ਜਾ ਕੈ ਦਰਸਿ ਪਾਪ ਕੋਟਿ ਉਤਾਰੇ ॥ जा कै दरसि पाप कोटि उतारे ॥ Jaa kæ ḋaras paap kot uṫaaré. By the Blessed Vision of their Darshan, millions of sins are erased. ਸੂਹੀ ਮਹਲਾ ੫ ॥ सूही महला ५ ॥ Soohee mėhlaa 5. Soohee, Fifth Mehl: ਭੇਟਤ ਸੰਗਿ ਇਹੁ ਭਵਜਲੁ ਤਾਰੇ ॥੧॥ भेटत संगि इहु भवजलु तारे ॥१॥ Bʰétaṫ sang ih bʰavjal ṫaaré. ||1|| Meeting with them, this terrifying world-ocean is crossed over||1|| ਓਇ ਸਾਜਨ ਓਇ ਮੀਤ ਪਿਆਰੇ ॥ ओइ साजन ओइ मीत पिआरे ॥ O▫é saajan o▫é meeṫ pi▫aaré. They are my companions, and they are my dear friends, ਜੋ ਹਮ ਕਉ ਹਰਿ ਨਾਮੁ ਚਿਤਾਰੇ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥ जो हम कउ हरि नामु चितारे ॥१॥ रहाउ ॥ Jo ham ka▫o har naam chiṫaaré. ||1|| rahaa▫o. who inspire me to remember the Lord’s Name. ||1||Pause|| ਜਾ ਕਾ ਸਬਦੁ ਸੁਨਤ ਸੁਖ ਸਾਰੇ ॥ जा का सबदु सुनत सुख सारे ॥ Jaa kaa sabaḋ sunaṫ sukʰ saaré. Hearing the Word of His Shabad, I am totally at peace. ਜਾ ਕੀ ਟਹਲ ਜਮਦੂਤ ਬਿਦਾਰੇ ॥੨॥ जा की टहल जमदूत बिदारे ॥२॥ Jaa kee tahal jamḋooṫ biḋaaré. ||2|| When I serve Him, the Messenger of Death is chased away. ||2|| ਜਾ ਕੀ ਧੀਰਕ ਇਸੁ ਮਨਹਿ ਸਧਾਰੇ ॥ जा की धीरक इसु मनहि सधारे ॥ Jaa kee ḋʰeerak is manėh saḋʰaaré. His comfort and consolation soothes and supports my mind. ਪ੍ਰਭ ਕੇ ਸੇਵਕ ਪ੍ਰਭਿ ਆਪਿ ਸਵਾਰੇ ॥ प्रभ के सेवक प्रभि आपि सवारे ॥ Parabʰ ké sévak parabʰ aap savaaré. God embellishes and supports His servants. ਸਰਣਿ ਨਾਨਕ ਤਿਨੑ ਸਦ ਬਲਿਹਾਰੇ ॥੪॥੭॥੧੩॥ सरणि नानक तिन्ह सद बलिहारे ॥४॥७॥१३॥ Saraṇ Naanak ṫinĥ saḋ balihaaré. ||4||7||13|| Nanak seeks the Protection of their Sanctuary; he is forever a sacrifice to them. ||4||7||13|| ਜਾ ਕੈ ਸਿਮਰਣਿ ਮੁਖ ਉਜਲਾਰੇ ॥੩॥ जा कै सिमरणि मुख उजलारे ॥३॥ Jaa kæ simraṇ mukʰ ujlaaré. ||3|| Remembering Him in meditation, my face is radiant and bright. ||3||
