ਗਉੜੀ ਗੁਆਰੇਰੀ ਮਹਲਾ ੫ ॥ गउड़ी गुआरेरी महला ५ ॥ Ga▫oṛee gu▫aaréree mėhlaa 5. Gauree Gwaarayree, Fifth Mehl: ਜਿਸੁ ਮਨਿ ਵਸੈ ਤਰੈ ਜਨੁ ਸੋਇ ॥ जिसु मनि वसै तरै जनु सोइ ॥ Jis man vasæ ṫaræ jan so▫é. Those whose minds are filled with the Lord, swim across. ਜਾ ਕੈ ਕਰਮਿ ਪਰਾਪਤਿ ਹੋਇ ॥ जा कै करमि परापति होइ ॥ Jaa kæ karam paraapaṫ ho▫é. Those who have the blessing of good karma, meet with the Lord. ਦੂਖੁ ਰੋਗੁ ਕਛੁ ਭਉ ਨ ਬਿਆਪੈ ॥ दूखु रोगु कछु भउ न बिआपै ॥ Ḋookʰ rog kachʰ bʰa▫o na bi▫aapæ. Pain, disease and fear do not affect them at all. ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤ ਨਾਮੁ ਰਿਦੈ ਹਰਿ ਜਾਪੈ ॥੧॥ अमृत नामु रिदै हरि जापै ॥१॥ Amriṫ naam riḋæ har jaapæ. ||1|| They meditate on the Ambrosial Name of the Lord within their hearts. ||1|| ਪਾਰਬ੍ਰਹਮੁ ਪਰਮੇਸੁਰੁ ਧਿਆਈਐ ॥ पारब्रहमु परमेसुरु धिआईऐ ॥ Paarbarahm parmésur ḋʰi▫aa▫ee▫æ. Meditate on the Supreme Lord God, the Transcendent Lord. ਗੁਰ ਪੂਰੇ ਤੇ ਇਹ ਮਤਿ ਪਾਈਐ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥ गुर पूरे ते इह मति पाईऐ ॥१॥ रहाउ ॥ Gur pooré ṫé ih maṫ paa▫ee▫æ. ||1|| rahaa▫o. From the Perfect Guru, this understanding is obtained. ||1||Pause|| ਕਰਣ ਕਰਾਵਨਹਾਰ ਦਇਆਲ ॥ करण करावनहार दइआल ॥ Karaṇ karaavanhaar ḋa▫i▫aal. The Merciful Lord is the Doer, the Cause of all causes. ਜੀਅ ਜੰਤ ਸਗਲੇ ਪ੍ਰਤਿਪਾਲ ॥ जीअ जंत सगले प्रतिपाल ॥ Jee▫a janṫ saglé parṫipaal. He cherishes and nurtures all beings and creatures. ਅਗਮ ਅਗੋਚਰ ਸਦਾ ਬੇਅੰਤਾ ॥ अगम अगोचर सदा बेअंता ॥ Agam agochar saḋaa bé▫anṫaa. He is Inaccessible, Incomprehensible, Eternal and Infinite. ਸਿਮਰਿ ਮਨਾ ਪੂਰੇ ਗੁਰ ਮੰਤਾ ॥੨॥ सिमरि मना पूरे गुर मंता ॥२॥ Simar manaa pooré gur mannṫaa. ||2|| Meditate on Him, O my mind! Through the Teachings of the Perfect Guru. ||2|| ਜਾ ਕੀ ਸੇਵਾ ਸਰਬ ਨਿਧਾਨੁ ॥ जा की सेवा सरब निधानु ॥ Jaa kee sévaa sarab niḋʰaan. Serving Him, all treasures are obtained. ਪ੍ਰਭ ਕੀ ਪੂਜਾ ਪਾਈਐ ਮਾਨੁ ॥ प्रभ की पूजा पाईऐ मानु ॥ Parabʰ kee poojaa paa▫ee▫æ maan. worshiping God, honor is obtained. ਜਾ ਕੀ ਟਹਲ ਨ ਬਿਰਥੀ ਜਾਇ ॥ जा की टहल न बिरथी जाइ ॥ Jaa kee tahal na birṫʰee jaa▫é. Working for Him is never in vain; ਸਦਾ ਸਦਾ ਹਰਿ ਕੇ ਗੁਣ ਗਾਇ ॥੩॥ सदा सदा हरि के गुण गाइ ॥३॥ Saḋaa saḋaa har ké guṇ gaa▫é. ||3|| forever and ever, sing the Glorious Praises of the Lord. ||3|| ਕਰਿ ਕਿਰਪਾ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਅੰਤਰਜਾਮੀ ॥ करि किरपा प्रभ अंतरजामी ॥ Kar kirpaa parabʰ anṫarjaamee. Show Mercy to me, O God, O Searcher of hearts. ਸੁਖ ਨਿਧਾਨ ਹਰਿ ਅਲਖ ਸੁਆਮੀ ॥ सुख निधान हरि अलख सुआमी ॥ Sukʰ niḋʰaan har alakʰ su▫aamee. The Unseen Lord and Master is the Treasure of Peace. ਜੀਅ ਜੰਤ ਤੇਰੀ ਸਰਣਾਈ ॥ जीअ जंत तेरी सरणाई ॥ Jee▫a janṫ ṫéree sarṇaa▫ee. All beings and creatures seek Your Sanctuary; ਨਾਨਕ ਨਾਮੁ ਮਿਲੈ ਵਡਿਆਈ ॥੪॥੨੫॥੯੪॥ नानक नामु मिलै वडिआई ॥४॥२५॥९४॥ Naanak naam milæ vadi▫aa▫ee. ||4||25||94|| Nanak is blessed to receive the greatness of the Naam, the Name of the Lord. ||4||25||94||
