ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤ ਨਾਮੁ ਮਨਹਿ ਆਧਾਰੋ ॥ अम्रित नामु मनहि आधारो ॥ Amriṯ nām manėh āḏẖāro. The Ambrosial Nectar of the Naam, the Name of the Lord, is the Support of the mind. ਸਾਰਗ ਮਹਲਾ ੫ ॥ सारग महला ५ ॥ Sārag mėhlā 5. Saarang, Fifth Mehl: ਜਿਨ ਦੀਆ ਤਿਸ ਕੈ ਕੁਰਬਾਨੈ ਗੁਰ ਪੂਰੇ ਨਮਸਕਾਰੋ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥ जिन दीआ तिस कै कुरबानै गुर पूरे नमसकारो ॥१॥ रहाउ ॥ Jin ḏī▫ā ṯis kai kurbānai gur pūre namaskāro. ||1|| rahā▫o. I am a sacrifice to the One who gave it to me; I humbly bow to the Perfect Guru. ||1||Pause|| ਬੂਝੀ ਤ੍ਰਿਸਨਾ ਸਹਜਿ ਸੁਹੇਲਾ ਕਾਮੁ ਕ੍ਰੋਧੁ ਬਿਖੁ ਜਾਰੋ ॥ बूझी त्रिसना सहजि सुहेला कामु क्रोधु बिखु जारो ॥ Būjẖī ṯarisnā sahj suhelā kām kroḏẖ bikẖ jāro. My thirst is quenched, and I have been intuitively embellished. The poisons of sexual desire and anger have been burnt away. ਆਇ ਨ ਜਾਇ ਬਸੈ ਇਹ ਠਾਹਰ ਜਹ ਆਸਨੁ ਨਿਰੰਕਾਰੋ ॥੧॥ आइ न जाइ बसै इह ठाहर जह आसनु निरंकारो ॥१॥ Ā▫e na jā▫e basai ih ṯẖāhar jah āsan nirankāro. ||1|| This mind does not come and go; it abides in that place, where the Formless Lord sits. ||1|| ਏਕੈ ਪਰਗਟੁ ਏਕੈ ਗੁਪਤਾ ਏਕੈ ਧੁੰਧੂਕਾਰੋ ॥ एकै परगटु एकै गुपता एकै धुंधूकारो ॥ Ėkai pargat ekai gupṯā ekai ḏẖunḏẖūkāro. The One Lord is manifest and radiant; the One Lord is hidden and mysterious. The One Lord is abysmal darkness. ਆਦਿ ਮਧਿ ਅੰਤਿ ਪ੍ਰਭੁ ਸੋਈ ਕਹੁ ਨਾਨਕ ਸਾਚੁ ਬੀਚਾਰੋ ॥੨॥੩੧॥੫੪॥ आदि मधि अंति प्रभु सोई कहु नानक साचु बीचारो ॥२॥३१॥५४॥ Āḏ maḏẖ anṯ parabẖ so▫ī kaho Nānak sācẖ bīcẖāro. ||2||31||54|| From the beginning, throughout the middle and until the end, is God. Says Nanak, reflect on the Truth. ||2||31||54||
