ਸੋਰਠਿ ਤਾਮਿ ਸੁਹਾਵਣੀ ਜਾ ਹਰਿ ਨਾਮੁ ਢੰਢੋਲੇ ॥ सोरठि तामि सुहावणी जा हरि नामु ढंढोले ॥ Soraṯẖ ṯām suhāvaṇī jā har nām dẖandẖole. Sorat'h is beautiful only when it leads the soul-bride to seek the Lord's Name. ਮਃ ੪ ॥ मः ४ ॥ Mėhlā 4. Fourth Mehl: ਗੁਰ ਪੁਰਖੁ ਮਨਾਵੈ ਆਪਣਾ ਗੁਰਮਤੀ ਹਰਿ ਹਰਿ ਬੋਲੇ ॥ गुर पुरखु मनावै आपणा गुरमती हरि हरि बोले ॥ Gur purakẖ manāvai āpṇā gurmaṯī har har bole. She pleases her Guru and God; under Guru's Instruction, she speaks the Name of the Lord, Har, Har. ਹਰਿ ਪ੍ਰੇਮਿ ਕਸਾਈ ਦਿਨਸੁ ਰਾਤਿ ਹਰਿ ਰਤੀ ਹਰਿ ਰੰਗਿ ਚੋਲੇ ॥ हरि प्रेमि कसाई दिनसु राति हरि रती हरि रंगि चोले ॥ Har parem kasā▫ī ḏinas rāṯ har raṯī har rang cẖole. She is attracted to the Lord's Name, day and night, and her body is drenched in the color of the Love of the Lord, Har, Har. ਹਰਿ ਜੈਸਾ ਪੁਰਖੁ ਨ ਲਭਈ ਸਭੁ ਦੇਖਿਆ ਜਗਤੁ ਮੈ ਟੋਲੇ ॥ हरि जैसा पुरखु न लभई सभु देखिआ जगतु मै टोले ॥ Har jaisā purakẖ na labẖ▫ī sabẖ ḏekẖi▫ā jagaṯ mai tole. No other being like the Lord God can be found; I have looked and searched over the whole world. ਗੁਰਿ ਸਤਿਗੁਰਿ ਨਾਮੁ ਦ੍ਰਿੜਾਇਆ ਮਨੁ ਅਨਤ ਨ ਕਾਹੂ ਡੋਲੇ ॥ गुरि सतिगुरि नामु द्रिड़ाइआ मनु अनत न काहू डोले ॥ Gur saṯgur nām driṛ▫ā▫i▫ā man anaṯ na kāhū dole. The Guru, the True Guru, has implanted the Naam within me; my mind does not waver any more. ਜਨੁ ਨਾਨਕੁ ਹਰਿ ਕਾ ਦਾਸੁ ਹੈ ਗੁਰ ਸਤਿਗੁਰ ਕੇ ਗੋਲ ਗੋਲੇ ॥੨॥ जनु नानकु हरि का दासु है गुर सतिगुर के गोल गोले ॥२॥ Jan Nānak har kā ḏās hai gur saṯgur ke gol gole. ||2|| Servant Nanak is the Lord's slave, the slave of the slaves of the Guru, the True Guru. ||2||
