ਸਾਰਗ ਮਹਲਾ ੫ ॥ सारग महला ५ ॥ Sārag mėhlā 5. Saarang, Fifth Mehl: ਹਰਿ ਕੇ ਨਾਮਹੀਨ ਮਤਿ ਥੋਰੀ ॥ हरि के नामहीन मति थोरी ॥ Har ke nāmhīn maṯ thorī. Without the Name of the Lord, his intellect is shallow. ਸਿਮਰਤ ਨਾਹਿ ਸਿਰੀਧਰ ਠਾਕੁਰ ਮਿਲਤ ਅੰਧ ਦੁਖ ਘੋਰੀ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥ सिमरत नाहि सिरीधर ठाकुर मिलत अंध दुख घोरी ॥१॥ रहाउ ॥ Simraṯ nāhi sirīḏẖar ṯẖākur milaṯ anḏẖ ḏukẖ gẖorī. ||1|| rahā▫o. He does not meditate in remembrance on the Lord, his Lord and Master; the blind fool suffers in terrible agony. ||1||Pause|| ਹਰਿ ਕੇ ਨਾਮ ਸਿਉ ਪ੍ਰੀਤਿ ਨ ਲਾਗੀ ਅਨਿਕ ਭੇਖ ਬਹੁ ਜੋਰੀ ॥ हरि के नाम सिउ प्रीति न लागी अनिक भेख बहु जोरी ॥ Har ke nām si▫o parīṯ na lāgī anik bẖekẖ baho jorī. He does not embrace love for the Name of the Lord; he is totally attached to various religious robes. ਤੂਟਤ ਬਾਰ ਨ ਲਾਗੈ ਤਾ ਕਉ ਜਿਉ ਗਾਗਰਿ ਜਲ ਫੋਰੀ ॥੧॥ तूटत बार न लागै ता कउ जिउ गागरि जल फोरी ॥१॥ Ŧūtaṯ bār na lāgai ṯā ka▫o ji▫o gāgar jal forī. ||1|| His attachments are shattered in an instant; when the pitcher is broken, the water runs out. ||1|| ਕਰਿ ਕਿਰਪਾ ਭਗਤਿ ਰਸੁ ਦੀਜੈ ਮਨੁ ਖਚਿਤ ਪ੍ਰੇਮ ਰਸ ਖੋਰੀ ॥ करि किरपा भगति रसु दीजै मनु खचित प्रेम रस खोरी ॥ Kar kirpā bẖagaṯ ras ḏījai man kẖacẖiṯ parem ras kẖorī. Please bless me, that I may worship You in loving devotion. My mind is absorbed and intoxicated with Your Delicious Love. ਨਾਨਕ ਦਾਸ ਤੇਰੀ ਸਰਣਾਈ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਬਿਨੁ ਆਨ ਨ ਹੋਰੀ ॥੨॥੭੧॥੯੪॥ नानक दास तेरी सरणाई प्रभ बिनु आन न होरी ॥२॥७१॥९४॥ Nānak ḏās ṯerī sarṇā▫ī parabẖ bin ān na horī. ||2||71||94|| Nanak, Your slave, has entered Your Sanctuary; without God, there is no other at all. ||2||71||94||
