ਇਸਤਰੀ ਪੁਰਖੈ ਬਹੁ ਪ੍ਰੀਤਿ ਮਿਲਿ ਮੋਹੁ ਵਧਾਇਆ ॥ इसतरी पुरखै बहु प्रीति मिलि मोहु वधाइआ ॥ Isṯarī purkẖai baho parīṯ mil moh vaḏẖā▫i▫ā. The husband and wife are very much in love; joining together, their love increases. ਪਉੜੀ ॥ पउड़ी ॥ Pa▫oṛī. Pauree: ਦੇਸਿ ਪਰਦੇਸਿ ਧਨੁ ਚੋਰਾਇ ਆਣਿ ਮੁਹਿ ਪਾਇਆ ॥ देसि परदेसि धनु चोराइ आणि मुहि पाइआ ॥ Ḏes parḏes ḏẖan cẖorā▫e āṇ muhi pā▫i▫ā. Stealing the wealth of his own country and other lands, he brings it home and feeds them. ਪੁਤ੍ਰੁ ਕਲਤ੍ਰੁ ਨਿਤ ਵੇਖੈ ਵਿਗਸੈ ਮੋਹਿ ਮਾਇਆ ॥ पुत्रु कलत्रु नित वेखै विगसै मोहि माइआ ॥ Puṯar kalaṯar niṯ vekẖai vigsai mohi mā▫i▫ā. Gazing on his children and his wife, the man is pleased and attached to Maya. ਅੰਤਿ ਹੋਵੈ ਵੈਰ ਵਿਰੋਧੁ ਕੋ ਸਕੈ ਨ ਛਡਾਇਆ ॥ अंति होवै वैर विरोधु को सकै न छडाइआ ॥ Anṯ hovai vair viroḏẖ ko sakai na cẖẖadā▫i▫ā. In the end, hatred and conflict well up, and no one can save him. ਨਾਨਕ ਵਿਣੁ ਨਾਵੈ ਧ੍ਰਿਗੁ ਮੋਹੁ ਜਿਤੁ ਲਗਿ ਦੁਖੁ ਪਾਇਆ ॥੩੨॥ नानक विणु नावै ध्रिगु मोहु जितु लगि दुखु पाइआ ॥३२॥ Nānak viṇ nāvai ḏẖarig moh jiṯ lag ḏukẖ pā▫i▫ā. ||32|| O Nanak, without the Name, those loving attachments are cursed; engrossed in them, he suffers in pain. ||32||
