ਗਰਬੁ ਬਡੋ ਮੂਲੁ ਇਤਨੋ ॥ गरबु बडो मूलु इतनो ॥ Garab bado mool iṫno. Your pride is so great, but what about your origins? ਗਉੜੀ ਮਹਲਾ ੫ ॥ गउड़ी महला ५ ॥ Ga▫oṛee mėhlaa 5. Gauree, Fifth Mehl: ਬੇਬਰਜਤ ਬੇਦ ਸੰਤਨਾ ਉਆਹੂ ਸਿਉ ਰੇ ਹਿਤਨੋ ॥ बेबरजत बेद संतना उआहू सिउ रे हितनो ॥ Bébarjaṫ béḋ sanṫnaa u▫aahoo si▫o ré hiṫno. That which is forbidden by the Vedas and the Saints - with that, you are in love. ਹਾਰ ਜੂਆਰ ਜੂਆ ਬਿਧੇ ਇੰਦ੍ਰੀ ਵਸਿ ਲੈ ਜਿਤਨੋ ॥੧॥ हार जूआर जूआ बिधे इंद्री वसि लै जितनो ॥१॥ Haar joo▫aar joo▫aa biḋʰé inḋree vas læ jiṫno. ||1|| Like the gambler losing the game of chance, you are held in the power of sensory desires. ||1|| ਰਹਨੁ ਨਹੀ ਗਹੁ ਕਿਤਨੋ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥ रहनु नही गहु कितनो ॥१॥ रहाउ ॥ Rahan nahee gahu kiṫno. ||1|| rahaa▫o. You cannot remain, no matter how much you try to hold on. ||1||Pause|| ਹਰਨ ਭਰਨ ਸੰਪੂਰਨਾ ਚਰਨ ਕਮਲ ਰੰਗਿ ਰਿਤਨੋ ॥ हरन भरन स्मपूरना चरन कमल रंगि रितनो ॥ Haran bʰaran sampoornaa charan kamal rang riṫno. The One who is All-powerful to empty out and fill up - you have no love for His Lotus Feet. ਨਾਨਕ ਉਧਰੇ ਸਾਧਸੰਗਿ ਕਿਰਪਾ ਨਿਧਿ ਮੈ ਦਿਤਨੋ ॥੨॥੧੦॥੧੪੮॥ नानक उधरे साधसंगि किरपा निधि मै दितनो ॥२॥१०॥१४८॥ Naanak uḋʰré saaḋʰsang kirpaa niḋʰ mæ ḋiṫno. ||2||10||148|| O Nanak! I have been saved in the Saadh Sangat, the Company of the Holy. I have been blessed by the Treasure of Mercy. ||2||10||148||
