ਬਿਖੈ ਕਉੜਤਣਿ ਸਗਲ ਮਾਹਿ ਜਗਤਿ ਰਹੀ ਲਪਟਾਇ ॥ बिखै कउड़तणि सगल माहि जगति रही लपटाइ ॥ Bikʰæ ka▫uṛ▫ṫaṇ sagal maahi jagaṫ rahee laptaa▫é. The bitter poison of corruption is everywhere; it clings to the substance of the world. ਮਃ ੫ ॥ मः ५ ॥ Mėhlaa 5. Fifth Mehl: ਨਾਨਕ ਜਨਿ ਵੀਚਾਰਿਆ ਮੀਠਾ ਹਰਿ ਕਾ ਨਾਉ ॥੨॥ नानक जनि वीचारिआ मीठा हरि का नाउ ॥२॥ Naanak jan veechaari▫aa meetʰaa har kaa naa▫o. ||2|| O Nanak! The humble being has realized that the Name of the Lord alone is sweet. ||2||
