ਤਤਾ ਤਾ ਸਿਉ ਪ੍ਰੀਤਿ ਕਰਿ ਗੁਣ ਨਿਧਿ ਗੋਬਿਦ ਰਾਇ ॥ तता ता सिउ प्रीति करि गुण निधि गोबिद राइ ॥ Ŧaṯā ṯā si▫o parīṯ kar guṇ niḏẖ gobiḏ rā▫e. TATTA: Embrace love for the Treasure of Excellence, the Sovereign Lord of the Universe. ਫਲ ਪਾਵਹਿ ਮਨ ਬਾਛਤੇ ਤਪਤਿ ਤੁਹਾਰੀ ਜਾਇ ॥ फल पावहि मन बाछते तपति तुहारी जाइ ॥ Fal pāvahi man bācẖẖ▫ṯe ṯapaṯ ṯuhārī jā▫e. You shall obtain the fruits of your mind's desires, and your burning thirst shall be quenched. ਪਉੜੀ ॥ पउड़ी ॥ Pa▫oṛī. Pauree: ਤ੍ਰਾਸ ਮਿਟੈ ਜਮ ਪੰਥ ਕੀ ਜਾਸੁ ਬਸੈ ਮਨਿ ਨਾਉ ॥ त्रास मिटै जम पंथ की जासु बसै मनि नाउ ॥ Ŧarās mitai jam panth kī jās basai man nā▫o. One whose heart is filled with the Name shall have no fear on the path of death. ਗਤਿ ਪਾਵਹਿ ਮਤਿ ਹੋਇ ਪ੍ਰਗਾਸ ਮਹਲੀ ਪਾਵਹਿ ਠਾਉ ॥ गति पावहि मति होइ प्रगास महली पावहि ठाउ ॥ Gaṯ pāvahi maṯ ho▫e pargās mahlī pāvahi ṯẖā▫o. He shall obtain salvation, and his intellect shall be enlightened; he will find his place in the Mansion of the Lord's Presence. ਤਾਹੂ ਸੰਗਿ ਨ ਧਨੁ ਚਲੈ ਗ੍ਰਿਹ ਜੋਬਨ ਨਹ ਰਾਜ ॥ ताहू संगि न धनु चलै ग्रिह जोबन नह राज ॥ Ŧāhū sang na ḏẖan cẖalai garih joban nah rāj. Neither wealth, nor household, nor youth, nor power shall go along with you. ਸੰਤਸੰਗਿ ਸਿਮਰਤ ਰਹਹੁ ਇਹੈ ਤੁਹਾਰੈ ਕਾਜ ॥ संतसंगि सिमरत रहहु इहै तुहारै काज ॥ Saṯsang simraṯ rahhu ihai ṯuhārai kāj. In the Society of the Saints, meditate in remembrance on the Lord. This alone shall be of use to you. ਤਾਤਾ ਕਛੂ ਨ ਹੋਈ ਹੈ ਜਉ ਤਾਪ ਨਿਵਾਰੈ ਆਪ ॥ ताता कछू न होई है जउ ताप निवारै आप ॥ Ŧāṯā kacẖẖū na ho▫ī hai ja▫o ṯāp nivārai āp. There will be no burning at all, when He Himself takes away your fever. ਪ੍ਰਤਿਪਾਲੈ ਨਾਨਕ ਹਮਹਿ ਆਪਹਿ ਮਾਈ ਬਾਪ ॥੩੨॥ प्रतिपालै नानक हमहि आपहि माई बाप ॥३२॥ Paraṯipālai Nānak hamėh āpėh mā▫ī bāp. ||32|| O Nanak, the Lord Himself cherishes us; He is our Mother and Father. ||32||
