Why are you indulging in corrupt actions? ਦੇਖੁ ਰੀ ਬੀਚਾਰ ॥ देखु री बीचार ॥ Ḋékʰ ree beechaar. Look at this, see and understand! ਗੁਰ ਸਬਦੁ ਧਿਆਇ ਮਹਲੁ ਪਾਇ ॥ गुर सबदु धिआइ महलु पाइ ॥ Gur sabaḋ ḋʰi▫aa▫é mahal paa▫é. Meditate on the Word of the Guru’s Shabad, and attain the Mansion of the Lord’s Presence. ਸੁਭ ਬਚਨ ਬੋਲਿ ਗੁਨ ਅਮੋਲ ॥ सुभ बचन बोलि गुन अमोल ॥ Subʰ bachan bol gun amol. Chant His Sublime Word and His Priceless Glories. ਹਰਿ ਸੰਗਿ ਰੰਗ ਕਰਤੀ ਮਹਾ ਕੇਲ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥ हरि संगि रंग करती महा केल ॥१॥ रहाउ ॥ Har sang rang karṫee mahaa kél. ||1|| rahaa▫o. Imbued with the Love of the Lord, you shall totally play with Him. ||1||Pause|| ਸੁਪਨ ਰੀ ਸੰਸਾਰੁ ॥ सुपन री संसारु ॥ Supan ree sansaar. The world is a dream. ਮਿਥਨੀ ਬਿਸਥਾਰੁ ॥ मिथनी बिसथारु ॥ Miṫʰnee bisṫʰaar. Its expanse is false. ਸਖੀ ਕਾਇ ਮੋਹਿ ਮੋਹਿਲੀ ਪ੍ਰਿਅ ਪ੍ਰੀਤਿ ਰਿਦੈ ਮੇਲ ॥੧॥ सखी काइ मोहि मोहिली प्रिअ प्रीति रिदै मेल ॥१॥ Sakʰee kaa▫é mohi mohilee pari▫a pareeṫ riḋæ mél. ||1|| O my companion, why are you so enticed by the Enticer? Enshrine the Love of Your Beloved within your heart. ||1|| ਕਾਂਏਂ ਆਨ ਆਨ ਰੁਚੀਐ ॥ कांएं आन आन रुचीऐ ॥ Kaaⁿ▫éⁿ aan aan ruchee▫æ. Others - why are you involved with others? ਪ੍ਰਭੁ ਸਦਾ ਰੀ ਦਇਆਰੁ ॥ प्रभु सदा री दइआरु ॥ Parabʰ saḋaa ree ḋa▫i▫aar. God is always merciful. ਸਰਬ ਰੀ ਪ੍ਰੀਤਿ ਪਿਆਰੁ ॥ सरब री प्रीति पिआरु ॥ Sarab ree pareeṫ pi▫aar. He is total love and affection. ਹਰਿ ਸੰਗਿ ਸੰਗਿ ਖਚੀਐ ॥ हरि संगि संगि खचीऐ ॥ Har sang sang kʰachee▫æ. Remain involved with the Lord. ਜਉ ਸਾਧਸੰਗ ਪਾਏ ॥ जउ साधसंग पाए ॥ Ja▫o saaḋʰsang paa▫é. When you join the Saadh Sangat, the Company of the Holy, ਕਹੁ ਨਾਨਕ ਹਰਿ ਧਿਆਏ ॥ कहु नानक हरि धिआए ॥ Kaho Naanak har ḋʰi▫aa▫é. meditate on the Lord; says Nanak. ਅਬ ਰਹੇ ਜਮਹਿ ਮੇਲ ॥੨॥੧॥੧੩੦॥ अब रहे जमहि मेल ॥२॥१॥१३०॥ Ab rahé jamėh mél. ||2||1||130|| Now, your association with death has ended. ||2||1||130||
