ਜਾ ਕਉ ਬਿਸਰੈ ਰਾਮ ਨਾਮ ਤਾਹੂ ਕਉ ਪੀਰ ॥ जा कउ बिसरै राम नाम ताहू कउ पीर ॥ Jaa ka▫o bisræ raam naam ṫaahoo ka▫o peer. One who forgets the Lord’s Name, suffers in pain. ਗਉੜੀ ਮਹਲਾ ੫ ॥ गउड़ी₂ महला ५ ॥ Ga▫oṛee mėhlaa 5. Gauree, Fifth Mehl: ਸਾਧਸੰਗਤਿ ਮਿਲਿ ਹਰਿ ਰਵਹਿ ਸੇ ਗੁਣੀ ਗਹੀਰ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥ साधसंगति मिलि हरि रवहि से गुणी गहीर ॥१॥ रहाउ ॥ Saaḋʰsangaṫ mil har ravėh sé guṇee gaheer. ||1|| rahaa▫o. Those who join the Saadh Sangat, the Company of the Holy, and dwell upon the Lord, find the Ocean of virtue. ||1||Pause|| ਜਾ ਕਉ ਗੁਰਮੁਖਿ ਰਿਦੈ ਬੁਧਿ ॥ जा कउ गुरमुखि रिदै बुधि ॥ Jaa ka▫o gurmukʰ riḋæ buḋʰ. Those Gurmukhs whose hearts are filled with wisdom, ਤਾ ਕੈ ਕਰ ਤਲ ਨਵ ਨਿਧਿ ਸਿਧਿ ॥੧॥ ता कै कर तल नव निधि सिधि ॥१॥ Ṫaa kæ kar ṫal nav niḋʰ siḋʰ. ||1|| hold the nine treasures, and the miraculous spiritual powers of the Siddhas in the palms of their hands. ||1|| ਜੋ ਜਾਨਹਿ ਹਰਿ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਧਨੀ ॥ जो जानहि हरि प्रभ धनी ॥ Jo jaanėh har parabʰ ḋʰanee. Those who know the Lord God as their Master, ਕਿਛੁ ਨਾਹੀ ਤਾ ਕੈ ਕਮੀ ॥੨॥ किछु नाही ता कै कमी ॥२॥ Kichʰ naahee ṫaa kæ kamee. ||2|| do not lack anything. ||2|| ਕਰਣੈਹਾਰੁ ਪਛਾਨਿਆ ॥ करणैहारु पछानिआ ॥ Karṇæhaar pachʰaani▫aa. Those who realize the Creator Lord, ਸਰਬ ਸੂਖ ਰੰਗ ਮਾਣਿਆ ॥੩॥ सरब सूख रंग माणिआ ॥३॥ Sarab sookʰ rang maaṇi▫aa. ||3|| enjoy all peace and pleasure. ||3|| ਹਰਿ ਧਨੁ ਜਾ ਕੈ ਗ੍ਰਿਹਿ ਵਸੈ ॥ हरि धनु जा कै ग्रिहि वसै ॥ Har ḋʰan jaa kæ garihi vasæ. Those whose inner homes are filled with the Lord’s wealth - ਕਹੁ ਨਾਨਕ ਤਿਨ ਸੰਗਿ ਦੁਖੁ ਨਸੈ ॥੪॥੯॥੧੪੭॥ कहु नानक तिन संगि दुखु नसै ॥४॥९॥१४७॥ Kaho Naanak ṫin sang ḋukʰ nasæ. ||4||9||147|| says Nanak, in their company, pain departs. ||4||9||147||
