ੴ ਸਤਿਗੁਰ ਪ੍ਰਸਾਦਿ ॥ ੴ सतिगुर प्रसादि ॥ Ik▫oaʼnkār saṯgur parsāḏ. One Universal Creator God. By The Grace Of The True Guru: ਪ੍ਰਭਾਤੀ ਮਹਲਾ ੫ ਬਿਭਾਸ प्रभाती महला ५ बिभास Parbẖāṯī mėhlā 5 bibẖās Prabhaatee, Fifth Mehl, Bibhaas: ਪੰਚ ਤਤ ਰਚਿ ਜੋਤਿ ਨਿਵਾਜਿਆ ॥ पंच तत रचि जोति निवाजिआ ॥ Pancẖ ṯaṯ racẖ joṯ nivāji▫ā. From the five elements, He formed it, and infused His Light within it. ਸਿਹਜਾ ਧਰਤਿ ਬਰਤਨ ਕਉ ਪਾਨੀ ॥ सिहजा धरति बरतन कउ पानी ॥ Sihjā ḏẖaraṯ barṯan ka▫o pānī. He made the earth its bed, and water for it to use. ਮਨੁ ਹਰਿ ਕੀਆ ਤਨੁ ਸਭੁ ਸਾਜਿਆ ॥ मनु हरि कीआ तनु सभु साजिआ ॥ Man har kī▫ā ṯan sabẖ sāji▫ā. The Lord created the mind, and fashioned the entire body. ਨਿਮਖ ਨ ਵਿਸਾਰਹੁ ਸੇਵਹੁ ਸਾਰਿਗਪਾਨੀ ॥੧॥ निमख न विसारहु सेवहु सारिगपानी ॥१॥ Nimakẖ na visārahu sevhu sārigpānī. ||1|| Do not forget Him for an instant; serve the Lord of the World. ||1|| ਮਨ ਸਤਿਗੁਰੁ ਸੇਵਿ ਹੋਇ ਪਰਮ ਗਤੇ ॥ मन सतिगुरु सेवि होइ परम गते ॥ Man saṯgur sev ho▫e param gaṯe. O mind, serve the True Guru, and obtain the supreme status. ਹਰਖ ਸੋਗ ਤੇ ਰਹਹਿ ਨਿਰਾਰਾ ਤਾਂ ਤੂ ਪਾਵਹਿ ਪ੍ਰਾਨਪਤੇ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥ हरख सोग ते रहहि निरारा तां तू पावहि प्रानपते ॥१॥ रहाउ ॥ Harakẖ sog ṯe rahėh nirārā ṯāʼn ṯū pāvahi paranpaṯe. ||1|| rahā▫o. If you remain unattached and unaffected by sorrow and joy, then you shall find the Lord of Life. ||1||Pause|| ਕਾਪੜ ਭੋਗ ਰਸ ਅਨਿਕ ਭੁੰਚਾਏ ॥ कापड़ भोग रस अनिक भुंचाए ॥ Kāpaṛ bẖog ras anik bẖuncẖā▫e. He makes all the various pleasures, clothes and foods for you to enjoy. ਮਾਤ ਪਿਤਾ ਕੁਟੰਬ ਸਗਲ ਬਨਾਏ ॥ मात पिता कुट्मब सगल बनाए ॥ Māṯ piṯā kutamb sagal banā▫e. He made your mother, father and all relatives. ਰਿਜਕੁ ਸਮਾਹੇ ਜਲਿ ਥਲਿ ਮੀਤ ॥ रिजकु समाहे जलि थलि मीत ॥ Rijak samāhe jal thal mīṯ. He provides sustenance to all, in the water and on the land, O friend. ਸੋ ਹਰਿ ਸੇਵਹੁ ਨੀਤਾ ਨੀਤ ॥੨॥ सो हरि सेवहु नीता नीत ॥२॥ So har sevhu nīṯā nīṯ. ||2|| So serve the Lord, forever and ever. ||2|| ਤਹਾ ਸਖਾਈ ਜਹ ਕੋਇ ਨ ਹੋਵੈ ॥ तहा सखाई जह कोइ न होवै ॥ Ŧahā sakẖā▫ī jah ko▫e na hovai. He shall be your Helper and Support there, where no one else can help you. ਕੋਟਿ ਅਪ੍ਰਾਧ ਇਕ ਖਿਨ ਮਹਿ ਧੋਵੈ ॥ कोटि अप्राध इक खिन महि धोवै ॥ Kot aprāḏẖ ik kẖin mėh ḏẖovai. He washes away millions of sins in an instant. ਦਾਤਿ ਕਰੈ ਨਹੀ ਪਛੋੁਤਾਵੈ ॥ दाति करै नही पछोतावै ॥ Ḏāṯ karai nahī pacẖẖoṯāvai. He bestows His Gifts, and never regrets them. ਏਕਾ ਬਖਸ ਫਿਰਿ ਬਹੁਰਿ ਨ ਬੁਲਾਵੈ ॥੩॥ एका बखस फिरि बहुरि न बुलावै ॥३॥ Ėkā bakẖas fir bahur na bulāvai. ||3|| He forgives, once and for all, and never asks for one's account again. ||3|| ਸਾਧਸੰਗਤਿ ਮਹਿ ਬਸੇ ਗੁਪਾਲ ॥ साधसंगति महि बसे गुपाल ॥ Sāḏẖsangaṯ mėh base gupāl. In the Saadh Sangat, the Company of the Holy, the Lord of the World abides. ਗੁਰ ਮਿਲਿ ਆਏ ਤੁਮਰੈ ਦੁਆਰ ॥ गुर मिलि आए तुमरै दुआर ॥ Gur mil ā▫e ṯumrai ḏu▫ār. Meeting with the Guru, I have come to Your Door. ਕਿਰਤ ਸੰਜੋਗੀ ਪਾਇਆ ਭਾਲਿ ॥ किरत संजोगी पाइआ भालि ॥ Kiraṯ sanjogī pā▫i▫ā bẖāl. By pre-ordained destiny, I have searched and found God. ਜਨ ਨਾਨਕ ਦਰਸਨੁ ਦੇਹੁ ਮੁਰਾਰਿ ॥੪॥੧॥ जन नानक दरसनु देहु मुरारि ॥४॥१॥ Jan Nānak ḏarsan ḏeh murār. ||4||1|| O Lord, please bless servant Nanak with the Blessed Vision of Your Darshan. ||4||1||
