ਪ੍ਰਭ ਜੀ ਕੋ ਨਾਮੁ ਮਨਹਿ ਸਾਧਾਰੈ ॥ प्रभ जी को नामु मनहि साधारै ॥ Parabẖ jī ko nām manėh saḏẖārai. The Naam, the Name of the Dear Lord, is the Support of my mind. ਟੋਡੀ ਮਹਲਾ ੫ ॥ टोडी महला ५ ॥ Todī mėhlā 5. Todee, Fifth Mehl: ਜੀਅ ਪ੍ਰਾਨ ਸੂਖ ਇਸੁ ਮਨ ਕਉ ਬਰਤਨਿ ਏਹ ਹਮਾਰੈ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥ जीअ प्रान सूख इसु मन कउ बरतनि एह हमारै ॥१॥ रहाउ ॥ Jī▫a parān sūkẖ is man ka▫o barṯan eh hamārai. ||1|| rahā▫o. It is my life, my breath of life, my peace of mind; for me, it is an article of daily use. ||1||Pause|| ਨਾਮੁ ਜਾਤਿ ਨਾਮੁ ਮੇਰੀ ਪਤਿ ਹੈ ਨਾਮੁ ਮੇਰੈ ਪਰਵਾਰੈ ॥ नामु जाति नामु मेरी पति है नामु मेरै परवारै ॥ Nām jāṯ nām merī paṯ hai nām merai parvārai. The Naam is my social status, the Naam is my honor; the Naam is my family. ਨਾਮੁ ਸਖਾਈ ਸਦਾ ਮੇਰੈ ਸੰਗਿ ਹਰਿ ਨਾਮੁ ਮੋ ਕਉ ਨਿਸਤਾਰੈ ॥੧॥ नामु सखाई सदा मेरै संगि हरि नामु मो कउ निसतारै ॥१॥ Nām sakẖā▫ī saḏā merai sang har nām mo ka▫o nisṯārai. ||1|| The Naam is my companion; it is always with me. The Lord's Name is my emancipation. ||1|| ਬਿਖੈ ਬਿਲਾਸ ਕਹੀਅਤ ਬਹੁਤੇਰੇ ਚਲਤ ਨ ਕਛੂ ਸੰਗਾਰੈ ॥ बिखै बिलास कहीअत बहुतेरे चलत न कछू संगारै ॥ Bikẖai bilās kahī▫aṯ bahuṯere cẖalaṯ na kacẖẖū sangāre. Sensual pleasures are talked about a lot, but none of them goes along with anyone in the end. ਇਸਟੁ ਮੀਤੁ ਨਾਮੁ ਨਾਨਕ ਕੋ ਹਰਿ ਨਾਮੁ ਮੇਰੈ ਭੰਡਾਰੈ ॥੨॥੨॥੭॥ इसटु मीतु नामु नानक को हरि नामु मेरै भंडारै ॥२॥२॥७॥ Isat mīṯ nām Nānak ko har nām merai bẖandārai. ||2||2||7|| The Naam is Nanak's dearest friend; the Lord's Name is my treasure. ||2||2||7||
