ਸਤਿਗੁਰ ਪ੍ਰਸਾਦਿ
ੴ सतिगुर प्रसादि ॥
Ik▫oaʼnkār saṯgur parsāḏ.
One Universal Creator God. By The Grace Of The True Guru:

ਆਸਾ ਛੰਤ ਮਹਲਾ ਘਰੁ
आसा छंत महला ५ घरु ४
Āsā cẖẖanṯ mėhlā 5 gẖar 4
Aasaa, Chhant, Fifth Mehl, Fourth House:

ਮਿਲਿ ਸੰਤਸੰਗਤਿ ਆਰਾਧਿਆ ਹਰਿ ਘਟਿ ਘਟੇ ਡੀਠਾ ਰਾਮ ਰਾਜੇ
मिलि संतसंगति आराधिआ हरि घटि घटे डीठा राम राजे ॥
Mil sanṯsangaṯ ārāḏẖi▫ā har gẖat gẖate dīṯẖā rām rāje.
Joining the Society of the Saints, I meditate on the Lord in adoration; I behold the Lord King in each and every heart.

ਹਰਿ ਚਰਨ ਕਮਲ ਮਨੁ ਬੇਧਿਆ ਕਿਛੁ ਆਨ ਮੀਠਾ ਰਾਮ ਰਾਜੇ
हरि चरन कमल मनु बेधिआ किछु आन न मीठा राम राजे ॥
Har cẖaran kamal man beḏẖi▫ā kicẖẖ ān na mīṯẖā rām rāje.
My mind is pierced by the Lord's Lotus Feet; He alone is sweet to my mind, the Lord King.

ਹਰਿ ਘਟਿ ਘਟੇ ਡੀਠਾ ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤੋੁ ਵੂਠਾ ਜਨਮ ਮਰਨ ਦੁਖ ਨਾਠੇ
हरि घटि घटे डीठा अम्रितो वूठा जनम मरन दुख नाठे ॥
Har gẖat gẖate dīṯẖā amriṯo vūṯẖā janam maran ḏukẖ nāṯẖe.
I behold the Lord in each and every heart, and the Ambrosial Nectar rains down upon me; the pains of birth and death are gone.

ਗੁਣ ਨਿਧਿ ਗਾਇਆ ਸਭ ਦੂਖ ਮਿਟਾਇਆ ਹਉਮੈ ਬਿਨਸੀ ਗਾਠੇ
गुण निधि गाइआ सभ दूख मिटाइआ हउमै बिनसी गाठे ॥
Guṇ niḏẖ gā▫i▫ā sabẖ ḏūkẖ mitā▫i▫ā ha▫umai binsī gāṯẖe.
Singing the Praises of the Lord, the treasure of virtue, all my pains are erased, and the knot of ego has been untied.

ਪ੍ਰਿਉ ਸਹਜ ਸੁਭਾਈ ਛੋਡਿ ਜਾਈ ਮਨਿ ਲਾਗਾ ਰੰਗੁ ਮਜੀਠਾ
प्रिउ सहज सुभाई छोडि न जाई मनि लागा रंगु मजीठा ॥
Pari▫o sahj subẖā▫ī cẖẖod na jā▫ī man lāgā rang majīṯẖā.
My Beloved shall not leave me to go anywhere - this is His natural way; my mind is imbued with the lasting color of the Lord's Love.

ਹਰਿ ਨਾਨਕ ਬੇਧੇ ਚਰਨ ਕਮਲ ਕਿਛੁ ਆਨ ਮੀਠਾ ॥੧॥
हरि नानक बेधे चरन कमल किछु आन न मीठा ॥१॥
Har Nānak beḏẖe cẖaran kamal kicẖẖ ān na mīṯẖā. ||1||
The Lotus Feet of the Lord have pierced Nanak's mind, and now, nothing else seems sweet to him. ||1||

ਜਿਉ ਰਾਤੀ ਜਲਿ ਮਾਛੁਲੀ ਤਿਉ ਰਾਮ ਰਸਿ ਮਾਤੇ ਰਾਮ ਰਾਜੇ
जिउ राती जलि माछुली तिउ राम रसि माते राम राजे ॥
Ji▫o rāṯī jal mācẖẖulī ṯi▫o rām ras māṯe rām rāje.
Just like the fish which revels in water, I am intoxicated with the sublime essence of the Lord, my Lord King.

ਗੁਰ ਪੂਰੈ ਉਪਦੇਸਿਆ ਜੀਵਨ ਗਤਿ ਭਾਤੇ ਰਾਮ ਰਾਜੇ
गुर पूरै उपदेसिआ जीवन गति भाते राम राजे ॥
Gur pūrai upḏesi▫ā jīvan gaṯ bẖāṯe rām rāje.
The Perfect Guru has instructed me, and blessed me with salvation in my life; I love the Lord, my King.

ਜੀਵਨ ਗਤਿ ਸੁਆਮੀ ਅੰਤਰਜਾਮੀ ਆਪਿ ਲੀਏ ਲੜਿ ਲਾਏ
जीवन गति सुआमी अंतरजामी आपि लीए लड़ि लाए ॥
Jīvan gaṯ su▫āmī anṯarjāmī āp lī▫e laṛ lā▫e.
The Lord Master, the Searcher of hearts, blesses me with salvation in my life; He Himself attaches me to His Love.

ਹਰਿ ਰਤਨ ਪਦਾਰਥੋ ਪਰਗਟੋ ਪੂਰਨੋ ਛੋਡਿ ਕਤਹੂ ਜਾਏ
हरि रतन पदारथो परगटो पूरनो छोडि न कतहू जाए ॥
Har raṯan paḏāratho pargato pūrno cẖẖod na kaṯhū jā▫e.
The Lord is the treasure of jewels, the perfect manifestation; He shall not forsake us to go anywhere else.

ਪ੍ਰਭੁ ਸੁਘਰੁ ਸਰੂਪੁ ਸੁਜਾਨੁ ਸੁਆਮੀ ਤਾ ਕੀ ਮਿਟੈ ਦਾਤੇ
प्रभु सुघरु सरूपु सुजानु सुआमी ता की मिटै न दाते ॥
Parabẖ sugẖar sarūp sujān su▫āmī ṯā kī mitai na ḏāṯe.
God, the Lord Master, is so accomplished, beauteous, and all-knowing; His gifts are never exhausted.

ਜਲ ਸੰਗਿ ਰਾਤੀ ਮਾਛੁਲੀ ਨਾਨਕ ਹਰਿ ਮਾਤੇ ॥੨॥
जल संगि राती माछुली नानक हरि माते ॥२॥
Jal sang rāṯī mācẖẖulī Nānak har māṯe. ||2||
As the fish is enraptured by the water, so is Nanak intoxicated by the Lord. ||2||

ਚਾਤ੍ਰਿਕੁ ਜਾਚੈ ਬੂੰਦ ਜਿਉ ਹਰਿ ਪ੍ਰਾਨ ਅਧਾਰਾ ਰਾਮ ਰਾਜੇ
चात्रिकु जाचै बूंद जिउ हरि प्रान अधारा राम राजे ॥
Cẖāṯrik jācẖai būnḏ ji▫o har parān aḏẖārā rām rāje.
As the song-bird yearns for the rain-drop, the Lord, the Lord my King, is the Support of my breath of life.

ਮਾਲੁ ਖਜੀਨਾ ਸੁਤ ਭ੍ਰਾਤ ਮੀਤ ਸਭਹੂੰ ਤੇ ਪਿਆਰਾ ਰਾਮ ਰਾਜੇ
मालु खजीना सुत भ्रात मीत सभहूं ते पिआरा राम राजे ॥
Māl kẖajīnā suṯ bẖarāṯ mīṯ sabẖahūʼn ṯe pi▫ārā rām rāje.
My Lord King is more beloved than all wealth, treasure, children, siblings and friends.

ਸਭਹੂੰ ਤੇ ਪਿਆਰਾ ਪੁਰਖੁ ਨਿਰਾਰਾ ਤਾ ਕੀ ਗਤਿ ਨਹੀ ਜਾਣੀਐ
सभहूं ते पिआरा पुरखु निरारा ता की गति नही जाणीऐ ॥
Sabẖahūʼn ṯe pi▫ārā purakẖ nirārā ṯā kī gaṯ nahī jāṇī▫ai.
The absolute Lord, the Primal Being, is more beloved than all; His condition cannot be known.

ਹਰਿ ਸਾਸਿ ਗਿਰਾਸਿ ਬਿਸਰੈ ਕਬਹੂੰ ਗੁਰ ਸਬਦੀ ਰੰਗੁ ਮਾਣੀਐ
हरि सासि गिरासि न बिसरै कबहूं गुर सबदी रंगु माणीऐ ॥
Har sās girās na bisrai kabahūʼn gur sabḏī rang māṇī▫ai.
I shall never forget the Lord, for an instant, for a single breath; through the Word of the Guru's Shabad, I enjoy His Love.

ਚਾਤ੍ਰਿਕੁ ਜਾਚੈ ਬੂੰਦ ਜਿਉ ਨਾਨਕ ਹਰਿ ਪਿਆਰਾ ॥੩॥
चात्रिकु जाचै बूंद जिउ नानक हरि पिआरा ॥३॥
Cẖāṯrik jācẖai būnḏ ji▫o Nānak har pi▫ārā. ||3||
As the song-bird yearns for the rain-drop, so does Nanak love the Lord. ||3||

ਪ੍ਰਭੁ ਪੁਰਖੁ ਜਗਜੀਵਨੋ ਸੰਤ ਰਸੁ ਪੀਵਨੋ ਜਪਿ ਭਰਮ ਮੋਹ ਦੁਖ ਡਾਰਾ
प्रभु पुरखु जगजीवनो संत रसु पीवनो जपि भरम मोह दुख डारा ॥
Parabẖ purakẖ jagjīvano sanṯ ras pīvno jap bẖaram moh ḏukẖ dārā.
The Primal Lord God is the Life of the Universe; His Saints drink in the Lord's sublime essence. Meditating on Him, doubts, attachments and pains are shaken off.

ਮਿਲੇ ਨਰਾਇਣ ਆਪਣੇ ਮਾਨੋਰਥੋ ਪੂਰਾ ਰਾਮ ਰਾਜੇ
मिले नराइण आपणे मानोरथो पूरा राम राजे ॥
Mile narā▫iṇ āpṇe mānoratho pūrā rām rāje.
Meeting the Lord, my Lord King, my desires are fulfilled.

ਢਾਠੀ ਭੀਤਿ ਭਰੰਮ ਕੀ ਭੇਟਤ ਗੁਰੁ ਸੂਰਾ ਰਾਮ ਰਾਜੇ
ढाठी भीति भरम की भेटत गुरु सूरा राम राजे ॥
Dẖāṯẖī bẖīṯ bẖaramm kī bẖetaṯ gur sūrā rām rāje.
The walls of doubt have been torn down, meeting the Brave Guru, O Lord King.

ਪੂਰਨ ਗੁਰ ਪਾਏ ਪੁਰਬਿ ਲਿਖਾਏ ਸਭ ਨਿਧਿ ਦੀਨ ਦਇਆਲਾ
पूरन गुर पाए पुरबि लिखाए सभ निधि दीन दइआला ॥
Pūran gur pā▫e purab likẖā▫e sabẖ niḏẖ ḏīn ḏa▫i▫ālā.
The Perfect Guru is obtained by perfect pre-ordained destiny; God is the Giver of all treasures - He is merciful to the meek.

ਆਦਿ ਮਧਿ ਅੰਤਿ ਪ੍ਰਭੁ ਸੋਈ ਸੁੰਦਰ ਗੁਰ ਗੋਪਾਲਾ
आदि मधि अंति प्रभु सोई सुंदर गुर गोपाला ॥
Āḏ maḏẖ anṯ parabẖ so▫ī sunḏar gur gopālā.
In the beginning, in the middle, and in the end, is God, the most beautiful Guru, the Sustainer of the World.

ਸੂਖ ਸਹਜ ਆਨੰਦ ਘਨੇਰੇ ਪਤਿਤ ਪਾਵਨ ਸਾਧੂ ਧੂਰਾ
सूख सहज आनंद घनेरे पतित पावन साधू धूरा ॥
Sūkẖ sahj ānanḏ gẖanere paṯiṯ pāvan sāḏẖū ḏẖūrā.
The dust of the feet of the Holy purifies sinners, and brings great joy, bliss and ecstasy.

ਹਰਿ ਮਿਲੇ ਨਰਾਇਣ ਨਾਨਕਾ ਮਾਨੋਰਥੋੁ ਪੂਰਾ ॥੪॥੧॥੩॥
हरि मिले नराइण नानका मानोरथो पूरा ॥४॥१॥३॥
Har mile narā▫iṇ nānkā mānoratho pūrā. ||4||1||3||
The Lord, the Infinite Lord, has met with Nanak, and his desires are fulfilled. ||4||1||3||
