ਕਾਨੜਾ ਮਹਲਾ ੪ ॥ कानड़ा महला ४ ॥ Kaanṛaa mėhlaa 4. Kaanraa, Fourth Mehl: ਸਤਿਗੁਰ ਚਾਟਉ ਪਗ ਚਾਟ ॥ सतिगुर चाटउ पग चाट ॥ Saṫgur chaata▫o pag chaat. I eagerly kiss the Feet of the True Guru. ਹਰਿ ਹੋ ਹੋ ਲਿਖੇ ਲਿਲਾਟ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥ हरि हो हो लिखे लिलाट ॥१॥ रहाउ ॥ Har ho ho likʰé lilaat. ||1|| rahaa▫o. The Lord has written this destiny on my forehead. ||1||Pause|| ਜਿਤੁ ਮਿਲਿ ਹਰਿ ਪਾਧਰ ਬਾਟ ॥ जितु मिलि हरि पाधर बाट ॥ Jiṫ mil har paaḋʰar baat. Meeting Him, the Path to the Lord becomes smooth and easy. ਭਜੁ ਹਰਿ ਰਸੁ ਰਸ ਹਰਿ ਗਾਟ ॥ भजु हरि रसु रस हरि गाट ॥ Bʰaj har ras ras har gaat. I lovingly vibrate and meditate on the Lord, and gulp down His Sublime Essence. ਖਟ ਕਰਮ ਕਿਰਿਆ ਕਰਿ ਬਹੁ ਬਹੁ ਬਿਸਥਾਰ ਸਿਧ ਸਾਧਿਕ ਜੋਗੀਆ ਕਰਿ ਜਟ ਜਟਾ ਜਟ ਜਾਟ ॥ खट करम किरिआ करि बहु बहु बिसथार सिध साधिक जोगीआ करि जट जटा जट जाट ॥ Kʰat karam kiri▫aa kar baho baho bisṫʰaar siḋʰ saaḋʰik jogee▫aa kar jat jataa jat jaat. Some perform the six rituals and rites; the Siddhas, seekers and Yogis put on all sorts of pompous shows, with their hair all tangled and matted. ਕਰਿ ਭੇਖ ਨ ਪਾਈਐ ਹਰਿ ਬ੍ਰਹਮ ਜੋਗੁ ਹਰਿ ਪਾਈਐ ਸਤਸੰਗਤੀ ਉਪਦੇਸਿ ਗੁਰੂ ਗੁਰ ਸੰਤ ਜਨਾ ਖੋਲਿ ਖੋਲਿ ਕਪਾਟ ॥੧॥ करि भेख न पाईऐ हरि ब्रहम जोगु हरि पाईऐ सतसंगती उपदेसि गुरू गुर संत जना खोलि खोलि कपाट ॥१॥ Kar bʰékʰ na paa▫ee▫æ har barahm jog har paa▫ee▫æ saṫsangṫee upḋés guroo gur sanṫ janaa kʰol kʰol kapaat. ||1|| Yoga - Union with the Lord God - is not obtained by wearing religious robes; the Lord is found in the Sat Sangat, the True Congregation, and the Guru’s Teachings. The humble Saints throw the doors wide open. ||1|| ਤੂ ਅਪਰੰਪਰੁ ਸੁਆਮੀ ਅਤਿ ਅਗਾਹੁ ਤੂ ਭਰਪੁਰਿ ਰਹਿਆ ਜਲ ਥਲੇ ਹਰਿ ਇਕੁ ਇਕੋ ਇਕ ਏਕੈ ਹਰਿ ਥਾਟ ॥ तू अपर्मपरु सुआमी अति अगाहु तू भरपुरि रहिआ जल थले हरि इकु इको इक एकै हरि थाट ॥ Ṫoo aprampar su▫aamee aṫ agaahu ṫoo bʰarpur rahi▫aa jal ṫʰalé har ik iko ik ékæ har ṫʰaat. O my Lord and Master, You are the farthest of the far, utterly unfathomable. You are totally pervading the water and the land. You alone are the One and Only Unique Lord of all creation. ਤੂ ਜਾਣਹਿ ਸਭ ਬਿਧਿ ਬੂਝਹਿ ਆਪੇ ਜਨ ਨਾਨਕ ਕੇ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਘਟਿ ਘਟੇ ਘਟਿ ਘਟੇ ਘਟਿ ਹਰਿ ਘਾਟ ॥੨॥੪॥੧੦॥ तू जाणहि सभ बिधि बूझहि आपे जन नानक के प्रभ घटि घटे घटि घटे घटि हरि घाट ॥२॥४॥१०॥ Ṫoo jaaṇėh sabʰ biḋʰ boojʰėh aapé jan Naanak ké parabʰ gʰat gʰaté gʰat gʰaté gʰat har gʰaat. ||2||4||10|| You alone know all Your ways and means. You alone understand Yourself. Servant Nanak’s Lord God is in each heart, in every heart, in the home of each and every heart. ||2||4||10||
