ਮਲਾਰ ਮਹਲਾ ੩ ॥ मलार महला ३ ॥ Malār mėhlā 3. Malaar, Third Mehl: ਜੀਉ ਪਿੰਡੁ ਪ੍ਰਾਣ ਸਭਿ ਤਿਸ ਕੇ ਘਟਿ ਘਟਿ ਰਹਿਆ ਸਮਾਈ ॥ जीउ पिंडु प्राण सभि तिस के घटि घटि रहिआ समाई ॥ Jī▫o pind parāṇ sabẖ ṯis ke gẖat gẖat rahi▫ā samā▫ī. Soul, body and breath of life are all His; He is permeating and pervading each and every heart. ਏਕਸੁ ਬਿਨੁ ਮੈ ਅਵਰੁ ਨ ਜਾਣਾ ਸਤਿਗੁਰਿ ਦੀਆ ਬੁਝਾਈ ॥੧॥ एकसु बिनु मै अवरु न जाणा सतिगुरि दीआ बुझाई ॥१॥ Ėkas bin mai avar na jāṇā saṯgur ḏī▫ā bujẖā▫ī. ||1|| Except the One Lord, I do not know any other at all. The True Guru has revealed this to me. ||1|| ਮਨ ਮੇਰੇ ਨਾਮਿ ਰਹਉ ਲਿਵ ਲਾਈ ॥ मन मेरे नामि रहउ लिव लाई ॥ Man mere nām raha▫o liv lā▫ī. O my mind, remain lovingly attuned to the Naam, the Name of the Lord. ਅਦਿਸਟੁ ਅਗੋਚਰੁ ਅਪਰੰਪਰੁ ਕਰਤਾ ਗੁਰ ਕੈ ਸਬਦਿ ਹਰਿ ਧਿਆਈ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥ अदिसटु अगोचरु अपर्मपरु करता गुर कै सबदि हरि धिआई ॥१॥ रहाउ ॥ Aḏisat agocẖar aprampar karṯā gur kai sabaḏ har ḏẖi▫ā▫ī. ||1|| rahā▫o. Through the Word of the Guru's Shabad, I meditate on the Lord, the Unseen, Unfathomable and Infinite Creator. ||1||Pause|| ਮਨੁ ਤਨੁ ਭੀਜੈ ਏਕ ਲਿਵ ਲਾਗੈ ਸਹਜੇ ਰਹੇ ਸਮਾਈ ॥ मनु तनु भीजै एक लिव लागै सहजे रहे समाई ॥ Man ṯan bẖījai ek liv lāgai sėhje rahe samā▫ī. Mind and body are pleased, lovingly attuned to the One Lord, intuitively absorbed in peace and poise. ਗੁਰ ਪਰਸਾਦੀ ਭ੍ਰਮੁ ਭਉ ਭਾਗੈ ਏਕ ਨਾਮਿ ਲਿਵ ਲਾਈ ॥੨॥ गुर परसादी भ्रमु भउ भागै एक नामि लिव लाई ॥२॥ Gur parsādī bẖaram bẖa▫o bẖāgai ek nām liv lā▫ī. ||2|| By Guru's Grace, doubt and fear are dispelled, being lovingly attuned to the One Name. ||2|| ਗੁਰ ਬਚਨੀ ਸਚੁ ਕਾਰ ਕਮਾਵੈ ਗਤਿ ਮਤਿ ਤਬ ਹੀ ਪਾਈ ॥ गुर बचनी सचु कार कमावै गति मति तब ही पाई ॥ Gur bacẖnī sacẖ kār kamāvai gaṯ maṯ ṯab hī pā▫ī. When the mortal follows the Guru's Teachings, and lives the Truth, then he attains the state of emancipation. ਕੋਟਿ ਮਧੇ ਕਿਸਹਿ ਬੁਝਾਏ ਤਿਨਿ ਰਾਮ ਨਾਮਿ ਲਿਵ ਲਾਈ ॥੩॥ कोटि मधे किसहि बुझाए तिनि राम नामि लिव लाई ॥३॥ Kot maḏẖe kisėh bujẖā▫e ṯin rām nām liv lā▫ī. ||3|| Among millions, how rare is that one who understands, and is lovingly attuned to the Name of the Lord. ||3|| ਜਹ ਜਹ ਦੇਖਾ ਤਹ ਏਕੋ ਸੋਈ ਇਹ ਗੁਰਮਤਿ ਬੁਧਿ ਪਾਈ ॥ जह जह देखा तह एको सोई इह गुरमति बुधि पाई ॥ Jah jah ḏekẖā ṯah eko so▫ī ih gurmaṯ buḏẖ pā▫ī. Wherever I look, there I see the One. This understanding has come through the Guru's Teachings. ਮਨੁ ਤਨੁ ਪ੍ਰਾਨ ਧਰੀ ਤਿਸੁ ਆਗੈ ਨਾਨਕ ਆਪੁ ਗਵਾਈ ॥੪॥੭॥ मनु तनु प्रान धरीं तिसु आगै नानक आपु गवाई ॥४॥७॥ Man ṯan parān ḏẖarīʼn ṯis āgai Nānak āp gavā▫ī. ||4||7|| I place my mind, body and breath of life in offering before Him; O Nanak, self-conceit is gone. ||4||7|| ਮੇਰਾ ਪ੍ਰਭੁ ਸਾਚਾ ਦੂਖ ਨਿਵਾਰਣੁ ਸਬਦੇ ਪਾਇਆ ਜਾਈ ॥ मेरा प्रभु साचा दूख निवारणु सबदे पाइआ जाई ॥ Merā parabẖ sācẖā ḏūkẖ nivāraṇ sabḏe pā▫i▫ā jā▫ī. My True Lord God, the Eradicator of suffering, is found through the Word of the Shabad.
