ਗਉੜੀ ਮਹਲਾ ੫ ॥ गउड़ी महला ५ ॥ Ga▫oṛī mėhlā 5. Gauree, Fifth Mehl: ਜੀਵਨ ਪਦਵੀ ਹਰਿ ਕੇ ਦਾਸ ॥ जीवन पदवी हरि के दास ॥ Jīvan paḏvī har ke ḏās. The Lord's slaves attain the highest status of life. ਜਿਨ ਮਿਲਿਆ ਆਤਮ ਪਰਗਾਸੁ ॥੧॥ जिन मिलिआ आतम परगासु ॥१॥ Jin mili▫ā āṯam pargās. ||1|| Meeting them, the soul is enlightened. ||1|| ਹਰਿ ਕਾ ਸਿਮਰਨੁ ਸੁਨਿ ਮਨ ਕਾਨੀ ॥ हरि का सिमरनु सुनि मन कानी ॥ Har kā simran sun man kānī. Those who listen with their mind and ears to the Lord's meditative remembrance, ਸੁਖੁ ਪਾਵਹਿ ਹਰਿ ਦੁਆਰ ਪਰਾਨੀ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥ सुखु पावहि हरि दुआर परानी ॥१॥ रहाउ ॥ Sukẖ pāvahi har ḏu▫ār parānī. ||1|| rahā▫o. are blessed with peace at the Lord's Gate, O mortal. ||1||Pause|| ਆਠ ਪਹਰ ਧਿਆਈਐ ਗੋਪਾਲੁ ॥ आठ पहर धिआईऐ गोपालु ॥ Āṯẖ pahar ḏẖi▫ā▫ī▫ai gopāl. Twenty-four hours a day, meditate on the Sustainer of the World. ਨਾਨਕ ਦਰਸਨੁ ਦੇਖਿ ਨਿਹਾਲੁ ॥੨॥੧੦੧॥੧੭੦॥ नानक दरसनु देखि निहालु ॥२॥१०१॥१७०॥ Nānak ḏarsan ḏekẖ nihāl. ||2||101||170|| O Nanak, gazing on the Blessed Vision of His Darshan, I am enraptured. ||2||101||170||
