ਭਿੰਨੀ ਰੈਣਿ ਚਮਕਿਆ ਵੁਠਾ ਛਹਬਰ ਲਾਇ ॥ भिंनी रैणि चमकिआ वुठा छहबर लाइ ॥ Bẖinnī raiṇ cẖamki▫ā vuṯẖā cẖẖahbar lā▫e. The night is wet with dew; lightning flashes, and the rain pours down in torrents. ਮਃ ੩ ॥ मः ३ ॥ Mėhlā 3. Third Mehl: ਜਿਤੁ ਵੁਠੈ ਅਨੁ ਧਨੁ ਬਹੁਤੁ ਊਪਜੈ ਜਾਂ ਸਹੁ ਕਰੇ ਰਜਾਇ ॥ जितु वुठै अनु धनु बहुतु ऊपजै जां सहु करे रजाइ ॥ Jiṯ vuṯẖai an ḏẖan bahuṯ ūpjai jāʼn saho kare rajā▫e. Food and wealth are produced in abundance when it rains, if it is the Will of God. ਜਿਤੁ ਖਾਧੈ ਮਨੁ ਤ੍ਰਿਪਤੀਐ ਜੀਆਂ ਜੁਗਤਿ ਸਮਾਇ ॥ जितु खाधै मनु त्रिपतीऐ जीआं जुगति समाइ ॥ Jiṯ kẖāḏẖai man ṯaripaṯ▫ī▫ai jī▫āʼn jugaṯ samā▫e. Consuming it, the minds of His creatures are satisfied, and they adopt the lifestyle of the way. ਇਹੁ ਧਨੁ ਕਰਤੇ ਕਾ ਖੇਲੁ ਹੈ ਕਦੇ ਆਵੈ ਕਦੇ ਜਾਇ ॥ इहु धनु करते का खेलु है कदे आवै कदे जाइ ॥ Ih ḏẖan karṯe kā kẖel hai kaḏe āvai kaḏe jā▫e. This wealth is the play of the Creator Lord. Sometimes it comes, and sometimes it goes. ਗਿਆਨੀਆ ਕਾ ਧਨੁ ਨਾਮੁ ਹੈ ਸਦ ਹੀ ਰਹੈ ਸਮਾਇ ॥ गिआनीआ का धनु नामु है सद ही रहै समाइ ॥ Gi▫ānī▫ā kā ḏẖan nām hai saḏ hī rahai samā▫e. The Naam is the wealth of the spiritually wise. It is permeating and pervading forever. ਨਾਨਕ ਜਿਨ ਕਉ ਨਦਰਿ ਕਰੇ ਤਾਂ ਇਹੁ ਧਨੁ ਪਲੈ ਪਾਇ ॥੨॥ नानक जिन कउ नदरि करे तां इहु धनु पलै पाइ ॥२॥ Nānak jin ka▫o naḏar kare ṯāʼn ih ḏẖan palai pā▫e. ||2|| O Nanak, those who are blessed with His Glance of Grace receive this wealth. ||2||
