ਜਿਨ ਅੰਤਰਿ ਹਰਿ ਹਰਿ ਪ੍ਰੀਤਿ ਹੈ ਤੇ ਜਨ ਸੁਘੜ ਸਿਆਣੇ ਰਾਮ ਰਾਜੇ ॥ जिन अंतरि हरि हरि प्रीति है ते जन सुघड़ सिआणे राम राजे ॥ Jin anṫar har har pareeṫ hæ ṫé jan sugʰaṛ si▫aaṇé raam raajé. Those whose hearts are filled with the love of the Lord, Har, Har, are the wisest and most clever people, O Lord King. ਆਸਾ ਮਹਲਾ ੪ ॥ आसा महला ४ ॥ Aasaa mėhlaa 4. Aasaa, Fourth Mehl: ਹਰਿ ਸੰਤਾ ਨੋ ਹੋਰੁ ਥਾਉ ਨਾਹੀ ਹਰਿ ਮਾਣੁ ਨਿਮਾਣੇ ॥ हरि संता नो होरु थाउ नाही हरि माणु निमाणे ॥ Har sanṫaa no hor ṫʰaa▫o naahee har maaṇ nimaaṇé. The Lord’s Saints have no other place. The Lord is the honor of the dishonored. ਜੇ ਬਾਹਰਹੁ ਭੁਲਿ ਚੁਕਿ ਬੋਲਦੇ ਭੀ ਖਰੇ ਹਰਿ ਭਾਣੇ ॥ जे बाहरहु भुलि चुकि बोलदे भी खरे हरि भाणे ॥ Jé baahrahu bʰul chuk bolḋé bʰee kʰaré har bʰaaṇé. Even if they misspeak outwardly, they are still very pleasing to the Lord. ਜਨ ਨਾਨਕ ਨਾਮੁ ਦੀਬਾਣੁ ਹੈ ਹਰਿ ਤਾਣੁ ਸਤਾਣੇ ॥੧॥ जन नानक नामु दीबाणु है हरि ताणु सताणे ॥१॥ Jan Naanak naam ḋeebaaṇ hæ har ṫaaṇ saṫaaṇé. ||1|| The Naam, the Name of the Lord, is the Royal Court for servant Nanak; the Lord’s power is his only power. ||1|| ਜਿਥੈ ਜਾਇ ਬਹੈ ਮੇਰਾ ਸਤਿਗੁਰੂ ਸੋ ਥਾਨੁ ਸੁਹਾਵਾ ਰਾਮ ਰਾਜੇ ॥ जिथै जाइ बहै मेरा सतिगुरू सो थानु सुहावा राम राजे ॥ Jiṫʰæ jaa▫é bahæ méraa saṫguroo so ṫʰaan suhaavaa raam raajé. Wherever my True Guru goes and sits, that place is beautiful, O Lord King. ਗੁਰਸਿਖੀ ਸੋ ਥਾਨੁ ਭਾਲਿਆ ਲੈ ਧੂਰਿ ਮੁਖਿ ਲਾਵਾ ॥ गुरसिखीं सो थानु भालिआ लै धूरि मुखि लावा ॥ Gusikʰeeⁿ so ṫʰaan bʰaali▫aa læ ḋʰoor mukʰ laavaa. The Guru’s Sikhs seek out that place; they take the dust and apply it to their faces. ਗੁਰਸਿਖਾ ਕੀ ਘਾਲ ਥਾਇ ਪਈ ਜਿਨ ਹਰਿ ਨਾਮੁ ਧਿਆਵਾ ॥ गुरसिखा की घाल थाइ पई जिन हरि नामु धिआवा ॥ Gursikʰaa kee gʰaal ṫʰaa▫é pa▫ee jin har naam ḋʰi▫aavaa. The works of the Guru’s Sikhs, who meditate on the Lord’s Name, are approved. ਜਿਨੑ ਨਾਨਕੁ ਸਤਿਗੁਰੁ ਪੂਜਿਆ ਤਿਨ ਹਰਿ ਪੂਜ ਕਰਾਵਾ ॥੨॥ जिन्ह नानकु सतिगुरु पूजिआ तिन हरि पूज करावा ॥२॥ Jinĥ Naanak saṫgur pooji▫aa ṫin har pooj karaavaa. ||2|| Those who worship the True Guru, O Nanak - the Lord causes them to be worshiped in turn. ||2|| ਗੁਰਸਿਖਾ ਮਨਿ ਹਰਿ ਪ੍ਰੀਤਿ ਹੈ ਹਰਿ ਨਾਮ ਹਰਿ ਤੇਰੀ ਰਾਮ ਰਾਜੇ ॥ गुरसिखा मनि हरि प्रीति है हरि नाम हरि तेरी राम राजे ॥ Gursikʰaa man har pareeṫ hæ har naam har ṫéree raam raajé. The Guru’s Sikh keeps the Love of the Lord, and the Name of the Lord, in his mind. He loves You, O Lord, O Lord King. ਕਰਿ ਸੇਵਹਿ ਪੂਰਾ ਸਤਿਗੁਰੂ ਭੁਖ ਜਾਇ ਲਹਿ ਮੇਰੀ ॥ करि सेवहि पूरा सतिगुरू भुख जाइ लहि मेरी ॥ Kar sévėh pooraa saṫguroo bʰukʰ jaa▫é lėh méree. He serves the Perfect True Guru, and his hunger and self-conceit are eliminated. ਗੁਰਸਿਖਾ ਕੀ ਭੁਖ ਸਭ ਗਈ ਤਿਨ ਪਿਛੈ ਹੋਰ ਖਾਇ ਘਨੇਰੀ ॥ गुरसिखा की भुख सभ गई तिन पिछै होर खाइ घनेरी ॥ Gursikʰaa kee bʰukʰ sabʰ ga▫ee ṫin pichʰæ hor kʰaa▫é gʰanéree. The hunger of the GurSikh is totally eliminated; indeed, many others are satisfied through them. ਜਨ ਨਾਨਕ ਹਰਿ ਪੁੰਨੁ ਬੀਜਿਆ ਫਿਰਿ ਤੋਟਿ ਨ ਆਵੈ ਹਰਿ ਪੁੰਨ ਕੇਰੀ ॥੩॥ जन नानक हरि पुंनु बीजिआ फिरि तोटि न आवै हरि पुंन केरी ॥३॥ Jan Naanak har punn beeji▫aa fir ṫot na aavæ har punn kéree. ||3|| Servant Nanak has planted the Seed of the Lord’s Goodness; this Goodness of the Lord shall never be exhausted. ||3|| ਗੁਰਸਿਖਾ ਮਨਿ ਵਾਧਾਈਆ ਜਿਨ ਮੇਰਾ ਸਤਿਗੁਰੂ ਡਿਠਾ ਰਾਮ ਰਾਜੇ ॥ गुरसिखा मनि वाधाईआ जिन मेरा सतिगुरू डिठा राम राजे ॥ Gursikʰaa man vaaḋʰaa▫ee▫aa jin méraa saṫguroo ditʰaa raam raajé. The minds of the GurSikhs rejoice, because they have seen my True Guru, O Lord King. ਕੋਈ ਕਰਿ ਗਲ ਸੁਣਾਵੈ ਹਰਿ ਨਾਮ ਕੀ ਸੋ ਲਗੈ ਗੁਰਸਿਖਾ ਮਨਿ ਮਿਠਾ ॥ कोई करि गल सुणावै हरि नाम की सो लगै गुरसिखा मनि मिठा ॥ Ko▫ee kar gal suṇaavæ har naam kee so lagæ gursikʰaa man mitʰaa. If someone recites to them the story of the Lord’s Name, it seems so sweet to the mind of those GurSikhs. ਹਰਿ ਦਰਗਹ ਗੁਰਸਿਖ ਪੈਨਾਈਅਹਿ ਜਿਨੑਾ ਮੇਰਾ ਸਤਿਗੁਰੁ ਤੁਠਾ ॥ हरि दरगह गुरसिख पैनाईअहि जिन्हा मेरा सतिगुरु तुठा ॥ Har ḋargėh gursikʰ pænaa▫ee▫ah jinĥaa méraa saṫgur ṫutʰaa. The GurSikhs (followers of the Guru) are honored with robes in the Court of the Lord; my True Guru is very pleased with them. ਜਨ ਨਾਨਕੁ ਹਰਿ ਹਰਿ ਹੋਇਆ ਹਰਿ ਹਰਿ ਮਨਿ ਵੁਠਾ ॥੪॥੧੨॥੧੯॥ जन नानकु हरि हरि होइआ हरि हरि मनि वुठा ॥४॥१२॥१९॥ Jan Naanak har har ho▫i▫aa har har man vutʰaa. ||4||12||19|| Servant Nanak has become the Lord, Har, Har; the Lord, Har, Har, abides within his mind. ||4||12||19||
