ਮਃ ੩ ॥ मः ३ ॥ Mėhlā 3. Third Mehl: ਸਬਦੈ ਸਾਦੁ ਨ ਆਇਓ ਨਾਮਿ ਨ ਲਗੋ ਪਿਆਰੁ ॥ सबदै सादु न आइओ नामि न लगो पिआरु ॥ Sabḏai sāḏ na ā▫i▫o nām na lago pi▫ār. One who does not savor the taste of the Shabad, who does not love the Naam, the Name of the Lord, ਨਾਨਕ ਕਿਰਤਿ ਪਇਐ ਕਮਾਵਣਾ ਕੋਇ ਨ ਮੇਟਣਹਾਰੁ ॥੨॥ नानक किरति पइऐ कमावणा कोइ न मेटणहारु ॥२॥ Nānak kiraṯ pa▫i▫ai kamāvaṇā ko▫e na metaṇhār. ||2|| O Nanak, he acts according to the karma of his past actions, which no one can erase. ||2|| ਰਸਨਾ ਫਿਕਾ ਬੋਲਣਾ ਨਿਤ ਨਿਤ ਹੋਇ ਖੁਆਰੁ ॥ रसना फिका बोलणा नित नित होइ खुआरु ॥ Rasnā fikā bolṇā niṯ niṯ ho▫e kẖu▫ār. and who speaks insipid words with his tongue, is ruined, again and again.
