ੴ ਸਤਿਗੁਰ ਪ੍ਰਸਾਦਿ ॥ ੴ सतिगुर प्रसादि ॥ Ik▫oaʼnkār saṯgur parsāḏ. One Universal Creator God. By The Grace Of The True Guru: ਰਾਗੁ ਸੂਹੀ ਛੰਤ ਮਹਲਾ ੩ ਘਰੁ ੨ रागु सूही छंत महला ३ घरु २ Rāg sūhī cẖẖanṯ mėhlā 3 gẖar 2 Raag Soohee, Chhant, Third Mehl, Second House: ਗੁਰਮੁਖਿ ਹਰਿ ਫਲੁ ਪਾਵਹੁ ॥ गुरमुखि हरि फलु पावहु ॥ Gurmukẖ har fal pāvhu. As Gurmukh, obtain the Lord's fruitful rewards. ਗੁਰਮੁਖਿ ਫਲੁ ਪਾਵਹੁ ਹਰਿ ਨਾਮੁ ਧਿਆਵਹੁ ਜਨਮ ਜਨਮ ਕੇ ਦੂਖ ਨਿਵਾਰੇ ॥ गुरमुखि फलु पावहु हरि नामु धिआवहु जनम जनम के दूख निवारे ॥ Gurmukẖ fal pāvhu har nām ḏẖi▫āvahu janam janam ke ḏūkẖ nivāre. As Gurmukh, obtain the fruit of the Lord, and meditate on the Lord's Name; the pains of countless lifetimes shall be erased. ਸੁਖ ਸੋਹਿਲੜਾ ਹਰਿ ਧਿਆਵਹੁ ॥ सुख सोहिलड़ा हरि धिआवहु ॥ Sukẖ sohilṛā har ḏẖi▫āvahu. Meditate on the Lord, and find peace and pleasure. ਬਲਿਹਾਰੀ ਗੁਰ ਅਪਣੇ ਵਿਟਹੁ ਜਿਨਿ ਕਾਰਜ ਸਭਿ ਸਵਾਰੇ ॥ बलिहारी गुर अपणे विटहु जिनि कारज सभि सवारे ॥ Balihārī gur apṇe vitahu jin kāraj sabẖ savāre. I am a sacrifice to my Guru, who has arranged and resolved all my affairs. ਹਰਿ ਪ੍ਰਭੁ ਕ੍ਰਿਪਾ ਕਰੇ ਹਰਿ ਜਾਪਹੁ ਸੁਖ ਫਲ ਹਰਿ ਜਨ ਪਾਵਹੁ ॥ हरि प्रभु क्रिपा करे हरि जापहु सुख फल हरि जन पावहु ॥ Har parabẖ kirpā kare har jāpahu sukẖ fal har jan pāvhu. The Lord God will bestow His Grace, if you meditate on the Lord; O humble servant of the Lord, you shall obtain the fruit of peace. ਨਾਨਕੁ ਕਹੈ ਸੁਣਹੁ ਜਨ ਭਾਈ ਸੁਖ ਸੋਹਿਲੜਾ ਹਰਿ ਧਿਆਵਹੁ ॥੧॥ नानकु कहै सुणहु जन भाई सुख सोहिलड़ा हरि धिआवहु ॥१॥ Nānak kahai suṇhu jan bẖā▫ī sukẖ sohilṛā har ḏẖi▫āvahu. ||1|| Says Nanak, listen O humble Sibling of Destiny: meditate on the Lord, and find peace and pleasure. ||1|| ਸੁਣਿ ਹਰਿ ਗੁਣ ਭੀਨੇ ਸਹਜਿ ਸੁਭਾਏ ॥ सुणि हरि गुण भीने सहजि सुभाए ॥ Suṇ har guṇ bẖīne sahj subẖā▫e. Hearing the Glorious Praises of the Lord, I am intuitively drenched with His Love. ਗੁਰਮਤਿ ਸਹਜੇ ਨਾਮੁ ਧਿਆਏ ॥ गुरमति सहजे नामु धिआए ॥ Gurmaṯ sėhje nām ḏẖi▫ā▫e. Under Guru's Instruction, I meditate intuitively on the Naam. ਜਿਨ ਕਉ ਧੁਰਿ ਲਿਖਿਆ ਤਿਨ ਗੁਰੁ ਮਿਲਿਆ ਤਿਨ ਜਨਮ ਮਰਣ ਭਉ ਭਾਗਾ ॥ जिन कउ धुरि लिखिआ तिन गुरु मिलिआ तिन जनम मरण भउ भागा ॥ Jin ka▫o ḏẖur likẖi▫ā ṯin gur mili▫ā ṯin janam maraṇ bẖa▫o bẖāgā. Those who have such pre-ordained destiny, meet the Guru, and their fears of birth and death leave them. ਅੰਦਰਹੁ ਦੁਰਮਤਿ ਦੂਜੀ ਖੋਈ ਸੋ ਜਨੁ ਹਰਿ ਲਿਵ ਲਾਗਾ ॥ अंदरहु दुरमति दूजी खोई सो जनु हरि लिव लागा ॥ Anḏrahu ḏurmaṯ ḏūjī kẖo▫ī so jan har liv lāgā. One who eliminates evil-mindedness and duality from within himself, that humble being lovingly focuses his mind on the Lord. ਜਿਨ ਕਉ ਕ੍ਰਿਪਾ ਕੀਨੀ ਮੇਰੈ ਸੁਆਮੀ ਤਿਨ ਅਨਦਿਨੁ ਹਰਿ ਗੁਣ ਗਾਏ ॥ जिन कउ क्रिपा कीनी मेरै सुआमी तिन अनदिनु हरि गुण गाए ॥ Jin ka▫o kirpā kīnī merai su▫āmī ṯin an▫ḏin har guṇ gā▫e. Those, upon whom my Lord and Master bestows His Grace, sing the Glorious Praises of the Lord, night and day. ਸੁਣਿ ਮਨ ਭੀਨੇ ਸਹਜਿ ਸੁਭਾਏ ॥੨॥ सुणि मन भीने सहजि सुभाए ॥२॥ Suṇ man bẖīne sahj subẖā▫e. ||2|| Hearing the Glorious Praises of the Lord, I am intuitively drenched with His Love. ||2|| ਜੁਗ ਮਹਿ ਰਾਮ ਨਾਮੁ ਨਿਸਤਾਰਾ ॥ जुग महि राम नामु निसतारा ॥ Jug mėh rām nām nisṯārā. In this age, emancipation comes only from the Lord's Name. ਗੁਰ ਤੇ ਉਪਜੈ ਸਬਦੁ ਵੀਚਾਰਾ ॥ गुर ते उपजै सबदु वीचारा ॥ Gur ṯe upjai sabaḏ vīcẖārā. Contemplative meditation on the Word of the Shabad emanates from the Guru. ਗੁਰ ਸਬਦੁ ਵੀਚਾਰਾ ਰਾਮ ਨਾਮੁ ਪਿਆਰਾ ਜਿਸੁ ਕਿਰਪਾ ਕਰੇ ਸੁ ਪਾਏ ॥ गुर सबदु वीचारा राम नामु पिआरा जिसु किरपा करे सु पाए ॥ Gur sabaḏ vīcẖārā rām nām pi▫ārā jis kirpā kare so pā▫e. Contemplating the Guru's Shabad, one comes to love the Lord's Name; he alone obtains it, unto whom the Lord shows Mercy. ਸਹਜੇ ਗੁਣ ਗਾਵੈ ਦਿਨੁ ਰਾਤੀ ਕਿਲਵਿਖ ਸਭਿ ਗਵਾਏ ॥ सहजे गुण गावै दिनु राती किलविख सभि गवाए ॥ Sėhje guṇ gāvai ḏin rāṯī kilvikẖ sabẖ gavā▫e. In peace and poise, he sings the Lord's Praises day and night, and all sins are eradicated. ਸਭੁ ਕੋ ਤੇਰਾ ਤੂ ਸਭਨਾ ਕਾ ਹਉ ਤੇਰਾ ਤੂ ਹਮਾਰਾ ॥ सभु को तेरा तू सभना का हउ तेरा तू हमारा ॥ Sabẖ ko ṯerā ṯū sabẖnā kā ha▫o ṯerā ṯū hamārā. All are Yours, and You belong to all. I am Yours, and You are mine. ਜੁਗ ਮਹਿ ਰਾਮ ਨਾਮੁ ਨਿਸਤਾਰਾ ॥੩॥ जुग महि राम नामु निसतारा ॥३॥ Jug mėh rām nām nisṯārā. ||3|| In this age, emancipation comes only from the Lord's Name. ||3|| ਸਾਜਨ ਆਇ ਵੁਠੇ ਘਰ ਮਾਹੀ ॥ साजन आइ वुठे घर माही ॥ Sājan ā▫e vuṯẖe gẖar māhī. The Lord, my Friend has come to dwell within the home of my heart; ਹਰਿ ਗੁਣ ਗਾਵਹਿ ਤ੍ਰਿਪਤਿ ਅਘਾਹੀ ॥ हरि गुण गावहि त्रिपति अघाही ॥ Har guṇ gāvahi ṯaripaṯ agẖāhī. singing the Glorious Praises of the Lord, one is satisfied and fulfilled. ਹਰਿ ਗੁਣ ਗਾਇ ਸਦਾ ਤ੍ਰਿਪਤਾਸੀ ਫਿਰਿ ਭੂਖ ਨ ਲਾਗੈ ਆਏ ॥ हरि गुण गाइ सदा त्रिपतासी फिरि भूख न लागै आए ॥ Har guṇ gā▫e saḏā ṯaripṯāsī fir bẖūkẖ na lāgai ā▫e. Singing the Glorious Praises of the Lord, one is satisfied forever, never to feel hunger again. ਦਹ ਦਿਸਿ ਪੂਜ ਹੋਵੈ ਹਰਿ ਜਨ ਕੀ ਜੋ ਹਰਿ ਹਰਿ ਨਾਮੁ ਧਿਆਏ ॥ दह दिसि पूज होवै हरि जन की जो हरि हरि नामु धिआए ॥ Ḏah ḏis pūj hovai har jan kī jo har har nām ḏẖi▫ā▫e. That humble servant of the Lord, who meditates on the Name of the Lord, Har, Har, is worshipped in the ten directions. ਨਾਨਕ ਹਰਿ ਆਪੇ ਜੋੜਿ ਵਿਛੋੜੇ ਹਰਿ ਬਿਨੁ ਕੋ ਦੂਜਾ ਨਾਹੀ ॥ नानक हरि आपे जोड़ि विछोड़े हरि बिनु को दूजा नाही ॥ Nānak har āpe joṛ vicẖẖoṛe har bin ko ḏūjā nāhī. O Nanak, He Himself joins and separates; there is no other than the Lord. ਸਾਜਨ ਆਇ ਵੁਠੇ ਘਰ ਮਾਹੀ ॥੪॥੧॥ साजन आइ वुठे घर माही ॥४॥१॥ Sājan ā▫e vuṯẖe gẖar māhī. ||4||1|| The Lord, my Friend has come to dwell within the home of my heart. ||4||1||
