Miṯẖā kar kai kẖā▫i▫ā baho sāḏahu vaḏẖi▫ā rog. She finds it sweet, and eats it up; her excessive sensuality only makes her disease worse. ਪਿਰੁ ਛੋਡਿਆ ਘਰਿ ਆਪਣੈ ਮੋਹੀ ਦੂਜੈ ਭਾਇ ॥ पिरु छोडिआ घरि आपणै मोही दूजै भाइ ॥ Pir cẖẖodi▫ā gẖar āpṇai mohī ḏūjai bẖā▫e. She leaves the husband of her own home, enticed by her love of duality. ਸੁਧੁ ਭਤਾਰੁ ਹਰਿ ਛੋਡਿਆ ਫਿਰਿ ਲਗਾ ਜਾਇ ਵਿਜੋਗੁ ॥ सुधु भतारु हरि छोडिआ फिरि लगा जाइ विजोगु ॥ Suḏẖ bẖaṯār har cẖẖodi▫ā fir lagā jā▫e vijog. She forsakes the Lord, her sublime Husband, and then later, she suffers the pain of separation from Him. ਗੁਰਮੁਖਿ ਹੋਵੈ ਸੁ ਪਲਟਿਆ ਹਰਿ ਰਾਤੀ ਸਾਜਿ ਸੀਗਾਰਿ ॥ गुरमुखि होवै सु पलटिआ हरि राती साजि सीगारि ॥ Gurmukẖ hovai so palti▫ā har rāṯī sāj sīgār. But she who becomes Gurmukh, turns away from corruption and adorns herself, attuned to the Love of the Lord. ਸਹਜਿ ਸਚੁ ਪਿਰੁ ਰਾਵਿਆ ਹਰਿ ਨਾਮਾ ਉਰ ਧਾਰਿ ॥ सहजि सचु पिरु राविआ हरि नामा उर धारि ॥ Sahj sacẖ pir rāvi▫ā har nāmā ur ḏẖār. She enjoys her celestial Husband Lord, and enshrines the Lord's Name within her heart. ਆਗਿਆਕਾਰੀ ਸਦਾ ਸੋੁਹਾਗਣਿ ਆਪਿ ਮੇਲੀ ਕਰਤਾਰਿ ॥ आगिआकारी सदा सोहागणि आपि मेली करतारि ॥ Āgi▫ākārī saḏā sohagaṇ āp melī karṯār. She is humble and obedient; she is His virtuous bride forever; the Creator unites her with Himself. ਨਾਨਕ ਪਿਰੁ ਪਾਇਆ ਹਰਿ ਸਾਚਾ ਸਦਾ ਸੋੁਹਾਗਣਿ ਨਾਰਿ ॥੧॥ नानक पिरु पाइआ हरि साचा सदा सोहागणि नारि ॥१॥ Nānak pir pā▫i▫ā har sācẖā saḏā sohagaṇ nār. ||1|| O Nanak, she who has obtained the True Lord as her husband, is a happy soul-bride forever. ||1||
