ਆਤਮ ਰਤੰ ਸੰਸਾਰ ਗਹੰ ਤੇ ਨਰ ਨਾਨਕ ਨਿਹਫਲਹ ॥੬੫॥ आतम रतं संसार गहं ते नर नानक निहफलह ॥६५॥ Aaṫam raṫaⁿ sansaar gahaⁿ ṫé nar Naanak nihfalėh. ||65|| Those whose souls are imbued with the world - O Nanak! Their lives are fruitless. ||65|| ਬ੍ਰਹਮਣਹ ਸੰਗਿ ਉਧਰਣੰ ਬ੍ਰਹਮ ਕਰਮ ਜਿ ਪੂਰਣਹ ॥ ब्रहमणह संगि उधरणं ब्रहम करम जि पूरणह ॥ Barahmaṇėh sang uḋʰarṇaⁿ barahm karam jė poorṇah. Associating with the Brahmin, one is saved, if his actions are perfect and God-like. ਲਉ ਲਈ ਤ੍ਰਿਸਨਾ ਅਤਿਪਤਿ ਮਨ ਮਾਏ ਕਰਮ ਕਰਤ ਸਿ ਸੂਕਰਹ ॥੬੬॥ लउ लई त्रिसना अतिपति मन माए करम करत सि सूकरह ॥६६॥ La▫o la▫ee ṫarisnaa aṫipaṫ man maa▫é karam karaṫ sė sookrah. ||66|| His desire for this and that is not satisfied; his mind is caught in Maya, and he is acting like a pig. ||66|| ਪਰ ਦਰਬ ਹਿਰਣੰ ਬਹੁ ਵਿਘਨ ਕਰਣੰ ਉਚਰਣੰ ਸਰਬ ਜੀਅ ਕਹ ॥ पर दरब हिरणं बहु विघन करणं उचरणं सरब जीअ कह ॥ Par ḋarab hirṇaⁿ baho vigʰan karṇaⁿ ucharṇaⁿ sarab jee▫a kah. The mortal steals the wealth of others, and causes all sorts of problems; his preaching is only for his own livelihood. ਮਤੇ ਸਮੇਵ ਚਰਣੰ ਉਧਰਣੰ ਭੈ ਦੁਤਰਹ ॥ मते समेव चरणं उधरणं भै दुतरह ॥ Maṫé samév charṇaⁿ uḋʰarṇaⁿ bʰæ ḋuṫrah. Those who are intoxicated and absorbed in the Lord’s Lotus Feet are saved from the terrifying world-ocean. ਅਨੇਕ ਪਾਤਿਕ ਹਰਣੰ ਨਾਨਕ ਸਾਧ ਸੰਗਮ ਨ ਸੰਸਯਹ ॥੬੭॥੪॥ अनेक पातिक हरणं नानक साध संगम न संसयह ॥६७॥४॥ Anék paaṫik harṇaⁿ Naanak saaḋʰ sangam na sansyah. ||67||4|| Countless sins are destroyed, O Nanak! In the Saadh Sangat, the Company of the Holy; there is no doubt about this. ||67||4||
