ਜਲਿ ਥਲਿ ਮਹੀਅਲਿ ਪੂਰਨ ਹਰਿ ਮੀਤ ॥ जलि थलि महीअलि पूरन हरि मीत ॥ Jal ṫʰal mahee▫al pooran har meeṫ. The Lord, our Friend, is totally pervading the water, the land and the skies. ਗਉੜੀ ਮਹਲਾ ੫ ॥ गउड़ी महला ५ ॥ Ga▫oṛee mėhlaa 5. Gauree, Fifth Mehl: ਭ੍ਰਮ ਬਿਨਸੇ ਗਾਏ ਗੁਣ ਨੀਤ ॥੧॥ भ्रम बिनसे गाए गुण नीत ॥१॥ Bʰaram binsé gaa▫é guṇ neeṫ. ||1|| Doubts are dispelled by continually singing the Lord’s Glorious Praises. ||1|| ਊਠਤ ਸੋਵਤ ਹਰਿ ਸੰਗਿ ਪਹਰੂਆ ॥ ऊठत सोवत हरि संगि पहरूआ ॥ Ootʰaṫ sovaṫ har sang pahroo▫aa. While rising up, and while lying down in sleep, the Lord is always with you, watching over you. ਜਾ ਕੈ ਸਿਮਰਣਿ ਜਮ ਨਹੀ ਡਰੂਆ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥ जा कै सिमरणि जम नही डरूआ ॥१॥ रहाउ ॥ Jaa kæ simraṇ jam nahee daroo▫aa. ||1|| rahaa▫o. Remembering Him in meditation, the fear of Death departs. ||1||Pause|| ਚਰਣ ਕਮਲ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਰਿਦੈ ਨਿਵਾਸੁ ॥ चरण कमल प्रभ रिदै निवासु ॥ Charaṇ kamal parabʰ riḋæ nivaas. With God’s Lotus Feet abiding in the heart, ਸਗਲ ਦੂਖ ਕਾ ਹੋਇਆ ਨਾਸੁ ॥੨॥ सगल दूख का होइआ नासु ॥२॥ Sagal ḋookʰ kaa ho▫i▫aa naas. ||2|| all suffering comes to an end. ||2|| ਆਸਾ ਮਾਣੁ ਤਾਣੁ ਧਨੁ ਏਕ ॥ आसा माणु ताणु धनु एक ॥ Aasaa maaṇ ṫaaṇ ḋʰan ék. The One Lord is my hope, honor, power and wealth. ਸਾਚੇ ਸਾਹ ਕੀ ਮਨ ਮਹਿ ਟੇਕ ॥੩॥ साचे साह की मन महि टेक ॥३॥ Saaché saah kee man mėh ték. ||3|| Within my mind is the Support of the True Banker. ||3|| ਮਹਾ ਗਰੀਬ ਜਨ ਸਾਧ ਅਨਾਥ ॥ महा गरीब जन साध अनाथ ॥ Mahaa gareeb jan saaḋʰ anaaṫʰ. I am the poorest and most helpless servant of the Holy. ਨਾਨਕ ਪ੍ਰਭਿ ਰਾਖੇ ਦੇ ਹਾਥ ॥੪॥੮੫॥੧੫੪॥ नानक प्रभि राखे दे हाथ ॥४॥८५॥१५४॥ Naanak parabʰ raakʰé ḋé haaṫʰ. ||4||85||154|| O Nanak!
