ਹਰਿ ਹਰਿ ਨਾਮੁ ਪਵਿਤੁ ਹੈ ਨਾਮੁ ਜਪਤ ਦੁਖੁ ਜਾਇ ॥ हरि हरि नामु पवितु है नामु जपत दुखु जाइ ॥ Har har nām paviṯ hai nām japaṯ ḏukẖ jā▫e. The Name of the Lord, Har, Har, is Sacred and Immaculate. Chanting the Naam, pain is dispelled. ਮਃ ੪ ॥ मः ४ ॥ Mėhlā 4. Fourth Mehl: ਜਿਨ ਕਉ ਪੂਰਬਿ ਲਿਖਿਆ ਤਿਨ ਮਨਿ ਵਸਿਆ ਆਇ ॥ जिन कउ पूरबि लिखिआ तिन मनि वसिआ आइ ॥ Jin ka▫o pūrab likẖi▫ā ṯin man vasi▫ā ā▫e. God comes to abide in the minds of those who have such pre-ordained destiny. ਸਤਿਗੁਰ ਕੈ ਭਾਣੈ ਜੋ ਚਲੈ ਤਿਨ ਦਾਲਦੁ ਦੁਖੁ ਲਹਿ ਜਾਇ ॥ सतिगुर कै भाणै जो चलै तिन दालदु दुखु लहि जाइ ॥ Saṯgur kai bẖāṇai jo cẖalai ṯin ḏālaḏ ḏukẖ lėh jā▫e. Those who walk in harmony with the Will of the True Guru are rid of pain and poverty. ਆਪਣੈ ਭਾਣੈ ਕਿਨੈ ਨ ਪਾਇਓ ਜਨ ਵੇਖਹੁ ਮਨਿ ਪਤੀਆਇ ॥ आपणै भाणै किनै न पाइओ जन वेखहु मनि पतीआइ ॥ Āpṇai bẖāṇai kinai na pā▫i▫o jan vekẖhu man paṯī▫ā▫e. No one finds the Lord by his own will; see this, and satisfy your mind. ਜਨੁ ਨਾਨਕੁ ਦਾਸਨ ਦਾਸੁ ਹੈ ਜੋ ਸਤਿਗੁਰ ਲਾਗੇ ਪਾਇ ॥੨॥ जनु नानकु दासन दासु है जो सतिगुर लागे पाइ ॥२॥ Jan Nānak ḏāsan ḏās hai jo saṯgur lāge pā▫e. ||2|| Servant Nanak is the slave of the slave of those who fall at the Feet of the True Guru. ||2||
