ਰਾਮੁ ਭਜੁ ਰਾਮੁ ਭਜੁ ਜਨਮੁ ਸਿਰਾਤੁ ਹੈ ॥ रामु भजु रामु भजु जनमु सिरातु है ॥ Rām bẖaj rām bẖaj janam sirāṯ hai. Meditate on the Lord - vibrate on the Lord; your life is slipping away. ਜੈਜਾਵੰਤੀ ਮਹਲਾ ੯ ॥ जैजावंती महला ९ ॥ Jaijāvanṯī mėhlā 9. Jaijaavantee, Ninth Mehl: ਕਹਉ ਕਹਾ ਬਾਰ ਬਾਰ ਸਮਝਤ ਨਹ ਕਿਉ ਗਵਾਰ ॥ कहउ कहा बार बार समझत नह किउ गवार ॥ Kaha▫o kahā bār bār samjẖaṯ nah ki▫o gavār. Why am I telling you this again and again? You fool - why don't you understand? ਬਿਨਸਤ ਨਹ ਲਗੈ ਬਾਰ ਓਰੇ ਸਮ ਗਾਤੁ ਹੈ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥ बिनसत नह लगै बार ओरे सम गातु है ॥१॥ रहाउ ॥ Binsaṯ nah lagai bār ore sam gāṯ hai. ||1|| rahā▫o. Your body is like a hail-stone; it melts away in no time at all. ||1||Pause|| ਸਗਲ ਭਰਮ ਡਾਰਿ ਦੇਹਿ ਗੋਬਿੰਦ ਕੋ ਨਾਮੁ ਲੇਹਿ ॥ सगल भरम डारि देहि गोबिंद को नामु लेहि ॥ Sagal bẖaram dār ḏėh gobinḏ ko nām lehi. So give up all your doubts, and utter the Naam, the Name of the Lord. ਅੰਤਿ ਬਾਰ ਸੰਗਿ ਤੇਰੈ ਇਹੈ ਏਕੁ ਜਾਤੁ ਹੈ ॥੧॥ अंति बार संगि तेरै इहै एकु जातु है ॥१॥ Anṯ bār sang ṯerai ihai ek jāṯ hai. ||1|| At the very last moment, this alone shall go along with you. ||1|| ਬਿਖਿਆ ਬਿਖੁ ਜਿਉ ਬਿਸਾਰਿ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਕੌ ਜਸੁ ਹੀਏ ਧਾਰਿ ॥ बिखिआ बिखु जिउ बिसारि प्रभ कौ जसु हीए धारि ॥ Bikẖi▫ā bikẖ ji▫o bisār parabẖ kou jas hī▫e ḏẖār. Forget the poisonous sins of corruption, and enshrine the Praises of God in your heart. ਨਾਨਕ ਜਨ ਕਹਿ ਪੁਕਾਰਿ ਅਉਸਰੁ ਬਿਹਾਤੁ ਹੈ ॥੨॥੨॥ नानक जन कहि पुकारि अउसरु बिहातु है ॥२॥२॥ Nānak jan kahi pukār a▫osar bihāṯ hai. ||2||2|| Servant Nanak proclaims that this opportunity is slipping away. ||2||2||
