ਨਾਇ ਮੰਨਿਐ ਦੁਰਮਤਿ ਗਈ ਮਤਿ ਪਰਗਟੀ ਆਇਆ ॥ नाइ मंनिऐ दुरमति गई मति परगटी आइआ ॥ Nā▫e mani▫ai ḏurmaṯ ga▫ī maṯ pargatī ā▫i▫ā. With faith in the Name, evil-mindedness is eradicated, and the intellect is enlightened. ਪਉੜੀ ॥ पउड़ी ॥ Pa▫oṛī. Pauree: ਨਾਇ ਮੰਨਿਐ ਨਾਮੁ ਊਪਜੈ ਸਹਜੇ ਸੁਖੁ ਪਾਇਆ ॥ नाइ मंनिऐ नामु ऊपजै सहजे सुखु पाइआ ॥ Nā▫e mani▫ai nām ūpjai sėhje sukẖ pā▫i▫ā. Believing in the Name, The Name wells up, and intuitive peace and poise are obtained. ਨਾਉ ਮੰਨਿਐ ਹਉਮੈ ਗਈ ਸਭਿ ਰੋਗ ਗਵਾਇਆ ॥ नाउ मंनिऐ हउमै गई सभि रोग गवाइआ ॥ Nā▫o mani▫ai ha▫umai ga▫ī sabẖ rog gavā▫i▫ā. With faith in the Name, egotism is eradicated, and all sickness is cured. ਨਾਨਕ ਨਾਮੁ ਰਤੰਨੁ ਹੈ ਗੁਰਮੁਖਿ ਹਰਿ ਧਿਆਇਆ ॥੧੧॥ नानक नामु रतंनु है गुरमुखि हरि धिआइआ ॥११॥ Nānak nām raṯann hai gurmukẖ har ḏẖi▫ā▫i▫ā. ||11|| O Nanak, the Name is a jewel; the Gurmukh meditates on the Lord. ||11|| ਨਾਇ ਮੰਨਿਐ ਸਾਂਤਿ ਊਪਜੈ ਹਰਿ ਮੰਨਿ ਵਸਾਇਆ ॥ नाइ मंनिऐ सांति ऊपजै हरि मंनि वसाइआ ॥ Nā▫e mani▫ai sāʼnṯ ūpjai har man vasā▫i▫ā. Believing in the Name, tranquility and peace well up, and the Lord is enshrined in the mind.
