ਹਮ ਅੰਧੁਲੇ ਅੰਧ ਬਿਖੈ ਬਿਖੁ ਰਾਤੇ ਕਿਉ ਚਾਲਹ ਗੁਰ ਚਾਲੀ ॥ हम अंधुले अंध बिखै बिखु राते किउ चालह गुर चाली ॥ Ham anḋʰulé anḋʰ bikʰæ bikʰ raaṫé ki▫o chaalah gur chaalee. I am blind, totally blind, entangled in corruption and poison. How can I walk on the Guru’s Path? ਧਨਾਸਰੀ ਮਹਲਾ ੪ ॥ धनासरी महला ४ ॥ Ḋʰanaasree mėhlaa 4. Dhanaasaree, Fourth Mehl: ਗੁਰਸਿਖ ਮੀਤ ਚਲਹੁ ਗੁਰ ਚਾਲੀ ॥ गुरसिख मीत चलहु गुर चाली ॥ Gursikʰ meeṫ chalhu gur chaalee. O Sikhs of the Guru, O friends, walk on the Guru’s Path. ਸਤਗੁਰੁ ਦਇਆ ਕਰੇ ਸੁਖਦਾਤਾ ਹਮ ਲਾਵੈ ਆਪਨ ਪਾਲੀ ॥੧॥ सतगुरु दइआ करे सुखदाता हम लावै आपन पाली ॥१॥ Saṫgur ḋa▫i▫aa karé sukʰ▫ḋaaṫa ham laavæ aapan paalee. ||1|| If the True Guru, the Giver of peace, shows His kindness, He attaches us to the hem of His robe. ||1|| ਜੋ ਗੁਰੁ ਕਹੈ ਸੋਈ ਭਲ ਮਾਨਹੁ ਹਰਿ ਹਰਿ ਕਥਾ ਨਿਰਾਲੀ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥ जो गुरु कहै सोई भल मानहु हरि हरि कथा निराली ॥१॥ रहाउ ॥ Jo gur kahæ so▫ee bʰal maanhu har har kaṫʰaa niraalee. ||1|| rahaa▫o. Whatever the Guru says, accept that as good; the sermon of the Lord, Har, Har, is unique and wonderful. ||1||Pause|| ਹਰਿ ਕੇ ਸੰਤ ਸੁਣਹੁ ਜਨ ਭਾਈ ਗੁਰੁ ਸੇਵਿਹੁ ਬੇਗਿ ਬੇਗਾਲੀ ॥ हरि के संत सुणहु जन भाई गुरु सेविहु बेगि बेगाली ॥ Har ké sanṫ suṇhu jan bʰaa▫ee gur sévihu bég bégaalee. O Saints of the Lord, O Siblings of Destiny, listen: serve the Guru, quickly now! ਸਤਗੁਰੁ ਸੇਵਿ ਖਰਚੁ ਹਰਿ ਬਾਧਹੁ ਮਤ ਜਾਣਹੁ ਆਜੁ ਕਿ ਕਾਲੑੀ ॥੨॥ सतगुरु सेवि खरचु हरि बाधहु मत जाणहु आजु कि काल्ही ॥२॥ Saṫgur sév kʰarach har baaḋʰhu maṫ jaaṇhu aaj kė kaalĥee. ||2|| Let your service to the True Guru be your supplies on the Lord’s Path; pack them up, and don’t think of today or tomorrow. ||2|| ਹਰਿ ਕੇ ਸੰਤ ਜਪਹੁ ਹਰਿ ਜਪਣਾ ਹਰਿ ਸੰਤੁ ਚਲੈ ਹਰਿ ਨਾਲੀ ॥ हरि के संत जपहु हरि जपणा हरि संतु चलै हरि नाली ॥ Har ké sanṫ japahu har japṇaa har sanṫ chalæ har naalee. O Saints of the Lord, chant the chant of the Lord’s Name; the Lord’s Saints walk with the Lord. ਜਿਨ ਹਰਿ ਜਪਿਆ ਸੇ ਹਰਿ ਹੋਏ ਹਰਿ ਮਿਲਿਆ ਕੇਲ ਕੇਲਾਲੀ ॥੩॥ जिन हरि जपिआ से हरि होए हरि मिलिआ केल केलाली ॥३॥ Jin har japi▫aa sé har ho▫é har mili▫aa kél kélaalee. ||3|| Those who meditate on the Lord, become the Lord; the playful, wondrous Lord meets them. ||3|| ਹਰਿ ਹਰਿ ਜਪਨੁ ਜਪਿ ਲੋਚ ਲੋੁਚਾਨੀ ਹਰਿ ਕਿਰਪਾ ਕਰਿ ਬਨਵਾਲੀ ॥ हरि हरि जपनु जपि लोच लुोचानी हरि किरपा करि बनवाली ॥ Har har japan jap loch lochaanee har kirpaa kar banvaalee. To chant the chant of the Lord’s Name, Har, Har, is the longing I long for; have Mercy upon me, O Lord of the world-forest. ਜਨ ਨਾਨਕ ਸੰਗਤਿ ਸਾਧ ਹਰਿ ਮੇਲਹੁ ਹਮ ਸਾਧ ਜਨਾ ਪਗ ਰਾਲੀ ॥੪॥੪॥ जन नानक संगति साध हरि मेलहु हम साध जना पग राली ॥४॥४॥ Jan Naanak sangaṫ saaḋʰ har mélhu ham saaḋʰ janaa pag raalee. ||4||4|| O Lord, unite servant Nanak with the Saadh Sangat, the Company of the Holy; make me the dust of the feet of the Holy. ||4||4|| ਹਰਿ ਹਰਿ ਬੂੰਦ ਭਏ ਹਰਿ ਸੁਆਮੀ ਹਮ ਚਾਤ੍ਰਿਕ ਬਿਲਲ ਬਿਲਲਾਤੀ ॥ हरि हरि बूंद भए हरि सुआमी हम चात्रिक बिलल बिललाती ॥ Har har boonḋ bʰa▫é har su▫aamee ham chaaṫrik bilal billaaṫee. The Lord, Har, Har, is the rain-drop; I am the song-bird, crying, crying out for it.
