Pa▫oṛee.
Pauree:

ਸਿਰਿ ਸਿਰਿ ਹੋਇ ਨਿਬੇੜੁ ਹੁਕਮਿ ਚਲਾਇਆ
सिरि सिरि होइ निबेड़ु हुकमि चलाइआ ॥
Sir sir ho▫é nibéṛ hukam chalaa▫i▫aa.
He judges each and every being; by the Hukam of His Command, He leads us on.

ਕਾਲੁ ਚਲਾਏ ਬੰਨਿ ਕੋਇ ਰਖਸੀ
कालु चलाए बंनि कोइ न रखसी ॥
Kaal chalaa▫é bann ko▫é na rakʰsee.
The mortal is bound and gagged by Death and is led away; no one can rescue him.

ਤੇਰੈ ਹਥਿ ਨਿਬੇੜੁ ਤੂਹੈ ਮਨਿ ਭਾਇਆ
तेरै हथि निबेड़ु तूहै मनि भाइआ ॥
Ṫéræ haṫʰ nibéṛ ṫoohæ man bʰaa▫i▫aa.
Justice is in Your Hands, O Lord; You are pleasing to my mind.

ਜਰੁ ਜਰਵਾਣਾ ਕੰਨੑਿ ਚੜਿਆ ਨਚਸੀ
जरु जरवाणा कंन्हि चड़िआ नचसी ॥
Jar jarvaaṇaa kaⁿniĥ chaṛi▫aa nachsee.
Old age, the tyrant, dances on the mortal’s shoulders.

ਸਤਿਗੁਰੁ ਬੋਹਿਥੁ ਬੇੜੁ ਸਚਾ ਰਖਸੀ
सतिगुरु बोहिथु बेड़ु सचा रखसी ॥
Saṫgur bohiṫʰ béṛ sachaa rakʰsee.
So, climb aboard the boat of the True Guru, and the True Lord will rescue you.

ਅਗਨਿ ਭਖੈ ਭੜਹਾੜੁ ਅਨਦਿਨੁ ਭਖਸੀ
अगनि भखै भड़हाड़ु अनदिनु भखसी ॥
Agan bʰakʰæ bʰaṛhaaṛ an▫ḋin bʰakʰsee.
The fire of desire burns like an oven, consuming mortals night and day.

ਫਾਥਾ ਚੁਗੈ ਚੋਗ ਹੁਕਮੀ ਛੁਟਸੀ
फाथा चुगै चोग हुकमी छुटसी ॥
Faaṫʰaa chugæ chog hukmee chʰutsee.
Like trapped birds, the mortals peck at the corn; only through the Lord’s Command will they find release.

ਕਰਤਾ ਕਰੇ ਸੁ ਹੋਗੁ ਕੂੜੁ ਨਿਖੁਟਸੀ ॥੨੬॥
करता करे सु होगु कूड़ु निखुटसी ॥२६॥
Karṫaa karé so hog kooṛ nikʰutsee. ||26||
Whatever the Creator does, comes to pass; falsehood shall fail in the end. ||26||
